The place is a mess. Constantly being renovated. They advertise a restaurant, but it is under construction. The rooms are old and not very clean. Stay somewhere else!

The room they put us in was recently remodeled. It was nice! I would call this a no-frills hotel, but for our purposes (hiking/photography trip) it was perfect. The hotel has a little convenience store kiosk near the main desk, has very nicely arranged furniture in the lobby, and was quiet for our stay. We'll be glad to remember this place for future mountain travels that involve western Virginia. Falling Spring Falls isn't too far away, neither is Douthat State Park and the George Washington National Forest.

Then left for a safer hotel Pool closed No restaurant but there is a bar Rooms with furniture pulled out and men partying all over the grounds. Loud hollering and roaming about 2 cars up on blocks Later learned this is a local hangout Definitely not for famlies Manager refused to refund I suggest Travel Lodge in Low Moor or Hampton Inn or Douthat cabins

Friendly staff. Location is excellent. Rooms perfect for all needs. Extended stay is relaxing with lovely pool . Elevators of you can’t do stairs. Will always stay if I need a place close to Hot Springs . Best rate and best place. On site small general store for the little things. Absolute quiet from pool after 10pm. No worries. Cleaning staff excellent. Problems are addressed . Management hands on. Currently under Renovation for bar and food service. Fast food on either side fur late snacking. Delivery from local restaurants is handy. But room with fridge and microwave.

Very dated and not very clean motel. Everything smelled musty and there was standing water in the tub that wouldnt drain. On the plus side, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the outdoor pool seemed to be qell taken care of

the property was ok, they were remodeling rooms and the one that cleaned ro0ms was very poor. you adverted free breakfast and they did not have that, which is false advertisement, that was one of the reason for booking this hotel , and for what you charge for the rooms, I feel I should get some kind of refund for your false advertisement.

We were not expecting the 4 Seasons but this hotel was far below our expectations. Run down, restaurant closed, no breakfast. But what really broke it for us was that the floor of our room had not been mopped in a long time. We spilled so water and mopped it up with a towel, the towel came back black as soot. My wife refused to even spend one night and we left immediately and went to a nicer placer right up the street.

We had a nice Non-Smoking 2 double bedroom at the Magnuson, you could tell that the owners were improving the property, but the floors were very dirty. My bare feet felt sticky and when I put on socks they got dirty. There was visible dirt on the bathroom floor behind the door and around the toilet and tub. There were cigarette burn marks on the tub. The room smelled of cigarette smoke.

The property is old and poorly maintained. While the receptionist was friendly, nearly everything else was disappointing. The room showed clear water damage on the ceiling, with parts of the ceiling hanging down, and half of the curtains were stained. The carpet had multiple large stains, and the refrigerator was so loud it had to be unplugged. The shower and sink were filthy, with mold around the edges. Additionally, my reservation was for a king bed for two people, but at check-in I was told the only available option was a room with two double beds. This was especially inconvenient when traveling with a spouse.

This property is outdated and dirty. The carpet had a spot that looked like was eaten by acid. The bathroom was filthy and the towels were stained. I have pics, not sure I’m able to post them on this sight. It’s a place to lay your head, that’s about it.

Room was super outdated and nasty. There was cobwebs in ever corner of each room near ceilings. Cobwebs behind end tables so thick it would catch anything that fell behind there. Toilet seat barely attached to toilet. Hair on walls in bath/shower area. Refrigerator bot working. Area outside door was covered in trash, spills on walkway and smelt like puke. Room way overpriced for what you got. Will not ever stay here again!

The beds were full size not queens as requested. The room was clean, and well kept. I was a little put off by having to park my car at the other end of the building from my room. I was also upset that the restaurant kitchen was closed for remodeling. We had stayed here a few years ago, and had fond memories of the restaurant. I hope it will be open again before our next visit. I hope in the future that whomever makes the decisions on the motel, reconsiders the coffee that is in the rooms, I know its complimentary but it is by far the worst coffee we ever tried to drink By all means if you need help choosing a new one please contact me.

