Pool was clean spa wasnt and water was cold in spa No smart tv not many channels

We enjoyed our stay here.. Very clean and maids are friendly. The pool there was great! The only minor complaint is not enough pillows for the beds. Other then that i truly recommend this hotel.

Jacuzzi cold and beeping noise in the storage room next to me all night. Manager gave me a small refund.

THE CURRENT CONSTRUCTION WAS A BIT OF AN ISSUE, BUT TO BE EXPECTED.

Pictures lie! Rooms are way out dated. Toilet moved when getting off it making a loud bang when moving back. No coffee maker anywhere. No breakfast area. Inn does not have a laundry room and the hot tub and pool were gross. Pictures must be of a different inn. Definitely leave there feeling very nasty.

Room is clean and comfy. Parking is tight but doable.

Check in was alright, you cannot go in the lobby, its locked and you have to wait outside and talk through a tiny window. The elevator does not have a permit put up either so that was a little weird. Wouldnt walk around barefoot in your room as the carpets and tile floors are very dirty leaving brand new white socks BLACK. Didnt get the chance to use the pool or hot tub but they looked nice. Parking is also very cramped. Overall for the price is was alright. Would i stay here again, no most definitely not. Beds are also very stiff and blankets thin, if you are the type to get cold when you sleep definitely bring extras with you because the ones they provide you with are basically sheets.

The pool and hot tub were closed with a sign that said it was closed by the health authority.

Room & shower area was very clean & bed comfortable. Air/Heat/Fan unit, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner,TV, Fridge, Phone, hair dryer (ask office), iron & ironing board, in room. Small beside table, no light, overhead only, round table & chair in corner. No closet, no credenza, no hooks for clothes. Suitcase is ur closet. Morning coffee in lobby, only. One elevator at middle of complex. Big parking lot, pool unheated, spa, tepid water, but clean. Walking Exterior property was worrisome at night. Must be very vigilant. I’m of a certain age but braved the walk only once at night, daytime was ok. Much lower price per night than other inns. Decent places to eat across main drag, especially Cocina Mexican!

Weather was nice. The room wasn't clean, there wad bugs crawling on the bed, the shower had hair on the ground, the carpet was dirty, sticky, and black stuff leading from the front door to the restroom and the night stand.

ROACHES

These types of hotels can be hit or miss with their quality, cleanliness, and service. This one was a hit. Though basic, the room was remarkably clean and well-maintained. It seemed like it was renovated recently. The room was cleaned twice in the four days I stayed, which was fine. Check-in and check out were were easy and the staff was friendly. Parking was easy and free. Access to the freeway was great. The beach was only a short drive away.

The ceiling was leaking water from rain also found a bedbug bite and killed a bedbug.

The room was not completely clean. Different types of hair in the shower from previous guests. Air conditioning vent was full of dust and dirt and had a bad smell emitting from it. Spider webs in corner and along door frame corners. Old ramen noodles and trash on floor along wall. Carpet was extremely dirty and sticky, we put the towels on the floor to use as space rugs to walk without shoes. Room was not cleaned properly and potentially have been this way for a while.

It was the cleanest Inn I stayed at in San Diego

Gnats in the room. Cockroach was on the bed. Carpet was completely filthy. Area is not the best.

There was a bunch of issues and now they are ignoring my calls and emails. There were bed bugs in the rooms along with a man threatening to kill my girlfriend. I have videos of the bed bugs and when I requested a full refund they said they needed to do an investigation. After providing them with all the information the manager never responded. I have screenshots of the amount of calls they ignored and the emails I sent that he ignored. We only ended up staying one night because of the whole incident so they gave us half back, but after this horrible experience I want all the money back.

Check in was easy, rooms were basic and small bit clean and appeared well taken care of. Bathroom and shower were clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable.

Hotel has been remodeled but it is dingy. The carpet has paint over spray all over it with dirt stains which left my feet dirty from walking barefoot on it. It’s not in the best area. The staff was nice and accommodating. The bedding was clean but I would recommend bringing your own pillow.

I booked through Expedia and somehow they never got our reservation. They managed to fix that and were able to eventually give us a room, though. Guest Wifi was very spotty where we were located (3rd floor), maybe it’s better at the lower levels? Also no place to get drinking water except the vending machine (which ran out fast). We did come back every day to find the room cleaned, which was nice after being out all day. Overall, average. Just needed a place to sleep at the end of the day, really.

Floors and walls are very thin, you can hear people in the rooms next to, above and below you. Room also wasnt vacuumed before we got it. Outside of that, everything else was okay.

Positives - nice staff, clean room, refrigerator, offers to vacuum during room service after only one night stay, coffee in the lobby in the morning, extra towels when asked. Negatives - practically no water pressure in shower, no dresser or closet for clothes, and only one night stand. I liked the shower products but the poor water pressure detracted from that.

You get what you pay for. There is no where to put your clothes, only 1 night stand, there is a table but only 1 rolling desk chair. Oh and a fridge. The water was sometimes warm and sometimes cold so you never knew if you would end up taking a cold shower which we did most of the time.

The motel is ideally situated. Several rooms have been upgraded with contemporary furnishings and a modern aesthetic. My only dissatisfaction with the room pertained to the television and its cable service, which I found to be quite unsatisfactory.

Rooms are not well insulated. Rooms are clean. WI-FI is horrible or non-existent. Customer service is not so friendly, except the cleaning staff does do a great job with a hello and a smile. A little noisy do to Freeway vehicle traffic nearby.

The room has no hanging bars to hang clothes on. Shower was excellent. Bed was comfortable.

