House was ok, but needs a lot of TLC. Windows either don’t open or the blinds are broken. Screens are rusted out. Beds are stiff, janky & unstable. Door do not properly latch. Outdoor furniture was HORRIFIC. Listing showed an outdoor dining table with chairs, Adirondack chairs & chaise lounges - all the biggest reason we booked this property… NONE of the outdoor furniture was there. They had 2 extremely uncomfortable chairs with a side table, a rusted out dining table & 3 “barstools” at a makeshift counter. When DIBR was contacted regarding outdoor seating for a disabled person in our party, our needs were disregarded & told that furniture can change at any tim, without notice. 4 rusty, unsafe dining chairs were brought the next day & we were told they would be back with chaise lounges, but they never came. A member of our family got a cut & needed a bandaid, but the first aid kit was completely empty with the exception of some trash & a few alcohol pads. We are in no hurry to rent from Dauphin Island Beach Rentals again, that’s for sure.

Beautiful setting and great beach access. Four years ago we stayed and everything was perfect. Several areas needed repairs and the rental company addressed the issues.

The house was perfect for our family! Our friends stayed next door as well. We had a great time, loved being right on the beach, we will be back next year!

Awesome house, also location. The house was very good. It was a very nice beach in a very quiet neighborhood. The only drawback is the house could stand a very good off-season deep cleaning. I’m not sure if we just hit it at a bad time but it needs a thorough cleaning and also a few repairs. Would likely rebook this house for next year if we go back to Dauphin island.

The location was unbeatable—situated right on the beach, we enjoyed unobstructed views of the Gulf and easy access to the shoreline.The house was exactly as depicted in the photos: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated with coastal charm. The open-concept living area was spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for family gatherings. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease.Communication with the host was seamless—they were responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out.Overall, this beach house provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable vacation. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beachfront retreat on Dauphin Island and would gladly return in the future.