Everything is worn out and looks unclean. The lobby looked like a messy living room not expecting company. The room had a noisy fridge, little square pillows and worn out bedding. A very loud live band was playing at check in with no application. All in all- like stepping into the Twilight Zone

It was quiet, smelled good, and comfortable enough. They loaded my room with mints and tiny soap bars in hopes of getting a good review. Pillows were terrible and sheets felt like sand paper.

As soon as my friend and i went to check in the lady was fairly rude. i booked through the booking agency and she had charged my card extra money for some reason. We get to our room and it smelled awful, there were spiderwebs, the pillows were filthy and the sheets were stained real bad, something gross was in the sink and the bathroom was horrible. We didn’t last more than 10 minutes in the room. I go up and tell the lady at the desk were not staying because the room was not clean and all she said was “okay what room number?” i told her and she just said okay and walked away. Honestly not worth the money to spend. There is no excuse for me to spend that much money on a room for that kind of service.

We went inside our room and it was disgusting. Carpet dirty, window filthy, a hole under the door that anything could crawl into your room, long term people not so clean(dirty bbq grill in the walkway on 2nd floor), bathroom, nasty. Could go on and on. There is absolutely no mountain view. We ended up going to another hotel. We should get our money back.
We went inside our room and it was disgusting. Carpet dirty, window filthy, a hole under the door that anything could crawl into your room, long term people not so clean(dirty bbq grill in the walkway on 2nd floor), bathroom, nasty. Could go on and on. There is absolutely no mountain view. We ended up going to another hotel. We should get our money back.

Great place! Later check out available! They are rebuilding restaurant inside but very nice place and people! Very helpful! The view is beautiful but uber does not work here

Friendly staff. Location is excellent. Rooms perfect for all needs. Extended stay is relaxing with lovely pool . Elevators of you can’t do stairs. Will always stay if I need a place close to Hot Springs . Best rate and best place. On site small general store for the little things. Absolute quiet from pool after 10pm. No worries. Cleaning staff excellent. Problems are addressed . Management hands on. Currently under Renovation for bar and food service. Fast food on either side fur late snacking. Delivery from local restaurants is handy. But room with fridge and microwave.

We were not expecting the 4 Seasons but this hotel was far below our expectations. Run down, restaurant closed, no breakfast. But what really broke it for us was that the floor of our room had not been mopped in a long time. We spilled so water and mopped it up with a towel, the towel came back black as soot. My wife refused to even spend one night and we left immediately and went to a nicer placer right up the street.

I booked a king room and was given 2 doubles. Had to ho back and get the room changed. Even though their post said they offer breakfast, they don't. I tried to call the front desk 4 times and nobody answered. Terrible experience

The website said that it had breakfast and that was one factor for us to choose since we were on a long drive. The hotel clerk said the restaurant had been closed for a couple of months for upgrade but website needs to be updated. The bath towels were stained and vert worn. Some of the staff were very friendly some not so much(maybe having a bad day?). The hotel really needs an updating overall, it looks old.

the property was ok, they were remodeling rooms and the one that cleaned ro0ms was very poor. you adverted free breakfast and they did not have that, which is false advertisement, that was one of the reason for booking this hotel , and for what you charge for the rooms, I feel I should get some kind of refund for your false advertisement.

The property is old and poorly maintained. While the receptionist was friendly, nearly everything else was disappointing. The room showed clear water damage on the ceiling, with parts of the ceiling hanging down, and half of the curtains were stained. The carpet had multiple large stains, and the refrigerator was so loud it had to be unplugged. The shower and sink were filthy, with mold around the edges. Additionally, my reservation was for a king bed for two people, but at check-in I was told the only available option was a room with two double beds. This was especially inconvenient when traveling with a spouse.

Room was super outdated and nasty. There was cobwebs in ever corner of each room near ceilings. Cobwebs behind end tables so thick it would catch anything that fell behind there. Toilet seat barely attached to toilet. Hair on walls in bath/shower area. Refrigerator bot working. Area outside door was covered in trash, spills on walkway and smelt like puke. Room way overpriced for what you got. Will not ever stay here again!