Perfect location and room was clean but the sheet over the bed base has a stain on it. The dressing was missing knobs and the TV was horrible. Some channels (the movie channels) were not working, you couldn’t hear any noise coming out a bit. Other channels were fuzzy and had lines going through the screen so you couldn’t see it clearly. Another thing is that the customer service was bad. I was calling the office for about 10 minutes in the evening time and no one picked up the phone so we were unable to change rooms. Overall, For the price point I’d rather stay somewhere else. Not worth it!

Nowhere to hang clothes, no dresser. Nightstand on one side only, not enough lighting

I recently stayed at this hotel for a weekend trip, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon checking in, I was assigned to room 127 by a staff member named Jorge. After a long day of travel and attending a concert, I returned to the hotel around 1AM, only to find that my key cards did not work. 

After seeking assistance from another staff member, I was issued a new key, only to discover that another couple was already in my assigned room. This was not only confusing but also alarming, as the individual in the room reacted aggressively upon my entry. Thankfully, after some explanation, the situation was diffused, but it left me and my girlfriend feeling unsafe and uncomfortable.

The staff member on duty acknowledged that there had been a mistake in assigning my room due to the inexperience of the employee, a younger individual named Jorge, who checked me in. While I appreciate the acknowledgment, it did little to alleviate the distress caused by the situation. I was given a new room (room 128), but the experience had already ruined our stay.

To make matters worse, I had personal belongings left in room 127, including clothing, personal hygiene products and a new pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, and despite assurances that they would be retrieved, I never received any follow-up on this matter.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The lack of attention to detail and the resulting chaos made for an uncomfortable experience. I would stay away

Should have coffee at least . If you check in early you pay for that. I do not think it is fair.what about we check in late ? Any discount for guests ? If the room is available, please check in for the guest

The Inn was comfortable. We sat at the pool where there was a family already enjoying it. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. The room could use a little more amenities such as a ceiling light, side table, dresser under the television, and maybe a better chair as opposed to a computer chair. The bed was comfy and you can tell the managers are in the process of improving the Inn. I hope they get to the carpet next. All in all we liked it. The staff was great.

This place deserves more stars. Miguel at the front desk was very helpful.

Horribly attitude at the front desk

I did not get back my 100 dollars was asked for deposit.

This guy tried to charge my card 6-7 different transactions. Beware of this location. I had my card locked otherwise this would have been an absolute disaster and I would have not been able to get home. Do not risk it

Upon arrival there was a long line apparently the reservation system was down took over an hour to get checked in. Luckily my room was almost ready fast check in Damien was definitely trying to remain professional and gave others options for refunds.

The smoke detector in my room was beeping loudly to point I could not sleep. The front desk was notified and they changed the battery but the beeping continued. I removed the smoke detector to stop the noise so that I would be able to sleep. When I explained to the front desk clerk the manager came from his office and stated that he would be charging me $50 for unplugging the detector. He was very rude and stated that if I wanted my deposit to “call the police”

Pros: The rooms are renovated and are great. The bathrooms are clean. The bed was firm but it didn't bother me too much. Room had a nice size refrigerator and a microwave. I didn't use the pool as I was only there overnight for business, but it looked very clean and maintained. Cons: the area is pretty sketchy at night. There were a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot and wandering around the area. There was a homeless encampment on the sidewalk out front, but in the morning it looked like the police were doing their best to shuffle them out of there. Check your sliding window because the 1st room I checked into it didn't lock and could easily be slid open by someone. The 2nd room I was moved to had a window that still wouldn't lock but it had a fastener that could be locked into the track. When I checked in the room keys didn't work and I had to go back into the office to get them reprogrammed; this is really just more of an aggravating inconvienence after a long drive and day. Overall: it was just OK, but I don't believe I will be going back.

Criminal activity. Homeless camp just other side of chain link fence. No coffee before 7am.

Although the exterior of this hotel looked pretty run down at first glance I was impressed with the cleanliness and overall condition of the rooms. Bed was very comfortable and a great TV and channel selection. The bathroom also appeared to have been redone and very clean. I did not use RT the pool but saw people in it and again it appeared very clean. The immediate area is not the best but it is convenient to interstate and Sea World

The staff was nice, the rooms were cheap, its located near everything which was super convenient. Looks like a rough neighborhood but the stay in the property felt safe.

I appreciated that the bed was turned consistently each day for my 5 night stay, however, there were many demerits to this location. On my first night, I witnessed a 5 on 1 assault in the parking lot. NOT a safe area. This place also had horrendous wifi. Not to mention, the lighting and plugs in the room were ridiculous. You could not turn on the lamp next to the bed without turning on the switch for the ceiling lights at the front door. The interior decor was also extremely drab. Furniture appeared decades old (i.e., from the 70s) and there was ZERO art on the walls. Lastly, the hotel itself was seemingly under renovation.

Area around hotel was nasty but loved how close you are to Sea World and other great things.

Hot tub was broken after being told it was working. I was double charged for my room. No hairdryer in the room. No hair conditioner. No breakfast. No shuttle available. Difficult to get in and out of. Very noisy. I could hear the TV from the room next door and people talking outside as well as traffic all night long. Bed was extremely uncomfortable with hard pillows. Not the rest and relaxation I was expecting.

Best priced and close to SeaWorld and Mission Beach. I was happy the hottub was warm even in the winter. Restaurants and groceries and a drug store all right across the street. Quiet enough. Just have to get lucky enough to not get noisy neighbors. We did have some arrive late with loud children in the adjoining room. Not much to be done about bad parenting. I don't blame the motel. I will probably stay here again.

Lots of shopping and goid food places nearby. Bus to Old Town and Mission and Pacific Beach frequent. Across street from Holliday Inn Express area quiet, WiFi very spotty, No coffee no breakfast, one plug only at night second plug turns off with light.

I Loved that It was so close to mission beach, the room was clean. Nice size room but unfortunately no breakfast so that part my kids were not happy with
