The room was amazing, bathroom wasn’t quite as clean as I’d like. Tub needed something to prevent slipping because it got slick. I enjoyed the shower fixtures that were modern and updated. There was not a microwave which posed a small inconvenience. Would have also been nice if there was a pool. A/c worked amazing as heat index was 107. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely return.

The room was clean and quiet, water pressure was good, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The AC worked well and was quiet. We ate three times at the restaurant and it was amazing. We also had room service for breakfast twice. It was fast and excellent, as well. The hotel offers valet parking at $45/day, which we opted for. If you're going to DC, this property is about a 10-minute walk to the Metro. Although the hotel offers shuttle service, we opted to walk. There's more to the workout room than is shown in the pictures. My wife and I travel a lot, and this was clearly one the best properties we've stayed at.Our next trip to DC, we'll definitely give this hotel STRONG consideration.

We had a fabulous stay here. The housekeeping refreshed everything everyday. The workout area met our needs and offered a view of the courthouse. When we wanted to get closer to old town, we had a driver to take us. Well definitely recommend this hotel to others and book here again in the future when we visit.

Decent and clean property. Staff is courteous and did respond to our queries promptly. Only complaint is that the valet parking is costly at $40/day but have option to park at nearby garage for $10.

This is our 2 nd time staying at the Westin We love the fact we can have the shuttle to old town and have it pick us back up. The hotel is very nice. Love the restaurant and bar. We will be back soon

I found the beds, bedding and pillows rather uncomfortable and the shower needed to be repaired-it leaked.The postered chair in the room was stained. The staff was helpful and the lobby area is attractive and welcoming. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very nice.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. But all 4 elevators smell like feces, the stairwell smells like skunk, and one front desk person gave me a seriously bad attitude over nothing.

Firstly, this hotel was in an excellent location. I parked in the parking garage nearby for a very cheap rate and I ubered to and from the waterside which was like 15 minutes away. The hotel room was clean and the view was amazing. The room could have been cleaner. The bed and pillows were amazing. I had a very comfortable sleep. I love the scent in my room and the hotel in general. The toilet bowl was super low so not ideal for persons who are tall or have knee issues.The staff was very professional. Overall, I would stay here again and definitely recommend it for others who wanna do a getaway to a cute small town.

Everything looked beautiful, but when I hit under the covers the bed smelled of urine. I called downstairs to tell them. It was 12:30 and I moved to the other bed as we were exhausted after traveling many hours. The second bed smelled clean. I was met with disbelief at night— I said they could come and give it the sniff test— and in the morning. Very disappointing.

We came for a week to attend a wedding and see family members and friends in the DC area. We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had a mini frig which was great to have. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful (extra hangers, towels, water, breakfast vouchers. The free shuttle van was a very convenient and easy way to get to--and back from the waterfront area. Higlhy recommend.

Westin at Old town has a great surrounding area, 10 minutes from DC, efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms. I have a few minor complaints. The elevator room card readers were in disrepair, my room was a deluxe but it wasn’t really as large as I expected, spiders on my room ceiling and walls. No microwave in my room and a very tiny fridge. Other than that, it was an excellent experience.

Incredible service. Staff was very accommodating. Hotel offers many complimentary items. For example I needed a shaver so I went to purchase one in their convenience store and they said it was complimentary! And they gave me shaving cream! Will definitely be staying here again.

I forgot my boots in the room, 20 minutes later when I called from the airport, the guest service told me that they will check and call me back. But they never did, a few days later, they emailed me that the boots were not found. Unbelievable and unacceptable. BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!

Everything was great! Great location - 15 min. Walk from the metro everything was beautiful - and I appreciated they still did a room clean up daily, as opposed to many hotels which have started doing every other day. The bar was nice - the one time my husband and I went in. We had no issues and staff was very friendly

The staff acted like it was an inconvenience that you were there. No real idea of why they were in the hospitality industry at all. For being directly across from the federal courthouse you would have thought they would understand the concept of a business guest. Boy was I wrong.

