Good sized rooms with comfortable beds. Very clean. Breakfast okay with reasonable choice. Handy for night stop en route between New Orleans and Texas. Negatives were that pool was full of algae so couldn’t use it and door to fitness centre was broken so this wasn’t accessible.

People are allowed to loiter about the parking lot. No parking available, had to park at adjacent business. Very concerned about the Sri of my vehicle. Bath/ shower water was barely warm.

Their business center was empty, no equipment or anything, my room was not properly sanitized between guests, I pulled the shower curtain closed and found a used face cloth dried on the shower curtain. That told me two things, the housekeeping inspector did not do their job and the shower curtains are not changed between guests. They also had internet problems, and I had to speak with their IT person to get access to the wifi.

Walked into a room and was immediately greeted by a smell of Mildew and Ammonia. Sprayed an air freshener to get the scent a to a tolerable level. After driving 7hrs, I didn’t have the energy to fuss about it. Upstairs guest seemingly were having band practice between the yelling and the constant stomping on the floor. Entered the restroom and was greeting by Bugs (micro-Beetle shaped) around the tub and toilet. Both dead and alive. Immediately walked out of the room got back into my truck to find another room elsewhere. Not to mention walked past the front desk and the attendant was gone. I even waited in the parking area to see if he’d reappear and that didn’t happen for 15mins. Basically booked and paid for the room ahead of time just to end up getting a room at a Double Tree Hilton 10 mins away. Definitely a waste of money, time and expectations. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The carpets were really dirty. The hotel smelled bad. The rooms were very musty. We had two rooms, and one was missing a chair and lamp, and the fire alarm had been ripped from the wall. The continental breakfast was lackluster, but the hotel staff were very nice. The beds were comfortable.

Do not choose to stay at this property. The rooms smell of mildew and mold. The cleanliness was nonexistent here. My wife and I found two cockroaches in the matter of five minutes of entering our room. We refused to stay there and got our reservation refunded through Hotels.com. The room appeared not to be cleaned by staff. We found trash and debris throughout the room, bathroom & bed. The front desk representative at this location did not answer the phone multiple times when we’re trying to file our claim through hotels.com for a refund and then tried to claim our experience at the hotel was not true. I can’t say enough negative things about this specific property. Please do not book! There is a fairly new Holiday Inn near Scott that was incredibly better, newer & more accommodating.

It was an okay stay, everything we needed for a stay was there. Clean bed, but that’s the only thing clean about it. The floors were filthy. Especially the bathroom: hair and dirt. The beds were comfortable, but the ac made a noise all night. Very sketchy area, if I would have known there was a run down motel next door I would have not booked there. My friend was in another room and there was still food in the microwave from the previous guest. They found a roach on their floor. Would I book again, no probably not.

We will not be back!!!! There was a roach running around on the cabinet top!! there was a big area of water in the air condition area and in front of the refrigerator! The bathtub was stained!! The toilet did not flush well!! There were pin holes in the shade!! The other Best Westerns we go to (and there are several - we are a platinum member!) have complimentary bags in the closet for dirty clothes, etc.! The is absolutely the worst Best Western we have stayed in!!!

Our room appeared clean, but didn’t have bath towels, or any bar soap. The shampoo and body wash containers in the shower were empty. There was a dirty towel hanging in the closet. On the second day,full trash cans were left in the room. A couple of bath towels were taken out, but not replaced. The reception staff was friendly, but housekeeping needs improvement!

This place was so loud with slamming door, screaming people and just people talking next door all night. The walls are so thin and the doors slam behind you. Do not expect to get sleep at this hotel. Breakfast was microwaved eggs and French toast sticks. The staff was very friendly

Everyone was truly kind and helpful. My friend got lost on the way to the hotel and one of their employees actually got in her car and went to rescue my friend! It was wonderful. I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Staff were great! Room and hotel were very clean and comfortable! Only downside were dogs howling and barking in rooms next to us and no one answered when we called front desk.

