Breakfast was just toast and waffles. No eggs no meat no yogurt. Pool was shut down. Elevator was broken. Room was ok. Bathroom was bad. Toilet seat was cracked shower floor was pealing. Will not stay again.

The ceiling in the bathroom is peeling, the sink is cracked, the bathtub is dirty, the room has a funky smell, no screen on the window, the floor is in awful shape, the pool is closed (this was not mentioned when I made the reservation or when I checked in). The bed was comfortable.

I had stayed at this location a number of times over the years visting family and it was sufficient for a budget hotel. I'm not sure if they are under new ownership, but for the last couple years it has been going downhill. First they closed the pool. I was told by front desk staff at the time that it was to save money. Then they stopped serving the full breakfast. Again, told by the front desk staff that it was to save money. During my last stay earlier this year I had to change rooms due to the smell of animal urine. In the next room I saw a cockroach. I do understand that this can happen in a public facility, and the front desk staff did bring a can of bug spray and sprayed the room. But on this visit I was placed in a room that was not even remotely up to par with Red Roof Inn. The floors were dirty, the bathroom door didn't shut, there was mold and rot on the bathroom wall, the tub was rusted and dirty, the vanity was in poor condition, there was only one washcloth provided and no hand towels, there was no chair for the desk (I work on the road and need a desk for my laptop) and when I inquired at the front desk I was provided a dirty, torn, shabby chair from their office. I certainly would've asked for another room, however the hotel was completely booked. Needless to say, I will not stay there again unless something is done to change the conditions.

Rooms were clean. We needed more towels and when asking we were provided with more. Breakfast was lighter. The pool is not in use. Front desk person stated that the pool would not be put back to be used that is was not going to be repaired.

Nice beautiful simple place right off interstate when my fiancée and I just needed to relax on sleep after a long days drive and reload for another 5hr drive the next while on vacation. I would definitely stay again. I mean if I wanted to be picky ya there was issues but honestly it would be petty ones that didn’t bother my fiancée and I. I’m not a (Karen) we are just simple people that try not to pick at little stuff. There is a pool inside that was not talked about or mentioned but seems to be permanently shut down again didn’t upset us. The only thing I mentioned to the management is the TV seems really loose but it still worked fine but for $70.10 out of 10

No protein of any type that I saw. It was quiet even with an easy access to an Interstate highway. The price was low which is why I chose it over a variety of other options in the same vicinity. Despite all the negatives I have listed, it did not feel unclean or cringey or unsafe in any way. I was for the most part satisfied.

Nice bid king suite with cockroaches and another big black bug. The mirror was broke in the bathroom, the towels were small and cheap, the the shower only came halfway on. I took a pic of the roach, and was offered a room switch at 6am.

The hotel had a smell in the lobby area and in our room. We found several cockroaches and there was a dirty washcloth still hanging on the shower from the previous visitor. The hair dryer didn’t work and there was no soap. The bed wasn’t terrible and we did have hot water for our showers.

The hotel showed that it has a pool and that pool’s been broken for years according to the receptionist they have bedbugs. I have multiple bites which I provided pictures below. The room was dirty. I walked in. There was coffee all over the cabinet. I provided this pictures also and the ice container had mold.

The sheets were stained and the bottom sheet did not fit the mattress. They gave us a flat sheet to put crosswise over the bed. Pillowcases had brown stains. Mold growing in the shower. Gross! Staff was friendly

Didn’t have bathroom stocked with paper good and there was a moldy spot about the shower in the bathroom. Floor wasn’t cleaned well and the bathroom sink was clogged. I complained and they took care of everything but the ceiling. Good breakfast and staff very pleasant. Not bad for the price.

I ask for another room and she said I couldn’t change because I had been in the room to long ( I checked in and and left and then came back) but when I told her if someone get sick from staying in that room they will catch a case . Then she gave us another room. Why couldn’t she change it the first time. The next room was on the second it was a little better. Would I stay here again? NO

The shower faucet leaked. I had to put a towel in the tub to keep from going insane from the noise. There were handprints that were definitely left while in the throes of passion on the headboard. Sheets were dirty. Pillows smelled of human oils and sweat. Woke up to a cockroach on the wall. I guess he was security.

There was a lot of noise during the night from the shared parking lot that connects to the hotel next door. Also, because the hvac unit in the wall did not have a continuous fan option, the noise was even more disturbing when the fan shut off, because there was nothing to drown out the noise.

We found this Red Roof Inn to be a good value and a good experience for what we needed which was a place to sleep. The beds are comfortable. The room has a refrigerator and the shower works. Just what we needed.

