FairBridge Inn and Suites West Point

The FairBridge Inn is a short drive from downtown and West Point, though not walking distance. It's a great place to stay when visiting the garrison. It's not fancy, but the service is great, parking is easy and well-lit, and the staff were attentive esspecially when the city's power went out.

Parking is easy if you have a car and an easy check in. Staff is friendly and we’re really helpful during a stressful time traveling. My stay plans had changed and they were very helpful in giving me my refund for half the stay I was there. There is no breakfast and if your someone who likes to DoorDash or uber eats this is not the location for you I would like to make this VERY clear. You will be frustrated so please don’t bother trying they don’t have a lot of dashers within their area but they have a beautiful C town grocery store up the road and a gas station for all your small needs. Overall a great spot if your upstate and need a quick stay as well as a beautiful escape into the the mountains with a very clean and modern high rise ceiling room to keep you warm and cozy at night. Will absolutely come back if I need a quick stay upstate!

Unfortunately the parking lot was a disaster. This had nothing to do with management, but rather the weather. Sink holes throughout the parking lot. The room needed a thorough cleaning. Further the room had an odor.

The front desk people were very nice….very friendly, but that was the only good thing. The property and room were terrible, nothing like the pictures. Beds were uncomfortable, shower was terrible, room was old and in poor condition. Everything was cheap. There are zero amenities…..none. Parking lot was all torn up and the door to the room didn’t work properly.

The room rate and the location were very good. The rooms need to be redone, and so does the parking lot, I was on a motorcycle, and the parking lot had a lot of gravel in it, which made it a little dangerous.

Less expensive than other places. Storm damage limited parking and amenities. Onsite supervisor was very friendly and helpful.

Once we got to the room there was bugs on the curtains and wet stains on the bedding . We did not stay there that night , asked for a refund and got told no .

The front desk staff was amazing. However the "premium" rooms were half-done remodels of the very old rooms. The remodeled bath/shower combo only went halfway up and then the old pink tile was still on the wall with small bits of mold. The heater/AC unit was filthy and covered in mold and dust. You could smell mildew when you turned the heat on.

Room was rough and dirty, bathroom had rust and grime along sink and shower, if wasn’t so late at night when we got in to town for a funeral the next morning we would have gone elsewhere

The place is a dump. I paid for two nights but left because the room was so bad. There were stains, rust, the door chain was missing, very dirty floors. Three different kinds of flooring across the room.

The gentleman running the property was fine; the property itself is not nice. We were originally given a room down a dark hallway by a staff member that didn’t even greet us but just left the door ajar when the property manager yelled across the property to open our room for us. The beds had bugs in them and there were bugs (large ants?) crawling on the floor. The room smelled like smoke. It was such a bizzare and poorly maintained space- I have never seen anything quite like it. I tried calling the property manager but the phone (along with other things) did not work. We walked to the front office and asked for a different room; the property manager was helpful and did give us a different room. The next room was simpler, clean but still pretty low quality. Any kind of movement in the bed caused it to squeak, so we didn’t get much sleep. The small dorm-refrigerator was extremely loud when the coolant kicked in, so if we did manage to fall asleep, we were jarred awake by the noise. If we had managed to check in earlier in the day, I certainly would not have stayed here. It depends on your expectations, but I wouldn’t recommend this inn. I also wouldn’t refer to it as an inn as it is essentially a motel.

My daughter and I spent one night at Fairbridge Inn & Suites at West Point. The staff was friendly and polite. Our room was clean and cool. The room and property are a little dated but it was clean and comfortable.

I would strongly suggest not going there. It was absolutely full. The sheets had mouse poop and droppings all over the room reeked of cigarettes. The dust on the lamps wais a mile high the table was still dirty and sticky. The pictures on the websiteare nothing what you will find. The coffee pot was filthy, but the mouse droppings and cigarette smoke were more than I could handle the door and lock properly. There was no inside lock. It was removed. Don’t go there.

