Clean room, comfortable bed. Convenient and charming location. Town has great dining options a short walk away. Excellent customer service by the nice couple at the front desk. The ability to park in front of my room was great for peace of mind over vehicle security (big thing for me), though break-ins almost never happen at this hotel. AC unit was loud (bring earplugs if staying during warm weather) and the bathroom sink didn't drain well. Thumbs up overall. I'll book here again if staying in the Bridgeport area.

Very comfortable stay. The owners were very friendly and made the checkin process easy and friendly. We brought our dog, and the room was nice for a dog (no extra charge for pets). They have a large gated grassy area that is great for dogs to run around.

Good facilities and you could tell there is a strong effort to keep the property nice and clean. My room was clean and well-appointed. They place a $50 hold on your credit card for incidentals and property damage but did not as quickly remove it in the morning when I asked.

This is an older hotel and feels like you're stepping back in time! It's very cool! That being said, the carpet on the bed frames threw me off as I am always concerned about possible bed bugs etc (I did not see anything!). I did find multiple hairs on the sheets/bedding which concerns me. There are not many other options in the area and I would stay here again but some of these clealiness issues are easy to fix.

Old building, so factoring for that, it was in ok shape. I stayed 2 days and killed a half dozen flies a day. In a room that smelled like pina colada potpourri. The bathroom sink drained slowly as did the bathtub resulting in a knee deep bath along with your shower. I would say its not worth the money but it might be the most expensive little town i have stayed in.

Hotel was nicer than I had expected. Very friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable. It’s an older place in the sierras - not the ritz - very nice for where it is and the cost. Definitely recommend on your way up or down the 395.

Cleanest room ever, smelling so good at arrival, appliances working great (coffee grinder/maker was terrific!), comfortable bed, very quiet friendly and kind owner. Only minus, wifi speed was very poor, but i used only once and maybe was a temporary issue. Will definitely go back

Lovely town, very nice place run by family that has owned it for forty years. Personal touches, like the bathroom looked lovely because the towels and paper products were lovingly arranged into floral figures. Quiet.

Very good service, room was very cozy and quaint, as was the rest of the hotel. Nestled in the mountains it had fantastic views. I was stopping in for the night on the way to Mammoth so location was very convenient. Would love to come back again in the summer.

I have used the Ruby Inn as my place to stay in the Bridgeport area. It is far superior to other places in Bridgeport that I stayed at a few years ago. Staff is friendly and seem to remember me from previous visits. Amenities are modest but meet my needs completely.

Ruby Inn is a classic American motel on the main road of Bridgeport, CA. The interior were aged but well kept and clean, a great place to relax the bones after a long road trip and enjoy your next day adventure. The location was perfect to enjoy what the region has to offer. We just walked to yuchje close Bridgeport Inn (historical place) for an amazing steak, had breakfast at the local bakery. We had a wonderful time!