Staff was very nice and helpful! Great place to stay with comfortable beds and good size room…will definitely come back again We tried the breakfast in their restaurant and it was great!! We had a friemdly shuttle driver that showed us some historical spots and filled us in on their history!

The hotel was clean, staff members were courteous and it was in a convenient location. The free shuttle was an extremely convenient way of traveling to the harbor and taking water taxis to other local sites. The restaurant has excellent dining options and reasonable prices. One draw back is the $40 per night cost to valet park…that is a steep per night added cost. Overall, I highly recommend this property and will be staying here when I am back in town.

Friendly and quick check in Charlotte was very helpful. Room was clean had view of roof to nearby building refrigerator did not work. Water pressure and rain shower were great. Housekeeping was amazing and helpful. On final night restaurant closed early without notification. Had to go out in search of food after a long day. The breakfast at the restaurant was tasty and the staff were great.

The room was clean and quiet, water pressure was good, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The AC worked well and was quiet. We ate three times at the restaurant and it was amazing. We also had room service for breakfast twice. It was fast and excellent, as well. The hotel offers valet parking at $45/day, which we opted for. If you're going to DC, this property is about a 10-minute walk to the Metro. Although the hotel offers shuttle service, we opted to walk. There's more to the workout room than is shown in the pictures. My wife and I travel a lot, and this was clearly one the best properties we've stayed at.Our next trip to DC, we'll definitely give this hotel STRONG consideration.

This Hotel is somewhat confusing for someone who first visit the property.... There is NO sign saying Valet Parking. No sign designating a Consiege. Breakfast at the Restaurant - was terrible. My table of 4 only had coffee. The Menu is very dissappointing.

Really great stay for first trip to Alexandria for a soccer tournament. Room was nice size, beds really comfortable, service at front desk and valet were great. Only complaint, and it’s a minor one, is that there wasn’t an exhaust fan in bathroom, so it became a full blown steam room pretty quickly. It was quick ride to Old Town where we had great meals and did some little tours (Apothecary Museum and Tavern Museum) during down time and there are some decent restaurants walking distance from the hotel too! Trademark inside the hotel had great breakfast.

The hotel is practically in the immediate proximity of the trademark and patent offices. The rooms and the gym area are adequate and everything important is available and everything works. However, this hotel could do with a makeover. I was dissatisfied with the breakfast, which should be included. There is no buffet here, but I only got coupons after asking for. These could then only be exchanged for two very limited breakfast options and this also caused problems, so that I ultimately had to pay for my breakfast.

The property is outdated, especially to be carrying such a prestigious name. Parking is very limited outside of valet. The doorman also did not greet me until he figured out that I was actually a guest. In other words, he only spoke after I had checked in then he offered to hold the door and speak once I had gotten my card key and was headed back out to retrieve my bags. The room was okay, but I was having a hard time getting the temperature to regulate and actually cool off. My next morning shower wasn’t that pleasant either. It took a while for the water to get warm. I can’t offer up more than 3 out of 5 stars for this stay and that’s a little generous.

Overall a positive stay- lots of construction made the lobby loud and congested. After checkout I left my keys in the room only to be stuck and unable to leave the garage without it. Had to back up and go back to get the key to get out- which made catching my flight a little more stressful. Should be a way to leave without key. That was the biggest issue I had.

We had a great experience at this hotel. There was one unfortunate hiccup, but the staff handled it very well. We didn’t realize that pets are allowed in this hotel. Someone in the room next to us left their dog unattended for the evening…a clear violation of hotel policy. When the barking threatened to keep us up at night, the night manager, Kuldeep, was gracious to offer us another room with an upgrade. While it was not ideal to have to pack up and move, we were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to get a peaceful night of rest. We found the restaurant staff to be very pleasant and helpful as well, and our breakfast meals were delicious!