The hotel room was very dirty. There was hair all over the toilet and shower. Also, outside of our room was a dumpster, completely overflowing with trash, trash all on the ground and all near our room. Very overpriced there wasn’t even a bathtub in the room. It was more like a prison shower. I would not recommend anybody staying here.

Its a little overpriced like everything in the area. But its fine for what it is. I had to unplug the loud fridge.

Unbelievably dissatisfied Hotel room bed was rock hard , no room service for overnight (stayed 2 nights). Hot water was like warm both days. Handle was broken on door. Very hard to exit Price gauging at its finest for the USMA GRADUATION weekend 500 a night. Now it’s 160 for this weekend.

Yikes! This property needs updating. There were four different kinds of flooring in our double queen room. They did update the shower head and tub walls but everything else was very outdated and not in good condition (rusty). I would not stay here again unless I had no other options. There was a gap under the door so we had a few ants/bugs in our room. Overall it seemed clean but the initial appearance of things was disappointing.

both beds were VERY OLD! One was squeaky. Bathroom SOOOOOOOOOOO old! the entire place is just run down. Pics on line deceptive. never again!

Spacious room, fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Close to West point.

The room was fine. No frills. We could hear people coming and going from the walkway outside the door. There was little to no water pressure in the shower, but the water was hot.

Property is dated and old, but kept clean. WiFi connection is intermittent and weak.

“Updates” were done poorly. Doors had major gaps. Very loud.

I’ve stayed here several times because it’s the most economical place in close proximity to West Point. Although the check in staff is nice enough, this is the second time I was not able to get a hot shower. Seems like it’s set to a temp that is just bearable enough for a quick rinse. The room was dim and the bathroom door didn’t latch at all. The beds were comfy but not being able to get a hot shower after being put in the cold all day is disappointing

The room was nice and clean. The staff were very nice and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting West Point.

We appreciated their after hours check in procedures. Very easy and glad to walk into a room with the heat already on during a cold November night. That showed good hospitality!

Office is closed at night

Place was a dump. Had caution tape surrounding the office when we pulled up at 10.pm. No one was in office my key was left in mailbox and there was no one to communicate with the entire time there. A straight dump. Can’t believe it’s open

The hotel was a bit run-down, but it was comfortable. The staff - both the evening guy and the morning guy - were LOVELY. For a short stay, it was more than adequate.

We got locked out at 1 in the morning and there was no staff available to assist us (call for 30 minutes and even call the cops) We had to stay at another motel for the night. In the morning we went to demand a full refund/reimbursement and they were only gonna allow a partial refund until we got a hold of their general manager. It’s ridiculous the lack of accountability the staff had (blaming on us for the key malfunction and stating they were on site). Would not recommend staying here at all.

The hotel manager was extremely kind and accommodating. He went way out of his way to help me.

The clerk was talking on his cellphone while he was checking me in. That is tremendously rude, and unprofessional.

Very dirty, desk manager was friendly but not helpful about resolving my error in my reservation and I got charged twice.

We spent two night while visiting our cadet at West Point. It’s a convenient location, minutes from base. Beds are comfortable and there is a small fridge and microwave. Iron and iron board too. No frills motel hence more economical . We are only there to sleep.

I stayed here for just one night and found it to be exactly what I needed—clean, affordable, and well-located. While the accommodations are simple and not fancy, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was excellent for the area. If you’re looking for a basic place to rest for the night, this is a solid option.

The location was not quite as close as the ad said. 2.5 miles from west point is not a 7 minute walk. For $500. they could have offered breakfast and upscale the unit.

No breakfast, no tissues, room smelled

First of all, most of the prior reviews were right. It is to expensive for what they offer. The place was relatively clean. No toiletries, but toilet paper and towels. The beds were not comfortable at all. For $172.00 a night, and not even include toiletries or breakfast!!? Way to much. My family and I, have being in another Fairfield hotels before, but comparing, this one was the worse.