We booked a one night stay at this property. On the same night they booked a youth football team. This property allowed 7-8 young preteen boys to stay in each room, while putting their adult supervisors in other rooms at the other end of the hotel. Then they put our room right in the middle of the kids. The hotel completely lost control of this group. The kids were up all night running through the halls, slamming doors, knocking on other doors then running away. We asked them numerous times to stop but was ignored. Meanwhile the groups adult “supervisors” were out in the parking lot drinking and smoking pot. We attempted to talk to their group leader, but he was too high to truly understand what we were trying to say. This was going on until 3am! Despite multiple complaints to the front desk, the hotel didn’t do a thing to contain these guests. A hotel has an obligation to its other guests to maintain order and safety and at no time did this hotel attempt to do this. No other guest at this hotel got any sleep that night and absolutely did not get their moneys worth on their stay. Absolute chaos that should have been controlled had there been some sort of plan or procedure in place to control such situations and/or security on site. I have stayed at hotels all over the world, this is the worst experience I have had in 60 years.

When I came into the hotel and asked Mr Ron at the front desk if they had any rooms available he said no they were completely booked up. I went on Expedia on my phone and saw they had plenty rooms available. I made my reservation online through Expedia and Mr. Ron then checked me in. Mr Ron was flat out dishonest.

The property was clean and nice, and I would stay again. The desk staff was friendly. BUT - My chief complaint is that I was there for 3 nights and never saw housekeeping a single time (even though I mentioned it to them twice); therefore, I had to fetch my own supplies every day (towels, garbage bags, etc.). The second issue was the main lobby front door broke, so we had to try to force it open each time, which wasn't easy from the outside. The property was clean and nice, and I would stay again. The desk staff was friendly. BUT - My chief complaint is that I was there for 3 nights and never saw housekeeping a single time (even though I mentioned it to them twice); therefore, I had to fetch my own supplies every day (towels, garbage bags, etc.). The second issue was the main lobby front door broke, so we had to try to force it open each time, which wasn't easy from the outside. People are allowed to loiter about the parking lot. No parking available, had to park at adjacent business. Very concerned about the Sri of my vehicle. Bath/ shower water was barely warm.

Located next door to a very trashy hotel and in a sketchy part of Lafayette. I had to go to the front desk 5 times to have my room key reprogrammed. Five times. Not a great experience after traveling and just wanted to relax. Area was so sketchy I had to unload the entire back of my truck. Pick a different hotel or better city

The hotel is off a side street that had people loitering around the property. The bed had hair in it and the breakfast was sub par. I would highly suggest that the hotel do better with breakfast and clean up the outside appearance.

Good sized rooms with comfortable beds. Very clean. Breakfast okay with reasonable choice. Handy for night stop en route between New Orleans and Texas. Negatives were that pool was full of algae so couldn’t use it and door to fitness centre was broken so this wasn’t accessible.

I felt the room was nice and clean. I appreciate enough pillows and blankets on a hotel bed, and this hotel had both. Big tv! I liked it. The breakfast wasn’t nothing to brag about but it was something. I chose to only have coffee.

The room overall was clean and well updated. Bathroom was nicely updated too. The room we were in had dirty walls and an air conditioner from the Reagan administration (that looked rather dirty inside and out). The worst thing though was the smell! The lobby was nice, but the second floor smelled like mildew, dirty funk, and marijuana. The room smelled less like weed but still gross and funky. I had to get some febreze just to make it through the night. The staff was excellent, super helpful and friendly. Couldn't have been better, nothing against them at all. And the lobby is really nice.

The first room I was given had no wash clothes and the fridge didn't cool. The second room actually had wash clothes and the fridge worked but there was trash left over from the previous occupant. I had to ask for towels and wash clothes every day. When I requested a refresh of the room it didn't happen. When I commented that it didn't happen the staff at the desk said it would happen the next day. The cleaning staff missed a lot of stuff. No toilet paper, no bags for the ice bucket, no replacement of coffee cups, no wash clothes and no floor mat.

Other than that the staff were short handed and seem like one person doing everything and that was good.They would run out of breakfast and it took awhile before it was filled back up. But overall I enjoyed my stay. I fill that you needed more staff.
