Great place to spend the night, hike, visit bulnes, restaurant is really good and fhe location is excellent, get there early for parking otherwise park in the road, full service bar next door too.

Perfecto en todos los sentidos sobretodo si viajes con perro, puedes estar con ellos en todos los sitios incluido comedor. Son muy amables en general. Habitaciones muy comodas y unas vistas increíbles.

Stayed here 2 nights as we explored the Picos. Easy walk to the funicular to Bulnes. Room was ok, our only issue was that the shower head holder was broken and not tub stopper - first world problems though really. Everything was clean, food was filling and the beer was cold.

This is a simple hotel right next to the start of 2 hiking trails in a beautiful area. The rooms/beds are basic but it is also cheap. Can’t fault the attached restaurant/bar. Breakfast included and you can buy sandwiches for the hike.

Stayed here for a few nights while hiking in the area and would highly recommend this hotel very close to all trailheads and easy free parking. Room got a little chilly in the evening, but there’s extra blanket to keep warm. Great staff and service and nice light breakfast in the morning highly recommended would stay here again!

Hotel al pie del inicio del camino de la ruta del Cares, excelente para desayunar y arrancar, y luego a la vuelta, justo ponerse a descansar al llegar con una cervezita 😊. También está justo al lado del funicular que une con el pueblo perdido de Asturias, Bulnes, sólo accesible a pie por ruta por montaña o por este funicular. Comentar también que tuvimos un pequeño lío con la reserva con esta aplicación, y agradecer de enorme manera al gerente del hotel la búsqueda de solución al respecto. Y también el cariño y amabilidad ofrecido por todos los empleados del hotel 🤗

Lovely views and walks in the surrounding area food was ok nothing special the rooms are shocking mould and damp everywhere very dated loud noise from the cleaner's in the morning the only reason i would stay here is because of its lovely location

Was booked in for 2 nights, left after the 1st night. Incredibly basic, like a hostel. No plug in the basin or bath. No kettle facilities. Full of hickers shouting along the corridors at 6am to each other. All the doors slam. The worse thing about the hotel is the utter rudeness of the staff, especially in the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast consisted of purely stale bread, cake and croissants.

The worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. While we didn’t expect luxury accommodations, we did expect clean rooms without broken beds. The service was extremely unfriendly and the food in the restaurant was pretty terrible. Beware, the restaurant closes at 9:30 and there’s nothing else for miles. We had 2 rooms. One had a broken bed with 1 pillow for 2 people and dead bugs in the bathroom. Then after arguing with the manager, she finally refunded us for our inconvenience for that room. That is the best thing we can say about the stay here which is unfortunate.

We had a terrible stay and checked out one nicht early because we couldn’t stand staying one more night. The rooms were dirty, after the first „room cleaning“ we had dog paw prints all over the bed…the bathrooms resembled a gas station bathroom (also dirty) and the food was horrible. The service however was ok and some people even spoke English.

Absolutely awful hotel arrived yesterday told there was a bus every hour to town nothing arrived. Also told taxi was easy to get home..no taxi available 12k walk home in the rain. Rooms very basic load people shouting in the corridor at 06:00 in the morning and slamming bedroom doors. Breakfast was terrible just stale bread and the waiter was very rude. Went somewhere else after one night never go back here again staff were terrible, shouldn’t be in hospitality industry

Beautiful place in the mountains with the kind of warm, welcoming, and personal attention one used to get in the old days but is now so absent from the modern hotel machinery. We adored the place and the owners and cannot recommend it highly enough!

Hotel al pie del inicio del camino de la ruta del Cares, excelente para desayunar y arrancar, y luego a la vuelta, justo ponerse a descansar al llegar con una cervezita 😊. También está justo al lado del funicular que une con el pueblo perdido de Asturias, Bulnes, sólo accesible a pie por ruta por montaña o por este funicular. Comentar también que tuvimos un pequeño lío con la reserva con esta aplicación, y agradecer de enorme manera al gerente del hotel la búsqueda de solución al respecto. Y también el cariño y amabilidad ofrecido por todos los empleados del hotel 🤗

The worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. While we didn’t expect luxury accommodations, we did expect clean rooms without broken beds. The service was extremely unfriendly and the food in the restaurant was pretty terrible. Beware, the restaurant closes at 9:30 and there’s nothing else for miles. We had 2 rooms. One had a broken bed with 1 pillow for 2 people and dead bugs in the bathroom. Then after arguing with the manager, she finally refunded us for our inconvenience for that room. That is the best thing we can say about the stay here which is unfortunate.

Stayed here 2 nights as we explored the Picos. Easy walk to the funicular to Bulnes. Room was ok, our only issue was that the shower head holder was broken and not tub stopper - first world problems though really. Everything was clean, food was filling and the beer was cold.

Was booked in for 2 nights, left after the 1st night. Incredibly basic, like a hostel. No plug in the basin or bath. No kettle facilities. Full of hickers shouting along the corridors at 6am to each other. All the doors slam. The worse thing about the hotel is the utter rudeness of the staff, especially in the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast consisted of purely stale bread, cake and croissants.

Absolutely awful hotel arrived yesterday told there was a bus every hour to town nothing arrived. Also told taxi was easy to get home..no taxi available 12k walk home in the rain. Rooms very basic load people shouting in the corridor at 06:00 in the morning and slamming bedroom doors. Breakfast was terrible just stale bread and the waiter was very rude. Went somewhere else after one night never go back here again staff were terrible, shouldn’t be in hospitality industry

This is a simple hotel right next to the start of 2 hiking trails in a beautiful area. The rooms/beds are basic but it is also cheap. Can’t fault the attached restaurant/bar. Breakfast included and you can buy sandwiches for the hike.

We had a terrible stay and checked out one nicht early because we couldn’t stand staying one more night. The rooms were dirty, after the first „room cleaning“ we had dog paw prints all over the bed…the bathrooms resembled a gas station bathroom (also dirty) and the food was horrible. The service however was ok and some people even spoke English.

This was the perfect way to visit the Picos de Europa, Bulnes, and the Cares Gorge. A small parking lot for hotel guests and a SUPER helpful staff makes this place an obvious choice with the perfect location for a visit to this area. Our experience was amazing. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The location was beautiful and handy as a spot to start so many amazing hikes. The included breakfast was not only delicious, but accommodated my gluten free needs. Our hope is to return to this amazing place.
