The hotel was very clean and the people were very friendly and nice. The safety lock on the room was broken and it looked like once someone had tried to break into the room. Although nothing happened but when we were there. The neighborhood is not great, but we got that hotel because it was near the Oakland arena and we were able to walk to and from our concert. There is no coffee at the whole hotel, no conditioner just shampoo, and they charged for ice. Overall it was decent for the price and I would probably stay there again if I was going to the arena.

This is a comparatively low cost motel. On the positive side, our room was very clean. Unfortunately, it was also very small, with two twin beds barely 3 ft from one another. There was no closet in which to hang or store things. There was also no in-room coffee, and we were not sure if any coffee was available on the premises. This motel is located in a bad part of town, with homeless camps and graffiti and abundance. The motel itself is fenced off, so we felt relatively safe. Nonetheless, we will probably not stay here again and pay more for a better location.

It was a weekend getaway and this hotel hit the spot with plenty of secure parking, liked the location for easy access on/off freeway

I like the gate that locked and it was actually a big area not small and the staff was helpful.

Clean and in good condition. Wifi was weak. Felt mostly safe staying there. Good value.

Nice hotel, bad neighborhood. Wasn’t aware that I had to pay for parking until I arrived, no toilet paper in the room. Definitely need thicker blankets, shouldn’t have to ask for one. Staff was great though.

This relatively less expensive motel in Oakland is in a rough neighborhood- I wouldn’t recommend it for women traveling alone- and some of the clientele match the neighborhood. But once you are inside it’s relatively safe and clean and the bed and sheets are clean. It’s ok for a night or two max. The website price doesn’t match the real price: there’s a $20 up charge for facilities and a $6 parking fee-and taxes- so the cheapest room is about $105.00. The management isn’t very helpful so don’t expect much. It’s basically a Motel 6 near the airport and Coliseum.

I like to make my choices informed, and this hotel charges the customers a 20 dollars service Fee? really? we have to pay the check in? and besides that the charge a 6 dollars parking fee? it would be a more honest business practice to increase their rates with both fees included, so customers know exactly how much they will pay to stay in this hotel, sorry but that looked like a scam to me. one you booked it you can't do anything.

The room had a bad order the linen was stained and dingy.

Clean rooms and helpful staff who allowed me to check in early as my flight arrived in morning. Right off the freeway so easy on and off. Seems like they recently upgraded the rooms. Quite modern feel. Will come again.

The inside of the room was great. Looked like it was just renovated, fresh paint and all that. The room had hardwood floors, which is always a bouns for me, comfy-ish bed, nice shower, clean bedding and towels. The room was grate but the area is a bit sketch. Definitely not a place to stay with kids or if youre travelling alone.

The sheets were dirty and smelled bad. The water pressure for the shower were like bathing in a drinking water fountain, the towels had stains and didn’t smell clean. Definitely not worth paying for.

I mean it was “alright” noisy throughout the entire night with lots of “suspicious” activities. Room was fairly clean few stains on sheets floors little dirty but everything can’t be perfect.

I liked that the staff was responsive to my issues in my first two rooms, but the third room had a broken shower curtain rod. I didn't complain because it was the third room and a broken shower curtain rod only affected my bathroom experience. The first issue was with room A (even though non-smoking) a previous guest smoked in it. I have respiratory issues, so I couldn't stay there. The second issue with room B, the representative moved me to room B and room B was not ready for the next occupant. I found hair on a towel and the bed had a red make-up stain. Also the remote could not be programmed for the Philips TV. So when I got to room C, it was a relief that the broken shower curtain rod was the only issue. The rooms didn't supply hangers to hang my clothes. There were these knobs near the TV for hanging a jacket or a sweatshirt by the hood. But I could hang my slacks up or multiple dress shirts. Do not expect them to restock towels or make up the bed, even with a week's stay. I had to get my own replacement towels. Also, I was refused the service to make-up my bed. There's a parking fee charge. Which I am lost on why, because there are no teams playing games at Oakland Coliseum. FYI, parking fee on website was $5/day and it's $6/day. Some readers might think that a dollar is not much of a difference, but for someone like me who stayed a week, I was charged $42 instead of $35 for parking a vehicle. That was all the issues. I was glad that the heating unit worked.

We just needed a place to sleep on a busy holiday weekend. It worked. The room was fine. Im not sure about the neighborhood. Looked sketchy. Sirens and freeway noise all night.

The surrounding area was very unsafe... the room had few amenities, the broken bed was noisy, and the hot water in the bathroom was low. I also didn't know they rented rooms by the month and that people actually lived there. I wouldn't go back.

Old lady (works in night time) is very rude

Manager didn’t speak English well. They are over worried and erred about me not paying for my tenants’ temporary 20 day stay. Twice threatened them with lock-out or forced-out. I guess it’s due to the declining area that draws some dishonest quests.

The property and the rooms were clean, Its next to the highway and it was loud and noisy. Front clerk staff was meh! They will try to rip you off of your security deposit.

Theres tons of homeless outside, i stayed for a couple hours and left because i felt so unsafe. When i went to the desk to drop off the card the one guy infront of me kept staring me up and down and asked if i was alone. When i got to the desk after him the guy yelled at me saying nothing bad has happened here when that situation just happened. Despite other reviews i felt verey unsafe here

overall a great spot. While I know they couldn't do anything about it, the outer area seemed really unsafe. They did seem to have cameras and a gate so that made it feel safer

You definitely get what you pay for here. Pros: price, distance to Coliseum/BART/Airport, street food nearby. Cons: old infrastructure, safety outside of hotel. Really isn’t the hotels fault, but Oakland is super unsafe. I grew up in a dangerous part of LA, but even I felt a little uneasy at times. Plenty of fans walked back at night, so felt fine. There are tons of great street food options during the day. I get the sense that drug dealers were using the property, but they didn’t bother me & I didn’t bother them. Mind your business and you should be fine. Place was clean, but it’s an old building. Considering the state of Oakland right now, can’t say I blame the owner for not investing more $$ into it.

A good motel to stay in but its location is rather undesirable

We walked to the Oakland collisium for an A's game. There seemed to be an abandoned homeless encampment down the strech of road. The hotel room was small for our family, but we fit just fine. We were out most of the time anyways. We did feel safe. The noises we heard were from the staff cleaning. Room came with a microwave and mini fridge!The freeway is less than a mile away, so that could get loud. There were good food(Mexicana and Central American)trucks galore right outside the hotel! That was a pro! The walk at night to the stadium was about a mile and a half. Straight line. But there was a lot of trash a long the way.
