We stayed at the Cove house for 5 nights and used the property as our wedding venue! We had an amazing stay, and it was perfect for our wedding. We received so many compliments on how great of a venue it was and how beautiful the property was. The house was perfect, super cute and worked great for getting ready photos. The master bedroom is beautiful. The view of the water is great to wake up to and the screened in porches were great for morning coffee. The property was well kept and looked just like the pictures. We loved enjoying the paddle boards and kayaks. Our only regret was not booking it for more days! Rick was super quick to respond and super helpful! 10/10 recommend this stay!

This large, clean, well maintained house provides plenty of room. The two livingrooms were open enough and large enough for us to play cornhole indoors on one rainy afternoon. There were also enough board games to play. We spent most of our time down at the sandy beach crabbing, swimming, kyaking and diving for oysters. In the evenings there were plenty of screened porches and a large open porch to play games. We also had bonfires down at the beach and watched the deer graze. The golf cart was useful for transporting food and beverages to the beach. If you like the outdoors and water sports during the day and the comforts of a modern home at night this the vacation rental for that.

We had a great time staying at this charming house in a beautiful setting. During the day, we swam, kayaked, crabbed and visited local points of interest. The beach, pier and firepit provided fun and relaxation throughout the day, accessed by the provided golf cart. Great spot to kick back and enjoy family.

This was our third trip to the Cove house in Drayden. The owner has been very gracious with us and has really made my family feel very at home at what is becoming an annual vacation spot for us. My family loves to play at the beach and enjoy the kayaks on the water. This time we also were watching seagulls dive and catch their supper. We had a BBQ supper by the water and watched the sun set. The property is well maintained and the house is in very good condition. The golf cart to get to the beach and back is a very nice perk.

What a fantastic property! We loved staying here and our family had such a great time exploring. Sadly it was a drizzly, dreary weekend but we had one nice day to go down to the beach and the kids enjoyed playing in the water. We loved the variety of porches to sit on and have different views and there was plenty of room for the kids to play indoors when it was raining. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

A wonderful week in a wonderful home. Exactly as advertised and had everything we needed. The golf cart was super helpful. The walk to the water is flat and only about a ten minute or less walk. Saw a ton of wildlife including deer, red fox and an otter. And the kitties that roam around are adorable! There were cardinals everywhere! Highly recommend this home! Thank you so much for sharing your large, comfortable, delighted home.

Upon arrivail, after unpacking we looked for the Hot Tub which was advertised on his Vrbo Add it was no where to be found. I called Rick who insisted i looked at the wrong Add ! I Explained to him its the 1st listing of 54 Admendments, been there since May..Then he got really upset ! Down Right Rude... So I let it go dont want to argue with him! Theres a Deck Facing the Water he said Use At Own Risk ! Some of the boards loose. Wow! So we never used it too Scared of Injuries... The Ice Machine was Not Working ! Had to buy ice n store in coolers ! WOW ! There are 2 Cats with a Litter of kittens living under the Front Door Deck we had to Feed n Water Daily.THE KITTENS WERE REMOVED BY THE CLEANING CREW WOW! Host doesnt allow Pets ! Wow This is a Million Dollar House,it needs alot of Work Done! Shame he let it go so long! Wow! Then when i get home he sends me pics that was obivously staged . My Wife & I inspected each room before leaving like we have always done ! We been using Vrbo over 20 years now & have an Excellent Tenant Record !

We had a great long weekend together! The house was clean, large with plenty of room and seating, and fully stocked for all our needs. The property was quiet, secluded and beautiful. My husband and I took our boys ten and twelve over easter break. The property was very private. The expansive views of the yard looking out to the bay we're beautiful. The house was really clean and nicely decorated . The master bedroom had great views and the bed was amazing. It might be to buy the mattress! We were unable to put our boat in. Due to the water levels and the sludge. But we found a boat launch only ten minutes away. All in all, if you want a very relaxing vacation, this is it. Also local restaurants for great!

This was one of our favorite vacations as a family and a huge part of that was the property and home. It is hard to ask for any more than a beautiful home with plenty of space and a property that allows for beach lounging and kayaking.It was a great trip for our pets, as well, who loved playing in the yard and in the sand. They also kept an eye on the family of deer that regularly walked through the yard.The owner was great as well, responding to messages quickly and there were no issues checking in or checking out. Doesn't get much better than this rental experience.

