The hotel welcome was a lovely touch with complimentary access to some of the amenities which was nice. The sea front location and hotel grounds were amazing with enough pools and sun loungers which was good and avoided the rush of people running to reserve them like to see in other hotels, plenty activities to do around the hotel. All in all, had a really good holiday, the only point which need improving is on the food, although good a varied with plenty options, it was not always seasoned and got repetitive.

Overall a very mixed experience. The room location was superb, right on the sea front with an amazing view and patio. Also very private. The room and bathroom was also very nice (we upgraded to superior) and the room was mostly kept clean and tidy, although on a couple of days there was a failure to replenish tea/ coffee etc. Also towels just dumped on the bed not in the bathroom and bed not turned down. Could not fault any of the staff: all were lovely, accommodating and friendly. The Spa area and gym were what had drawn us to the hotel. You need to pay extra for the sauna 20 euro pp on each entry. Gym is free. The gym is okay, rather small. The Spa is mostly very nice. Could be cleaner in some areas and the jacuzzi is COLD. Also it's unpoliced, so we witnessed some quite inappropriate behaviour occurring in there. We did not use the themed restaurants so cannot comment on those. The buffet food was excellent. A good variety and fresh. The Bistro Bar was a real let down. Food rubbish. The Sports Bar was a joke. It opened at 8pm every night (even when the 6 Nations rugby was playing over the weekend) was grubby looking, dim and dreary. We were all inclusive and although we're not big drinkers in our opinion the alcohol was very watered down. Towards the end of our stay the hotel got extremely busy and they were unable to cope with the volume of guests. There were massive queues for the bar and buffet. Overall we will not be returning.

Nice hotel in a quiet location. Good 4* hotel, not sure it is a 5* as per the listing. The arrival and check in wasn't great but when I pointed this out to the Guest Services they were very very good at recovering the situation. Other than that the stay was what you would expect from a good quality hotel chain. The restaurants were very good but beware, the pool isn't heated so a bit chilly in December

Fantástico resort para disfrutar tanto en familia como en pareja. Habitaciones muy cuidadas, limpia y una atención del personal de 10. Si vas con niños cuentas con múltiples actividades, como piscina con barco pirata y toboganes, mini golf, mini disco, etc. Se disfruta mucho más si vas en media pensión o, por supuesto, todo incluido. Tiene un parking muy amplio justo en la entrada. Muy muy recomendable.

Amazing family stay. Entertainment for kids and adults was on throughout the day and night. Staff were friendly. Food options included plenty of variety. Lots of different pools, only point would be to request that an additional pool is heated during winter months as the bigger ones weren’t used a much. Spa was lovely, games rooms kept the children busy. Room was as you’d expect, a little extra wardrobe space would be good. Quiet spot location wise, roughly 30 min walk (enjoyable along the coastal path) to the sandy beach and shops at a slowish pace. Would highly recommend as a Christmas / New Years break

Fantastic hotel and service. Visiting with our daughter this time, the staff went out of their way to help us. The facilities were great. Only negative was the policy that you can’t take drinks up to your room. With a baby going down early, we were cheap all inclusive guests but would have loved to pop down to the bar and bring a drink back for the evening.

Zimmer sehr gut, Personal sehr freundlich. Schöner pool, gepflegte Anlage. Sehr reichhaltiges Essensangebot, Frühstück sehr gut, große Auswahl auch beim Abendessen, geschmacklich eher durchschnittlich. Im großen Speisesaal ist es extrem laut - es gibt ein paar Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Die Anlage ist riesig, entsprechend viele Gäste. Allerdings dafür erstaunlich ruhig. Wer sowas mag ist dort gut aufgehoben, ich bevorzuge etwas kleinere Unterkünfte.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit nur kleinen Schönheitsfehlern (z.B. einer der Hauptfahrstühle rappelt und quietscht). Personal ist sehr freundlich, Speisenauswahl gut, Zimmer war groß mit schönem Ausblick (leider etwas laut durch Liefereingang im Hintergrund). Die Gläser im Zimmer rochen etwas muffig nach Putzlappen nach der Reinigung, aber sonst machte es einen sauberen Eindruck. In der ersten Hälfte der Urlaubswoche war die Auslastung nicht so hoch, so dass man wirklich ganz entspannt am Pool oder Buffet sein konnte - in der zweiten Hälfte überschwemmten andere Gäste etwas die Einrichtung. Ab da wurde es etwas unentspannter. Aber noch alles im Rahmen bei der Größe des Hauses.

