Magnuson Hotel Extended Stay Canton Ohio

Extremely rundown. After a major renovation it would be nice thought. The suites are spacious, would provide a pleasant stay, but the current conditions...ahhh...At least the price is very fair. (and reflects the conditions at the hotel as well).

Partying going on all night outside the rooms. In the whole parking lot. People racing motorcycles around the parking lot. People barely leaving you enough room to park your vehicle. Opening their truck doors into my truck. It was like a Big Hotel parking lot party going on every day. No TV in the bedroom only in the livingroom. Couch had stains on it. Baby food left in the cupboards. No lights in the fridge. Light bulbs missing in almost every room. Definitely could use some remodeling !!! I could go on and on. One of the worst places I've ever stayed in. Thing was everywhere was booked, so I couldn't move anywhere else.

definitely an uncomfortable stay, can’t sleep on the beds because there’s wrappers and trash in the blankets from previous guests. the carpets are caked in dirt and smoke that will ruin your socks and even your shoes. this was the only option we had and it still cost us $180 to stay in a place that is worse than just sleeping on the sidewalk. my skin is crawling just being in here at all.

Nasty dirty eoom and bed as wrll as bathroom

The room was absolutely filthy when we got there I had management come up and I had to clean the toilet had dried urine ,,pubic hairs and the floor had mold on it absolutely disgusting.. The couch was broken down and the curtain rod was held up by black electrical tape the kitchen table was sticky and disgusting

This is the perfect don't judge the book by its cover situation. The location is not the best. Kind of a warehouse district. But the folks who run it are very nice and my apartment/room was very nice and clean. Other than the looks of the location, the proximity to great food, easy shopping was perfect. I had a problem with my door lock and they were very diligent in getting it fixed. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in room for about 5 minutes and left. It was so disgusting. I have seen worse but it was really bad. Not even going to try to get a refund, they can keep the money. Moved down the road to a better accommodation.

Roaches in the bed

They had big Roaches crawling on the walls in the day light.

It’s more like a apartment or townhouse than a hotel I loved the full kitchen and how the bedroom is separated from the living space

The receptionist was was extremely rude and not helpful during check in. Our room door would not lock so we had to get the receptionist to try and figure out why it wasn’t locking. After slamming the door multiple times it didn’t lock and she just gave up and left. She slammed the door so many times that the people above us started yelling at us and we had to explain that it was the receptionist who was slamming the door. We had to put a wood block behind our door so no one would be able to open it. Poor quality hotel.

I was impressed by the unheard traffic noise and the size for the price. The only negative I have is the maintenance issues and some missed items in the kitchen that should have been removed before the next guest.

Older apartment building relabled hotel. Full standard kitchen but no pans, dishes or silverware. I would stay here again and bring my own things for the kitchen.

This was not an hotel it was an actual apartment l.

Reserved and paid for a king room. When I get there I’m told they only have a double bed. Not even queen. Not what I paid for or needed. I would not go back

Love to peace and quiet easy access they were most helpful

We didn’t check in, because we couldn’t. The office was closed when we arrived at 9 pm. We waited in the dark and cold for a full hour, no one showed up or answered any calls. We were left with no place to go!! Talked to a couple of guests at the property. None of them appear happy. They described the place as “backward”, “don’t care”.

We got there at 3:00 p.m. and they told us they were no more rooms available when we already booked it ahead of time like 2 months ago and then I get there and then she had to call the the manager and she acted very rude and we had to get set to go to our concert and I'll have it ready when we leave well when would I leave and go back to the hotel they canceled our reservation and I called the property manager and she suggested I find another room don't bother to go with this hotel don't waste your time and go through the hassle like we did she was too much worried about getting her car fixed she had to go back and get the keys to get in the office and then I had to ask the manager if they could call her when we were on our way back to the hotel and she said well she's not answering so basically I had to call hotel.com and tell them our situation so what they did is they made up for what happened and got us two nights at the Best Western reserve if it wasn't for them our vacation would been totally disaster we didn't know where we were going to stay we were very stressed out

Quick check in. Quiet and close to highway.

Interesting stay in a hotel covered from low end apartments. Within an hour of arrival, a daylight shooting interrupted my plans. Police going door to door, asking questions. When I returned at 11pm, still a large police presence.

It's very quiet but you do have to pay a 50.00 deposit so be aware. But this place is worth it