The staff are always so nice and work very hard!!! We always pick this over other hotels...They were so accomodating to us due to my Aunt unable to walk far they set us up by back door so easy for her to get to!!! Appreciate it so much!!!

Both our check-in and checkout staff were really great and helpful. I had to recommendations to go with our rating. I needed an accessible room because I have low back pain and breathing issues and this was easily accommodated. My back pain was a problem getting in the bed though because it was rather tall and I’m only 5’3”. It would be helpful to have some sort of stepstool. Our only other thing to point out Was the need to be able to drive all the way around the building. We were pulling a trailer and didn’t know we couldn’t go all the way around so after we checked in, we had to back out and park on the road.

Came for a Xmas event. Checked in at 11:00 p.m. the desk clerk was very polite knowledgeable and friendly. My room was clean and a very comfortable mattress with plenty of pillows. The neighborhood was good IE I felt safe. And felt comfortable leaving my vehicle in the parking lot. I did not eat at their continental breakfast but I saw several people in there that were eating. I would not hesitate to stay here again

When expedia didn't forward my reservation after waiting more than a reasonable time, the hotel clerk contacted expedia and got the needed information to check me into my room. This was done during a busy time with several guest checking in. The clerk's professionalism, knowledge, patience and communication skills with everyone was exceptional and commendable.

Nice Red Roof INN Pool doesn’t work and there isn’t really any food places on the same exit so gotta travel to eat unless you go to Saltgrass which is kinda spendy.

I have no complaints save that the area is a little weird with a bunch of hotels and very few restaurants. It's also very close to the time zone line so beware your phone going from CST to EST in just a few steps. It's right off the interstate, the check-in clerk was very nice, and I got my money's worth. Thank you.

Good Location, Great Deal, Excellent Staff, Above Average in all regards. Stayed here to stay away from the overpriced, overcrowded, fare for the Ohio State Football game at Illinois.

The room was spacious and well appointed but the pillows were not very comfortable. The front desk was friendly and helpful. There was good free internet access. In the bathroom there was a large roomy vanity. It and the toilet were very clean, but there was an unacceptable amount of mildew on the caulking in the front corner of the tub/shower. Enough to readily see and smell the presence of mildew. Breakfast had a waffle baker, bread and a toaster, three sugar sweetened cereals, and Cheerios. The paper plates and plastic utensils were of the flimsiest quality, the napkins were cocktail napkins. There was pretty good coffee, milk, orange juice and apple juice to drink. No protein of any type that I saw. It was quiet even with an easy access to an Interstate highway. The price was low which is why I chose it over a variety of other options in the same vicinity. Despite all the negatives I have listed, it did not feel unclean or cringey or unsafe in any way. I was for the most part satisfied.

The toilet's pipes made a loud screaming sound every time when they filled up the toilet. The bathtub has a black residue on the drain and some parts of the bathtub looked old. The Continental breakfast was sparse. But other than those things it was a good place to sleep for the night.

It’s a budget hotel with the fastest hotel check in I’ve ever experienced. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was basic, there was no protein offered, but it was an $80 dollar hotel.

Maintenance was lacking in most areas. plumbing fixtures were rusted badly. Bathroom floor was sticky. There were ants in the room. However the beds were comfortable.

The staff very nice, the chair in my room was very dirty and had a big hole in cushion, I got breakfast at 8;30 and the only options were bagels,cereal and waffles.

The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and kind. 10/10 for hospitality. The room itself was clean enough, aside from odd stains in the tub around the drain. The amenities were lacking, but for the price I didn't expect high-end. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty, and they did not have anything at the desk I could use instead other than tiny shampoo tubes. (Thankfully, I remembered that I had a small bar of soap in my suitcase and it worked out.) The "conditioning shampoo" was pretty bad for my long-ish hair; I should have used my own instead. There was no functional vending machine, but if I'd wanted to take a walk I could have visited the gas station nearby. We left before breakfast hours began. There were some shady-looking characters hanging around outside from time to time, sometimes wandering around and sometimes sitting on the bench in the parking lot.

We had two issues with our room, the first was the AC unit you can tel was working on its last leg only 1 fan on the unit was working and was extremely loud when it ran… and 2nd the blow dryer we found did not work in the bathroom my wife had to go and try and get one from the front desk but didn’t have any extra, one of the guests was nice enough to let my wife use there blow dryer. And come to find out the GFI that it power to doesn’t work trips every time you try and use it…