El resort está ubicado en una zona espectacular, con vistas a la isla Fuerteventura, referente al tema de animación y atención por parte del personal un 10. Hay que mejorar el tema de la limpieza ya que no corresponde a la categoría de 5 estrellas.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. However what the “Hotel / Resort” has to offer was not what we expected. Food available was terrible, forget about trying to book a dinner reservation as it’s fully booked by the time you get there, but trust me you’re not missing anything great! The bar, prepares horrible drinks, they should invest in getting their entire bar staff trained to make ANY drink the guest requests. As we asks for drinks that were not part of their menu and they said NO we are unable to prepare them. We are very thankful we only did “half board”. The air conditioning in the rooms was deplorable as well. Rooms were hot to be able to sleep comfortably. I was glad to have brought portable fans as we had to use them at night in order to sleep ok. Pool area, was a turn off as well. They don’t have enough loungers for everyone. You have to be up super early to go and grab one otherwise you’re out of luck. No live music during the day to get a nice pool atmosphere, nothing. Overall this is more like a 2 start facility. I’ll be polite about the rating. I will not be a returning guest.

El apunte que hago es informativo para el hotel. Las sábanas de la cama no se cambiaron en 5 días que yo haya detectado. Estiraban la sábana de arriba pero la bajera estaba arrugada, como la dejamos cada día así como las almohadas (foto). Dicho esto, el hotel, su personal y la comida es de 10! Si surge la ocasión volveremos. La atención a los clientes es estupenda, el entorno del hotel fantástico y la comida si consigues reserva muy buena. Mis felicitaciones!

The grounds were beautiful however needed a lot of repairs as it looked quite dated. Our rooms were 'cleaned' on a daily basis but there was always still dirt on the floor that hadn't been swept. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the kids pool was so cold that you didn't want to get into it. The buffet food was good and a large variety but the staff were rude and it is almost impossible to get anyone to take your drinks order! There was a larger pool which was heated however all the main pools are salt water so not great for the kids! Very family orientated which suited us however all the information is on the app which is hard to navigate so maybe entertainment could be featured more clearly around the hotel.

Muy enfocado en los niños con actividades estupendas para ellos en el club infantil, piscina con toboganes, deportes ... El personal muy atento y agradable todo el tiempo, incluso cuando estén sobrepasados y con demasiada gente. El buffet es muy variado y abundante pero sin demasiada calidad. Poco limpios los platos y cubiertos, alguna cucaracha entre los platos. Tostadoras insuficientes para tanta gente que obligan a largas esperas

The place was kept clean most of the time. Though at tea times the area around the pool was subject to a day’s worth of glasses and food left lying around. Staff would come and clear it up eventually but this was what I faced each time I went swimming in the large pool. I felt sorry for the staff that guests left the place in a mess. The food and service in the Vulcan restaurant was very good. Though I would have liked to have seen capers, cucumber and other salad items on the breakfast bar. Also, as we stayed a week and ate in there each night the menu should be changed more often. The buffet restaurant was awful. Not the food you would expect from a five star hotel. Service was slow, just trying to get a glass or a spoon took forever. The Prestige bar area was nice. We spent most time in there as the main piano area was bedlam with so many people being on all inclusive there were queues at the bar all the time. It felt a bit like being in a workingmens club. The place was kept clean most of the time. Though at tea times the area around the pool was subject to a day’s worth of glasses and food left lying around. Staff would come and clear it up eventually but this was what I faced each time I went swimming in the large pool. I felt sorry for the staff that guests left the place in a mess. The food and service in the Vulcan restaurant was very good. Though I would have liked to have seen capers, cucumber and other salad items on the breakfast bar. Also, as we stayed a week and ate in there each night the menu should be changed more often. The buffet restaurant was awful. Not the food you would expect from a five star hotel. Service was slow, just trying to get a glass or a spoon took forever. The Prestige bar area was nice. We spent most time in there as the main piano area was bedlam with so many people being on all inclusive there were queues at the bar all the time. It felt a bit like being in a workingmens club. Great if that’s your scene. But not what I would class as five star.