Upon arrivail, after unpacking we looked for the Hot Tub which was advertised on his Vrbo Add it was no where to be found. I called Rick who insisted i looked at the wrong Add ! I Explained to him its the 1st listing of 54 Admendments, been there since May..Then he got really upset ! Down Right Rude... So I let it go dont want to argue with him! Theres a Deck Facing the Water he said Use At Own Risk ! Some of the boards loose. Wow! So we never used it too Scared of Injuries... The Ice Machine was Not Working ! Had to buy ice n store in coolers ! WOW ! There are 2 Cats with a Litter of kittens living under the Front Door Deck we had to Feed n Water Daily.THE KITTENS WERE REMOVED BY THE CLEANING CREW WOW! Host doesnt allow Pets ! Wow This is a Million Dollar House,it needs alot of Work Done! Shame he let it go so long! Wow! Then when i get home he sends me pics that was obivously staged . My Wife & I inspected each room before leaving like we have always done ! We been using Vrbo over 20 years now & have an Excellent Tenant Record !

Good sized home with everything you need. Beautiful property had a great time riding on the golf cart to the pier. Saw lots of wildlife such a peaceful location. Host was very accomodating and went out of his way to help.

We stayed at the Cove house for 5 nights and used the property as our wedding venue! We had an amazing stay, and it was perfect for our wedding. We received so many compliments on how great of a venue it was and how beautiful the property was. The house was perfect, super cute and worked great for getting ready photos. The master bedroom is beautiful. The view of the water is great to wake up to and the screened in porches were great for morning coffee. The property was well kept and looked just like the pictures. We loved enjoying the paddle boards and kayaks. Our only regret was not booking it for more days! Rick was super quick to respond and super helpful! 10/10 recommend this stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The internet was not working when i got there and they resolved it quickly and let me know i would receive a partial refund if the problem was not resolved quickly.

Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards! The golf cart was great to use to take down to the water and back. Comfortable beds and super clean. Rick was very responsive and great yo work with.

This property was perfect for our group and a perfect distance from Maryland international raceway which was the reason we were in Maryland. Would highly recommend and the owner Rick was excellent at answering any questions we had.

This was one of our favorite vacations as a family and a huge part of that was the property and home. It is hard to ask for any more than a beautiful home with plenty of space and a property that allows for beach lounging and kayaking.It was a great trip for our pets, as well, who loved playing in the yard and in the sand. They also kept an eye on the family of deer that regularly walked through the yard.The owner was great as well, responding to messages quickly and there were no issues checking in or checking out. Doesn't get much better than this rental experience.

My husband and I took our boys ten and twelve over easter break. The property was very private. The expansive views of the yard looking out to the bay we're beautiful. The house was really clean and nicely decorated . The master bedroom had great views and the bed was amazing. It might be to buy the mattress! We were unable to put our boat in. Due to the water levels and the sludge. But we found a boat launch only ten minutes away. All in all, if you want a very relaxing vacation, this is it. Also local restaurants for great!

Stunning property by a small private beach by the river. Lovely house with beautiful views from the abundance of doors & windows. Well stocked kitchen and toiletries. Comfortable beds , linens and extra blankets. Convenient golf cart to get to & back from the water. Very quiet area . Perfect family vacation.

We had a great time staying at this charming house in a beautiful setting. During the day, we swam, kayaked, crabbed and visited local points of interest. The beach, pier and firepit provided fun and relaxation throughout the day, accessed by the provided golf cart. Great spot to kick back and enjoy family.

No pictures or description can actually give you the peace and tranquility that this place provides!! We LOVED the privacy and being avle to walk (or ride) to rhe private beach and let our dogs explore and swim. We even crabbed for the first time and caught 2 crabs in no time. HIGHLY recommend

A wonderful week in a wonderful home. Exactly as advertised and had everything we needed. The golf cart was super helpful. The walk to the water is flat and only about a ten minute or less walk. Saw a ton of wildlife including deer, red fox and an otter. And the kitties that roam around are adorable! There were cardinals everywhere! Highly recommend this home! Thank you so much for sharing your large, comfortable, delighted home.

What a great place. So quiet and secluded yet easily accessible to all we needed. We did not get to use the firepit at the river because it was windy. We did use the gas fire on the patio at the house. It was lovey sitting out there looking at stars.We cooked at the house and had everything we needed. We also went out to restaurants. Best of both worlds. We enjoyed the Air museum at Patuxent and the Maritime museum on Solomons Island. The Maritime museum is a gem. We also visited historic St Marys City - excellent and Pt Lookout Lighthouse.The house was very clean. We had all we needed. I loved the various rooms for gathering - the readers in one place and the talkers in another. We enjoyed watching the neighbors goats and all the wildlife from the screened porch. One evening when I was playing my mountain dulcimer on the porch we had 5 deer grazing. We also saw turkeys and lots of birds.This definitely goes on the return trip list.

This lovely place was one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was well stocked. It was exactly as advertised, but better. It’s one of the most peaceful places we’ve found. Our dogs loved it, because they had so much space to roam and explore. We loved the beach. The host even laid a bonfire for us down there, so all we had to do is light it. So many places in the house, as well, to relax. Screened rooms balconies, etc. We enjoyed waking up in the morning to watch the deer in the field from our bed. We can’t wait to go back!!
