AC PALACE Hotel&Residence Seoul Gangnam

Pros: great location, clean place, privacy, reasonable price, 24hr office staff (lady staff was not friendly at all) Cons: lack of amenities such as basic iron and iron board missing, complicated hearing system control (which made the room really suffocating at point) no KakaoTalk or WhatsApp or any instant contact point (not timely communication) . dusty and stained carpet in the living room, only one bathroom inside the bedroom (when Hotels.com listed two bathroom which is super misleading) So for the great location, convenience and pricing I say yes but everything else was not practical and enjoyable. At the end the shower drain was also clogged, causing water to back up, so I couldn’t even take a shower. I didn’t even want to bring this up any more cause the 24 hour staffs were not very friendly nor helpful and I didn’t want to bother going to their office in person and asking for help every time. If you want absolute privacy with no help needed at all this place is for you. Otherwise there’s tons of better choices.

Really enjoyed our stay at AC Palace. It is a very convenient apartment style hotel with large refrigerator, washer/dryer, oven, etc. it felt like we had our own little apartment in Gangnam. It is a good location with nearby metro and shopping nearby. It is not exactly close to the main parts of Gangnam but was fine for us even for an evening or morning walk was fine. Catching metro or uber to other parts of Seoul was easy. Loved it!