Sehr reichhaltiges Essensangebot, Frühstück sehr gut, große Auswahl auch beim Abendessen, geschmacklich eher durchschnittlich. Im großen Speisesaal ist es extrem laut - es gibt ein paar Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Die Anlage ist riesig, entsprechend viele Gäste. Allerdings dafür erstaunlich ruhig. Wer sowas mag ist dort gut aufgehoben, ich bevorzuge etwas kleinere Unterkünfte.

La experifncia ha sido decepcionante. No cumple las expectativas de un 5 estrellas. La habitación la encontramos sucia, habian calcetines sucios de los huespedes anteriores, los bajantes de los baños daban muy mal olor (habitacion 7006) El servicio y la atención en el bufet pésimo. Largas esperas para q limpien una mesa, luego lo mismo para q te traigan la bebida. La comida de los niños se vació y tuvimos q esperar 20min para q trajeran pasta hervida y esto fue a las 19:45 el bufet llevaba abierto tan solo 45min.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit nur kleinen Schönheitsfehlern (z.B. einer der Hauptfahrstühle rappelt und quietscht). Personal ist sehr freundlich, Speisenauswahl gut, Zimmer war groß mit schönem Ausblick (leider etwas laut durch Liefereingang im Hintergrund). Die Gläser im Zimmer rochen etwas muffig nach Putzlappen nach der Reinigung, aber sonst machte es einen sauberen Eindruck. In der ersten Hälfte der Urlaubswoche war die Auslastung nicht so hoch, so dass man wirklich ganz entspannt am Pool oder Buffet sein konnte - in der zweiten Hälfte überschwemmten andere Gäste etwas die Einrichtung. Ab da wurde es etwas unentspannter. Aber noch alles im Rahmen bei der Größe des Hauses.

Overall a very mixed experience. The room location was superb, right on the sea front with an amazing view and patio. Also very private. The room and bathroom was also very nice (we upgraded to superior) and the room was mostly kept clean and tidy, although on a couple of days there was a failure to replenish tea/ coffee etc. Also towels just dumped on the bed not in the bathroom and bed not turned down. Could not fault any of the staff: all were lovely, accommodating and friendly. The Spa area and gym were what had drawn us to the hotel. You need to pay extra for the sauna 20 euro pp on each entry. Gym is free. The gym is okay, rather small. The Spa is mostly very nice. Could be cleaner in some areas and the jacuzzi is COLD. Also it's unpoliced, so we witnessed some quite inappropriate behaviour occurring in there. We did not use the themed restaurants so cannot comment on those. The buffet food was excellent. A good variety and fresh. The Bistro Bar was a real let down. Food rubbish. The Sports Bar was a joke. It opened at 8pm every night (even when the 6 Nations rugby was playing over the weekend) was grubby looking, dim and dreary. We were all inclusive and although we're not big drinkers in our opinion the alcohol was very watered down. Towards the end of our stay the hotel got extremely busy and they were unable to cope with the volume of guests. There were massive queues for the bar and buffet. Overall we will not be returning.

The hotel was very beautiful. Worth to update to the superior room. We had the most amazing view. The only criticism is that during meals, lunch and dinner, the drinks take a bit too long to come. Sometimes you wait for the entirety of your meal. Everything else was perfect.

A five star hotel with some very good five star points, however, our room was in need of some TLC with lots of chipped paint and ageing furniture. We were also located overlooking the noisy family pool, not ideal for a couple of a certain age.

