I loved our first stay here. I absolutely love the hot tub and family friendly pools. The side bar was so nice and convenient being next to the pools. We felt the bed was so comfortable and didn't want to even get up, but we had to check out. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Room was clean, all appliances worked properly. Unfortunately the jetted tub shot water onto the wall and onto the floor. Room 909. Semi outdoor pool was clean and warm. Staff was friendly.

Very friendly staff. Easy unloading and loading area. Easy Complimentary parking in property garage across the street. Complimentary Putt-Putt Golf on Property. The King Studio is very large—full kitchen and big bathroom. Had washer and dryer in the unit. Small balcony, but side ocean view. Decent pool area and easy access to the beach. Clean and quiet. Will stay again if in Myrtle Beach.

Anderson was a nice place. Only con was the parking garage was a little ways away. They had Valet parking but it cost $30/ per day plus tipping the valets. Maybe charge $10/ per day and then tip the valets.

Overall beautiful clean hotel. I don’t think we were put in a “up to date” room as I’ve seen on some videos but the room was still very clean for what it was. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The washing machine was broken, they immediately came within 5min to fix it. Staff member (Brittney) checked on us throughout the 3 day stay. The pools and hot tubs were some of the cleanest that we have used while staying at MB. Definitely top hotel stays and would absolutely stay again!

The property is directly on the water, which can't be beat. There is also a mini golf course across the street which is included with your stay. There are several pools and a lazy river which is really nice and allows for options. The spa was also wonderful! This is definitely a dated property. I also wish the pools were facing the ocean and not the wall of the hotel.

Here's a short review for the Anderson Ocean Club Hotel: My recent stay at the Anderson Ocean Club Hotel was a mixed experience. Upon checking in, I was initially disappointed with my room; the carpet appeared dirty and the table surfaces were noticeably unclean. I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, who promptly and courteously moved me to a much-improved room, which I appreciated. However, the next day, a request for fresh towels went unfulfilled, and after a considerable wait, I ended up having to retrieve them myself. The hotel is in a great location and the beach and hot tub are wonderful. The room needs some updating. The shower has popcorn ceiling that are peeling and dropping at any given time. The carpet is smelly and needs to be cleaned. The place needs some TLC.

The location was great, easy access to the beach. The staff communicated well through text messaging. The room was nice but we found empty cans and an old pizza slice under the bed. The front desk had us naked out of our room before we said we were out so had multiple cleaning staff members walk in while we were still there.

We have stayed here three different times over the past 12 years. It is starting to show its age a bit, but is still a nice hotel. Our room could have been cleaned better. The pillows on the easy chairs were discolored from what appeared to be age/dirt. The beach and pool area was very nice. Overall, our room was quiet, the AC worked great, and we had an enjoyable experience. The front desk staff was very attentive and check in and check out were quick and easy!

The room was outdated, walls with huge spots on them, chipped paint, pets destroyed closet. The bathroom was disgusting, with blood on the back of the toilet. Five different types of hair throughout the room, on the floor and in the “clean” towels. Dust was everywhere. We only stayed for one night.

The beach access and view are excellent. The staff was very friendly. The only problem was the carpets throughout the room. I was totally disappointed with the upkeep of those. They were dirty with spots throughout.

The room was wonderful! The balcony with ocean view was great! Loved the area so close to everything I wanted to do!! On fallback was the pull out couch was awful. The mattress was so thin you could not sleep on it! You could feel the springs! It should not be sold as an extra bed!!

Pros: Great location Good pools Easy check in Super easy walk to beach since the hotel is right on the beach Great for kids Pool bar Rooms are nice Cons: Walls are very thin, heard people in hallway every morning and felt the thumps of people closing doors and doing things next door, housekeeping people are very noisy in the morning (not a deal breaker) Parking is tight in the parking garage that's located across the street. They do offer valet (if you like). They don't offer late checkout (if you need it) Again, not deal breakers, we had a wonderful time.

This was our first time staying at the Anderson Ocean and Beach Club. We really like the air conditioned elevators and the security of needing to scan your room card on the elevator in order to enter the floor you wanted to be taken too. The room was absolutely the nicest we've stayed in yet. We love the full size kitchen with all the appliances provided. We definitely recommend this place and we will be staying there in the future.

Our particular unit had a broken coffee maker and a very uncomfortable and squeaky couch. Ceiling fixtures were missing multiple bulbs; one was missing a fixture globe, and another a dimmer switch knob. The kitchen was short on utensils. But the beds were comfortable and the TVs were nice. I expect more from Hilton.

