I was worried at check in. The outside appearance worried me. But once we got in our room it was fine. It was clean. Everything worked. The bed was comfy. It was quiet. It’s got a Waffle House almost across the street. Not bad. Not bad at all.

The air conditioner worked well, the shower was hot, and the room was spotless. I have stayed here before and I was pleased to see that he Inn had been refreshed since then. I left before breakfast service so I can't comment on that. The grass and grounds were well-maintained, always a plus when traveling with my small dog. My only complaint was the loud TV and neighbors next door. All in all, this Days Inn location is a good budget hotel, not fancy but carefully maintained.

Didn't even end up staying. Place was so disgusting and dirty we checked in got food, checked out the room and ended up leaving. The bedding had stains, smelt, and had holes in it. The floor was sticky, the fridge was dirty. The chain lock was broken and there was a huge gap in the top of the door so you could see outside. Wont let me add photo but i did take a few.

Dont recommend staying here. We boooked the hotel when we realized we were going to be too tired to make it to our destination. We checked in at 1am and immediately our room smelled terrible but we only need a few hours of sleep. Woke up in the morning to find MOLD in our room. Do yourself a favor and make the trip elsewhere.

An example of a roadside hotel that is well managed. Very impressed by the attention to detail. The room was immaculately clean, modern and newly renovated, including the bathroom. You could eat off the floors. The property is very unassuming from the outside, but everything in the room was top-notch.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. This place will ultimately make someone sick. There was poop running down the outside of the toilet bowl. A line of crusty dirt under the rim of the sink that was clearly visible to the naked eye. I cannot believe this place hasn’t been shutdown by the health inspectors.

The floors was never Swept or mopped. You take your shoes off your feet would be black on the bottom. Bed was made but the sheets wasnt changed. Didn't sleep ppl up stairs were noisy all through the night.

When I arrived the manager was asleep in a guest chair in the lobby. I don't recall him wearing a name tag or uniform or looking like he worked there. I asked about a military discount and he said because the rooms were rennovated he couldn't do that just now. My room was not renovated and there was no ceiling light just a switch that didn't work. The room was supposed to sleep 5 but there were just 2 full beds and no pullout or other accommodations. I was disappointed overall, definitely not worth the price I paid. Maybe after renovations are complete?

This is an older hotel that Wyndham revamped. Laminated floors, beds had mattresses on top of a metal frame, sheets kept slipping off the mattress, ice bucket didnt have a plastic insert. The breakfast was a waffle maker and that's it. Coffee was lukewarm. Wouldnt stay here again.

The heat didn’t work properly it took a long time for it to actually feel like the heat was on. The bed wasn’t as comfortable then the last bed I stayed in the last time I was there. The hotel is in a convenient location.

We tried to check in to our room after midnight. We were given a smoking room that was disgusting. One of the beds had hairs all in it and stains. There was trash left under the chair. We requested to move rooms, to see if there was a nonsmoking room. We were told there were no remaining rooms left, so we left but were told that I need to speak with the manager (Neely) in the morning for a refund/cancellation. When I called, Neely refused to speak with me and instead I spoke with Nil. Nil told me that the room was clean and refused to admit there was any issue. Nil refuses to refund us any of our money or make it right in anyway. I would NOT recommend this hotel or this service. I would rate this as ZERO stars if I was able to.

I have stayed here several times and I prefer this location out of the other hotels and motels in the area. The staff are very courteous and helpful. They are undergoing renovation and the rooms are nice. You dont have to worry about someone messing with your vehicle because State Troopers as well as the Sheriff Deputies and the Brownsville Police are in the area at all times. Dairy Queen, McDonald's and KFC are in walking distance and Walmart about 5 minutes away. Also its 3 gas stations that are in walking distance if you need to grab a snack.

My room had bed bugs. I woke up to find bugs crawling on the bed. I captured one and took it to the office. The women behind the counter handled the situation appropriately. She apologized and stated the room would be inspected immediately. I checked out and left the premises.

Day staff not friendly, breakfast was terrible, room 2 down from us was a drug room, pot smoke coming from that room was disgusting and the patron came outside in his underwear yelling at us. Not a place to stay with if you have kids.

Because it was the only establishment to be booked because of the event and the limited availability,i booked it. However i pray this is not taken negatively ,yet constructive. Even though the place needs major upgrades it would not be as noticeable if customer service were in place.

Reasonably priced hotel w/ comfortable beds and clean rooms. Was the perfect place to spend an evening while traveling/passing through town. Only fast food restaurants (and a Waffle House--which was all I needed!) w/in walking distance. Free breakfast leaves a lot to be desired; would definitely plan on going somewhere else for a half decent breakfast. Hotel isn't much, but if all you need is a clean bed and shower, it does tha job. Bonus: Tina Turner museum right next door!

You dont have to worry about someone messing with your vehicle because State Troopers as well as the Sheriff Deputies and the Brownsville Police are in the area at all times. Dairy Queen, McDonald's and KFC are in walking distance and Walmart about 5 minutes away. Also its 3 gas stations that are in walking distance if you need to grab a snack.
I have stayed here several times and I prefer this location out of the other hotels and motels in the area. The staff are very courteous and helpful. They are undergoing renovation and the rooms are nice. The heat didn’t work properly it took a long time for it to actually feel like the heat was on. The bed wasn’t as comfortable then the last bed I stayed in the last time I was there. The hotel is in a convenient location.

Day staff not friendly, breakfast was terrible, room 2 down from us was a drug room, pot smoke coming from that room was disgusting and the patron came outside in his underwear yelling at us. Not a place to stay with if you have kids.

I was worried at check in. The outside appearance worried me. But once we got in our room it was fine. It was clean. Everything worked. The bed was comfy. It was quiet. It’s got a Waffle House almost across the street. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Reasonably priced hotel w/ comfortable beds and clean rooms. Was the perfect place to spend an evening while traveling/passing through town. Only fast food restaurants (and a Waffle House--which was all I needed!) w/in walking distance. Free breakfast leaves a lot to be desired; would definitely plan on going somewhere else for a half decent breakfast. Hotel isn't much, but if all you need is a clean bed and shower, it does tha job. Bonus: Tina Turner museum right next door!

This is an older hotel that Wyndham revamped. Laminated floors, beds had mattresses on top of a metal frame, sheets kept slipping off the mattress, ice bucket didnt have a plastic insert. The breakfast was a waffle maker and that's it. Coffee was lukewarm. Wouldnt stay here again.

We picked this because of rating. However, we got bitten by something. I don’t know if bed bugs or fleas, but we were covered in bites. The breakfast was terrible. Stale cereal or a few small wet looking muffins.

The room was dated and in very poor condition. There was no weatherstriping around the door so when it was closed you could see light coming in from all sides. The gap at the bottom of the door was so severe that I had to use a towel to keep bugs from getting in. Upon checkout I stood at the window ringing a battery operated door bell for several minutes and no one came to help me. I went back to the room and put the key on the dresser then left the hotel. I had made reservations to stay there on my return trip but I canceled them and booked a nearby hotel. I would not recommend this property to anyone and I will never stay there in the future.

The hotel was close to the family were visting . But there wasn’t enough Bath towels to go around you had to turn in a towel to receive another.The sink fell in while using it, the bed spread had stains.

This hotel is the kind of place you question whether you should take a shower without shower shoes. The door was warped and there was a big gap where bugs could come in. The breakfast was only raisin bran and stale mini muffins.