Det här är verkligen inte ett 5-stjärnigt hotell. Tråkigt att de får behålla sina stjärnor som måste vara intjänade väldigt länge sedan? Hotellet är enormt stort, väldigt få hissar, många trappor så är man inte pigg i benen blir det en hel del transport fram och tillbaka. Vi hade ett superior dubbelrum i den något mer lugna delen (7063) rummet var bra - en stor härlig terass med sol hela dagen. In- och utcheckning var väldigt långsam - med långa köer. Och köer var det till det mesta hela vistelsen. Frukostbuffén var allt annat än 5-stjärnig - enkla billiga råvaror - slafsigt upplaggt och halvtomma skålar/fat. Gymmet var litet och omoderna/gamla maskiner. Väldigt slitet hotell. Vi blev besvikna.

It’s a beautiful resort . Issue for me was that I made the mistake of booking a resort when I did not use it! Location not great when traveling around to see and do things . Had to drive out for dinner - on sit restaurants too expensive And room was soooo far from reception as well as from parked car . Was also very cold when there- no heat and draft coming in from the door. I am sure if you plan to stay there and not go on excursions the experience may be better

Lunch in Pool Bar was disappointing with same choice every day. Bistro does not allow take out. Was not able to book any speciality restaurant for an early sitting which was disappointing as we were there for 9 nights. Would still recommend.

We had to inform reception to ensure the minibar was stocked, this should have been done and checked prior to stating the room is ready. The voucher we were given for the Bottle of Chava, we had to ask the Restaurant (El Valcano) twice to provide a bottle. Not a good experience. Service in the Piano bar was very poor. And not enough staff. Had to wait over 40mins to be served. As privilege customer the self service area provided was not a privilege, this area was not worth the extra cost we had paid. On the positive, the Sakura restuarant was very good.

The arrival and check in wasn't great but when I pointed this out to the Guest Services they were very very good at recovering the situation. Other than that the stay was what you would expect from a good quality hotel chain. The restaurants were very good but beware, the pool isn't heated so a bit chilly in December

This is our 2nd trip here. Its more of a 4 star than a 5 Star. Our rooms was lovely and clean and the cleaner did a lovely job each day. The pool area is very busy and everyone reserves sunbeds whichever pool you go to, if you are wanting to be be on the front row around the pool some folk but towels down as early as 06.30, thankfully we never wanted to the front row so was a little easier to get bed. People go on trips etc and still reserve sunbed and return at 3/4pm which I think is unfair to reserve when others are wanting them. The hotel main restaurant is OK, not really many veggie options. drinks service is very slow but this is only because they dont have enough staff. We didnt go into the the evening entertainment but walked past the room it was in and the queue for the bar was usually around 10 deep and 1 person serving again not enough staff. The pool bar could do with an update and as this serves the pools throughout the day it does get busy and could do with more staff. Pool areas are kept clean and tidy. Personally cant see why when you have had a drink you cant dispose of it in the bin which are allocated around the pool instead of letting it get blow over and roll around. The reception staff were great very friendly at check in and check out. if you want a taxi into the centre you just ask them. taxis are around 5 - 10 euros depending on the time of day.

Foyer is beautiful and it smells gorgeous. Reception Staff are so pleasant and helpful. Bar service can be very slow but waiters are very pleasant. Maybe need more staff behind the bar. Simone particularly was very kind and extremely helpful.

Fantastic hotel and service. Visiting with our daughter this time, the staff went out of their way to help us. The facilities were great. Only negative was the policy that you can’t take drinks up to your room. With a baby going down early, we were cheap all inclusive guests but would have loved to pop down to the bar and bring a drink back for the evening.

