Low end if you need one nught quick stay

Breakfast was very good. The space for dining is comfortable. The 24 hour availability of coffee is very good, although we are used to having a coffee maker in our room at other motels. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Nice bed linens. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The one exception was when we had a question when checking out after our first stay. The manager, who was at the desk, had no idea how to tell us how to get to route 17. He said he just started working there. Seems to us that it is incumbent on the manager to know the environs of the lodging, and if not, find out the answer for us.

Deanna, the staffperson at the front desk when we arrived, and later in the evening, was a delight. Upbeat, polite, attentive and helpful! The next day, when we were checking out, the fellow at the front desk, who said he was the manager, had no idea how to direct us to route 17. He said he was new and not familiar with the area.

Screaming children in the hallway in the morning isn't necessarily the fault of the Hotel, but it did wake me at 7 30 AM. Robot coffee machines were not refilled so no coffee available at 9 30 AM.

They were renovating the premises which I understand but I feel they should have put us on another floor as the floor I was on was the one being renovated. I left the room and when I came back there was a couch in the room that wasn’t there before and workers kept knocking to come in and replace chairs. The bathroom door didn’t close or lock. The staff was great. I just think management needed to think things through a little better.