My room had quite a few issues. Most were minor. The sofa and chairs were very uncomfortable. The 4:00 pm check-in and 10:00 am check-out seems a little extreme. Will not be back.

The overall stay was not bad but the construction on the pier next to the hotel was distracting. The furniture in our room left a bit to be desired. The only lights in the bedroom were on the nightstand. You had to walk into the room in the dark to turn a light on.

Loved the suite but it sure was noisy above & beside us. Heavy doors slam & next floor up kept dropping things on that rattled and there was shouting from the balconies.

Here's a short review for the Anderson Ocean Club Hotel: My recent stay at the Anderson Ocean Club Hotel was a mixed experience. Upon checking in, I was initially disappointed with my room; the carpet appeared dirty and the table surfaces were noticeably unclean. I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, who promptly and courteously moved me to a much-improved room, which I appreciated. However, the next day, a request for fresh towels went unfulfilled, and after a considerable wait, I ended up having to retrieve them myself. It also seemed that the information provided about hotel amenities was inconsistent; I overheard another guest being informed of features I was not told about, suggesting a lack of standardized communication. Overall, the level of customer service felt dependent on the individual staff member rather than a consistent company policy. While some staff were very helpful, the inconsistency detracted from an otherwise pleasant location.

I felt welcomed by the receiving front desk staff. I really liked being able to send a text to the front desk and receive immediate responses. This also includes advising the front desk to have the Valet bring the car around. This is the first hotel/resort I have experienced this. In addition, paying for Valet parking service and have the ability to come and go without additional fees is refreshing.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Anderson beach club and spa. The location was perfect, quiet, beautiful and inviting. I've stayed at this location before and I will continue to do so in the future ( if I can get a rate) going through Expedia was a plus. One of the areas that needed improvement was that housekeeping never came to clean the condo and ww continue to request toiletries and towels.

I was booked from July 5 thru July 12. The location of the property is ideal to major attractions. I thought that the Anderson was a fully Hilton Property. Upon arrival, I discovered that it is not fully a Hilton Property. I was booked in a room that had an independent owner and consequently, the room was not updated. The furnishings were mediocre at best. I asked for an updated room, accommodation could not be made. I had several issues with the room and when I contacted management via the text application feature, I received word that someone would contact me. No one contacted me. The next day, I went to the front desk to address the matter again. Again, I was told that someone would come to my room to address the matter. Again, no one came. I called downstairs to have coffee restocked. I was told someone would bring it up. I'm still waiting on the coffee. The housekeeping staff that serviced the 19th floor were rude and appeared like any request was bothering them. When I asked to have my room serviced, I was told that my room was serviced the day before, that was not true. I had to explain that no one had come to do anything to the room. They finally came on day 3. The exterior grounds could certainly use some attention. Mulch was old and needed to be replaced, exterior trash cans were overflowing. The day of checkout, we had no water and the elevators were not working. Thid is the last time that I will stay at the property.

Had a beautiful stay! Staff was amazing, friendly and even took time to help with vending machine when took money and didn’t vend. Beach view was everything. Our 2nd visit and will not be the last.

There was an issue with the check in area and you had to park on the curb. Not much help with check in and luggage. Kept being told our room was not ready even after check in time, as other people were walking in and getting in their rooms.

The hotel was wonderful. We had a great room, and it was spacious. It was right on the beach, and the view was wonderful. It was within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions, and the hotel gave us a flyer that gave us great deals on the attractions we wanted to go to.

We loved being right on the beach and the view of our private balcony. It was nice having a pool and jacuzzi. The staff was nice. I liked the shave ice. The bedroom was big. We didn’t care for all the construction and caution tape and cones everywhere. I was disappointed in the lazy river. It was pretty small. Not hotels fault but the construction on the pier was very loud and took away from our relaxing vacation. However, overall we did have a good time especially walking to the boardwalk and restaurants.

Anderson was a nice place. Only con was the parking garage was a little ways away. They had Valet parking but it cost $30/ per day plus tipping the valets. Maybe charge $10/ per day and then tip the valets.

We had a wonderful stay and experience at Anderson. Check-in was so smooth and they assigned preferred room as requested despite being a busy day. Easy access to beach, hot tub and well maintained outdoor pools. Property is close to great restaurants viz. sea captains etc., Parking is across the street but they have valet service. I’ll stay again for my next trip.

The overall stay was not bad but the construction on the pier next to the hotel was distracting. The furniture in our room left a bit to be desired. The only lights in the bedroom were on the nightstand. You had to walk into the room in the dark to turn a light on.