El hotel es maravilloso, con unas instalaciones de un hotel de 5 estrellas. Estamos muy contentos y queremos dar las gracias a todo el personal del hotel en general, desde limpieza, bufet, restaurante, jardín, recepción, piano bar, etc. Solicitamos una habitación en las plantas mas altas posibles y nos dieron una superior a la que reservamos. Nos regalaron una botella de cava en la habitación, todo el minibar, un día en el spa y una cena en el restaurante el Volcán, increíble. Además teníamos media pensión porque queríamos visitar la isla y al segundo día nos ofrecieron todo incluido también gratis. La verdad que parecía que nos hubiera tocado la lotería. Tenemos que agradecer personalmente a María, no recuerdo su segundo nombre pero es italiana, de relaciones públicas por su atención y simpatía. A Yaiza de recepción por su atención y paciencia. A todo el personal del bufet tanto camareros como cocina por su interés en ayudar y proporcionar cualquier cosa que se le preguntara o pidiera y sobre todo a Héctor, el maitre, por dirigirlos, coordinarlos y ayudarles en todo momento y por su atención hacia nosotros. El hotel es H10 Rubicón y realmente es de 10, por todas las instalaciones pero sobre todo por su personal. Volveremos seguro. Gracias por todo

The hotel welcome was a lovely touch with complimentary access to some of the amenities which was nice. The sea front location and hotel grounds were amazing with enough pools and sun loungers which was good and avoided the rush of people running to reserve them like to see in other hotels, plenty activities to do around the hotel. All in all, had a really good holiday, the only point which need improving is on the food, although good a varied with plenty options, it was not always seasoned and got repetitive.

We have stayed at a H10 hotel before and really liked so it was a no brainer. This hotel kept up the excellent experience and did not disappoint at all - it was a super nice, comfortable, chilled, always with good service/friendly staff. Depending on your point of view it's a little out of the way but there was local transport. We did not use as we hired a car.

Amazing family stay. Entertainment for kids and adults was on throughout the day and night. Staff were friendly. Food options included plenty of variety. Lots of different pools, only point would be to request that an additional pool is heated during winter months as the bigger ones weren’t used a much. Spa was lovely, games rooms kept the children busy. Room was as you’d expect, a little extra wardrobe space would be good. Quiet spot location wise, roughly 30 min walk (enjoyable along the coastal path) to the sandy beach and shops at a slowish pace. Would highly recommend as a Christmas / New Years break

It’s a beautiful resort . Issue for me was that I made the mistake of booking a resort when I did not use it! Location not great when traveling around to see and do things . Had to drive out for dinner - on sit restaurants too expensive And room was soooo far from reception as well as from parked car . Was also very cold when there- no heat and draft coming in from the door. I am sure if you plan to stay there and not go on excursions the experience may be better

The hotel welcome was a lovely touch with complimentary access to some of the amenities which was nice. The sea front location and hotel grounds were amazing with enough pools and sun loungers which was good and avoided the rush of people running to reserve them like to see in other hotels, plenty activities to do around the hotel. All in all, had a really good holiday, the only point which need improving is on the food, although good a varied with plenty options, it was not always seasoned and got repetitive.

The food options were not as expected. The staff were very quick to clear up and not a good experience. We had to inform reception to ensure the minibar was stocked, this should have been done and checked prior to stating the room is ready. The voucher we were given for the Bottle of Chava, we had to ask the Restaurant (El Valcano) twice to provide a bottle. Not a good experience. Service in the Piano bar was very poor. And not enough staff. Had to wait over 40mins to be served. As privilege customer the self service area provided was not a privilege, this area was not worth the extra cost we had paid. On the positive, the Sakura restuarant was very good.

