Check in and out process went well and smooth. The elevator was out of order and our room was on the third floor thankfully using the stairs was not a problem for us. The shower in the room was also out of order. The room was clean of any dirt or trash but everything, including the floor and bed linens were moist and sticky. And there was dead lizard in the bathroom.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is pretty average. Not a lot of extra amenities, but it was clean and not in disrepair. It is very close to a local hospital, but more so in an industrial area with not a lot of options for dining and entertainment. There are buses that can take you to the areas of town that have more options, but the hours are limited, so it is not an ideal place to stay if you do not have your own transportation, or if you are wanting to use public transportation to get around town in the evening hours. Overall, not a bad option if you are have your own transportation and are looking to stay in a quiet area of town.

I understand renovations are going on but I was in town for a surgery. The room I booked was not available so they put me on the first floor where the whole bottom floors toilets wouldn’t flush. Yes we checked out. And I want a refund that’s disgusting!

Under staffed, took 15 mins to be checked.. noone available at front desk. It appeared people off the streets where hanging out in the lobby and pool. I would highly recommend security and security cameras.

The grounds around the hotel were cluttered with debris and the hotel itself wasn’t gross but not very clean either. We got multiple calls from the front desk about complaints about the kids “running around” but they never left the room and we listened from outside the room to see if it was loud and you could barely hear them.

The rooms are huge! We were in a king room and the bed was amazing. I almost didn’t want to get up. The rooms were fairly clean. You have to request for housekeeping, they don’t automatically come into your room and change the towels and take out the trash.

We've stayed here several times over the past 10 years. This was the last. It's in desperate need of renovations. The room smelled moldy. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. The bathroom wasn't clean. The carpet was sticky. The TV had 1 channel and the volume would go up and down. There were people loitering in the lobby. Really just terrible place. Won't be back

The room was really nice front desk clerk was very nice tub had a rust stain and wasn't really clean so I showered with my shoes on. The door to the room had a large enough space to where if someone wanted to peek in they could and or use one of those pick lock things to open door even with door bolt on. There was not a deadbolt on door to lock door for added security. Where fire water sprinkler was it was just open hole around it.

The Hot water was very inconsistent. The Breakfast was of very low quality. They were always out of everything. They had cereal, they had no milk. They had cereal and milk, they had no bowls. The scramble eggs tasted like rubber. I have stayed there before. Twice. It was enjoyable. I will never stay there again.

Every time I-come down in Louisiana. I stay at quality inn. Love there beds. The fact the sink is in the bathroom. Amazing breakfast with eggs and bacon, and have variety of breakfast options.

Like: TV selection was great, air was cold, staff was friendly, place was clean. Dislike: unprofessional language of staff in the morning as they discussed how unhappy they are with many things. Water pressure lacking. Breakfast not ready when indicated and a lack of breakfast items. Finally, the place needs a new coat of paint to help rid that "old" musty feel.

Room was clean only issue I had was the toilet. Had to hold down the toilet handle long time to get it ti flush completely. Seem like a new float or something is needed. Also the A/C on third floor not working at all. Thr hallway on third floor felt worse than it did outside. Lastly the elevator need repairing. Although capacity is 2000 we were told by signage and staff no more than three people on it at a time. So what happens if it's three people and luggage. We found out, very strange noise. Please these things. Beyond that all good.

It seems like the rooms are newly renovated. Not sure if they all are but the room I was in this time definitely was renovated in the bathroom area. Clean and quiet.

The staff was super friendly and informative of natural sites to visit and where to catch the different types of fish we was looking to catch .