Seems like the pools dont get cleaned often, would be nice to see cleaner pools. Would be awesome if they had a bar that served food not just chips, and one day a bar tender said soda was free, the next the girl said no there not. Consistency would be nice! Also we only had our room cleaned 1 time out of 8 days. I would have thought we would have been called to see if we needed more towels or anything for that matter. Seeing the young boys on the pool grounds sit on their phones for over 30 min is disturbing. the gentelman that is older with glasses was awesome at keeping pool towels stocked and on top of everything, these other boys would just pull up a chair and sit on there phones, and then yall charge an arm and leg for Valet parking, when you have workers sitting around. Will I stay again probably, but hopefully some of these are fixed next time.

Overall it was a nice stay. Staff was amazing and was able to fulfill a request in the middle of a busy time of year. Parking was easy enough in the garage across the street for free or you can use the valet service for $30/night. Check in was smooth and got a few free ticket offer things. One being mini golf across the street that is only good before 7pm which would've been nice to know before we went, but not a huge deal. I'm sure it's inexpensive but given the options in the area, if I were to pay for mini golf it'd be one of the better ones. The room was tidy and had fresh sheets and all but really could use a deep clean for things like rusty bifold doors and dingey greenish caulk in the bathroom where you'd expect it. Water pressure left a lot to be desired but it was plenty hot enough. And a spot on the ceiling in the room about a foot square had the popcorn texture falling off onto our stuff when we walked in. Which staff offered to come address that and the water pressure so again I'd like to point out the staff was great. Our room was on the south side of the building and had a good view of the beach and also the road for good people watching. We didn't swim or use any of the amenities but we did go through the pool area and it seemed nice enough. The bar was just ok. And they auto add 20% to all tabs which is fine but not super noticeable. I'd probably choose a different location next time but it was overall a nice stay.

Upon arrival we realized there wasn't any onsite parking but a garage a block over was offered as well as valet. Check it was easy, I didn't receive a warm welcome but as the checkin process went on the front desk clerks warmed up and chatted a little. The elevator was very accessible from the drive through valet/15 minute parking spot. Our room was very large offering a full kitchen, large bedroom, bathroom, living area with dining table and a balcony. The bed was comfy. The kitchen and appliances were all very clean! The couch seemed outdated but we used it as a bed for our kids and just covered with sheets. The tv was not smart but they give you a dvd rental for downstairs. You could bring a firestick to have more options. The floors felt dirty and almost greasy but we just wore socks. The partial view to the ocean was perfect because we also got a view of the town. The pools looked old but we used the 1' toddler pool and the hot tub and enjoyed the towels availble. The close and quick access to the beach was nice, in no time our toes were in the sand. Oh yes and the washer and dryer was a nice surprise!

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. I would have liked if there was a full restaurant on site for dinner. Also, the floor of the room did not look dirty, but noticed after walking around some that our socks were filthy from the floor, so we ended up keeping our shoes on until we were in bed. The view from the balcony of the ocean was beautiful and the beach being a short walk from the elevator made it well worth it.
Overall I enjoyed my stay here. I would have liked if there was a full restaurant on site for dinner. Room was good but the hot water took FOREVER to get hot. I was on the 17th floor. Check out time is wayyyy too early. 10AM? And I could not receive a late check out because they don't allow late check-outs on the weekend. So, that NO LATE CHECK OUT thing might be a deal-breaker for me. Would have loved if they had a restaurant on site. The coffee bar is VERY limited. The bright side is the room was clean and quiet.

Great 1-bedroom codo-style with beachfront balcony, well-appointed, staff is very friendly and the valet are excellent. I enjoy the off-season rates but would be nice if there were a restaurant on-site.

This hotel was a blunder. There was no lobby upon checking in, and if you want to get to the pool area, you have to cross unsafe traffic. The room we had been assigned was severly outdated; with several locks, lights, and matresses not working properly or being uncomfortable. There was additionally no dining whatsover; in or around the establishment. Although the price is good, I will not be staying here again.

Mariel is such a jewel! I'm so glad she's moved up over the years, as hers was earned and not given. I was just a little shocked that she didn't remember me lol. But I guess with seeing thousands during the times of my stay, she can't remember all of us. And, maybe I didn't make a good enough impression. Oh well, either way. Wished we could say that about the rest of the staff. A lot of the staff this trip were not friendly, acted like they had a chip on their shoulder.

There was an awful amount of dust clinging to the ceiling texture from a filthy HVAC system. Inspection of the duct work revealed the source as it was filthy. Chair had dirty arms. Light in the kitchen wasn't working. Cable plug for the TV needs fixed. Furniture had lots of nicks and dings. Probably should have replaced the furniture a year ago. There really is no excuse for blatant obvious issues.