We stayed for a week and upgraded to privilege (which i would recommend) the majority of staff were fantastic and very helpful. Food was very good with plenty of choice for an all inclusive. The problem we did have was booking specialty restaurants and the choice wasn't great. They book up very quickly. But both the steak and Italian were good. Sports bar was limited opening hours, which was disappointing when there was football on. On another positive the manager of the vulcan was superb and very friendly. Bruno in the piano bar was also excellent. Very attentive. I would definitely recommend but only with privilege

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. However what the “Hotel / Resort” has to offer was not what we expected. Food available was terrible, forget about trying to book a dinner reservation as it’s fully booked by the time you get there, but trust me you’re not missing anything great! The bar, prepares horrible drinks, they should invest in getting their entire bar staff trained to make ANY drink the guest requests. As we asks for drinks that were not part of their menu and they said NO we are unable to prepare them. We are very thankful we only did “half board”. The air conditioning in the rooms was deplorable as well. Rooms were hot to be able to sleep comfortably. I was glad to have brought portable fans as we had to use them at night in order to sleep ok. Pool area, was a turn off as well. They don’t have enough loungers for everyone. You have to be up super early to go and grab one otherwise you’re out of luck. No live music during the day to get a nice pool atmosphere, nothing. Overall this is more like a 2 start facility. I’ll be polite about the rating. I will not be a returning guest.

The hotel was very beautiful. Worth to update to the superior room. We had the most amazing view. The only criticism is that during meals, lunch and dinner, the drinks take a bit too long to come. Sometimes you wait for the entirety of your meal. Everything else was perfect.

El hotel, comparado con otros de la zona, no corresponde con la categoría de 5 estrellas. El precio es muy elevado en relación con los servicios. La calidad de la comida en los restaurantes no temáticos es muy baja y el servicio y la limpieza en el comedor dejan mucho que desear. En la cena pedimos una botella de vino y nos lo trajeron caliente. La cama es algo dura y el baño de la habitación huele mal. En la barra de la Disco solo había un camarero y tienes que hacer una cola de 15 a 20 minutos para que te sirvan una copa, además de que no tienen variedad de marcas de bebidas alcohólicas.

Fantástico resort para disfrutar tanto en familia como en pareja. Habitaciones muy cuidadas, limpia y una atención del personal de 10. Si vas con niños cuentas con múltiples actividades, como piscina con barco pirata y toboganes, mini golf, mini disco, etc. Se disfruta mucho más si vas en media pensión o, por supuesto, todo incluido. Tiene un parking muy amplio justo en la entrada. Muy muy recomendable.

Zimmer sehr gut, Personal sehr freundlich. Schöner pool, gepflegte Anlage. Sehr reichhaltiges Essensangebot, Frühstück sehr gut, große Auswahl auch beim Abendessen, geschmacklich eher durchschnittlich. Im großen Speisesaal ist es extrem laut - es gibt ein paar Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Die Anlage ist riesig, entsprechend viele Gäste. Allerdings dafür erstaunlich ruhig. Wer sowas mag ist dort gut aufgehoben, ich bevorzuge etwas kleinere Unterkünfte.

Overall a very mixed experience. The room location was superb, right on the sea front with an amazing view and patio. Also very private. The room and bathroom was also very nice (we upgraded to superior) and the room was mostly kept clean and tidy, although on a couple of days there was a failure to replenish tea/ coffee etc. Also towels just dumped on the bed not in the bathroom and bed not turned down. Could not fault any of the staff: all were lovely, accommodating and friendly. The Spa area and gym were what had drawn us to the hotel. You need to pay extra for the sauna 20 euro pp on each entry. Gym is free. The gym is okay, rather small. The Spa is mostly very nice. Could be cleaner in some areas and the jacuzzi is COLD. Also it's unpoliced, so we witnessed some quite inappropriate behaviour occurring in there. We did not use the themed restaurants so cannot comment on those. The buffet food was excellent. A good variety and fresh. The Bistro Bar was a real let down. Food rubbish. The Sports Bar was a joke. It opened at 8pm every night (even when the 6 Nations rugby was playing over the weekend) was grubby looking, dim and dreary. We were all inclusive and although we're not big drinkers in our opinion the alcohol was very watered down. Towards the end of our stay the hotel got extremely busy and they were unable to cope with the volume of guests. There were massive queues for the bar and buffet. Overall we will not be returning.

The quality and variety of the buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. The property was very well maintained and the gardens and pool areas were pleasant to spend time in. All staff very friendly and helpful, and very attentive in the restaurant.
