Motel 6 Glendale Phoenix

Train is very loud....it almost seems like it is going to come right through your room. Parking situation is a little sketchy.......the room itself was not bad.

Check in and check out was easy and the front desk reps were friendly and nice. You can tell it’s old but it wasn’t bad. The channel lineup was better than most hotels. The bed was comfortable. The location is next to a train track and it was difficult to sleep. A train came by at least 4 times before early morning. Parking is limited and we got the last spot.

The pool is amazing! The room itself was a little rundown in the bathroom area. The AC worked great and staff was friendly, central location was great as well.

This was a great place to stay without breaking the bank. Everything was very clean and in working order. The only complaint that I have is when the motel is full, there’s no parking and you have to end up parking on the street.

It was good. Just the pool was inoperable.

The grounds of the hotel and pool area were filthy, littered with Trash and dog poop. THe room was large and it was nice to have a king size bed but the floor was dirty. No idea where the terrace was over looking the pool but it would have just been a view into a dirty pool.

Bathtub was filthy, room was in need of repair in so many ways. There is No outside place to sit anywhere around the property. The pool area had few chairs (maybe 5) but was padlocked the entire time there. Not a nice area of town to be out in. Disappointed.

ROACHES!!! in the bathroom . I turned the light on in the middle of the night and a BIG roach went scurring across the top of tub . Couldn't check out for i had no where to go in the middle of the night..and i wasnt going to sleep in my car in the phoenix area. I hate roaches!!! But other than that, the place was ok and the swimming pool area was clean.

There were cockroaches in the room

This hotel was disgusting. It didn't look like any of the photos. It wasn't clean. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. I won't ever go back there again. I wasn't expecting luxury by any means... But there was a giant fake eyelash on the bedspread .Roaches running around the floor. Stains on the sheet.This hotel 6 was not only not clean but it didn't feel safe either.

It was nice and quiet, and the room was clean for the most part, but there were some small light stains on the sheets, cracked tile holding up the shower rod and unknown hairs on the “clean” towels

This property was disgusting! There were roaches in our room ! Sheets had holes in them! We would have left that night but everything else around was fully booked and we had an engagement the next morning. There was also a 430 am train that woke us up. Do not stay here!! The area was borderline dangerous. Just an aweful experience! Even the management disregarded my complaints. This place should be shut down!

This was literally the worst place we have ever stayed in. The rooms were dirty and the sheets had holes in them. The bathroom shower curtain was taped together. Rooms smelled like smoke!! It was horrible and we should get our money refunded!!

Room was full of bedbugs wife got over 40 bites all over her body i got.none ..They refunded our money and said it was Cleared last week of the bugs....Do not stay here you will regret it...

Too many roaches and room smelled like mold

The room was nice and spacious. Did see a cockroach.

Some staff (little Indian elderly man & housekeeping) were extremely rude and unprofessional, when arriving to my room I immediately saw spilled that had been dried up it was obvious the floor was never cleaned or sweeped, that led me to check the counters and commonly touched surfaces, NOTHING was sanitized. So moving on to the bedding, this bed was made up with the dirtiest sheet and top cover I had ever seen it had so many cigarette burn holes and so many stains, I would have fired someone that day. This bedding should have been tossed out 3 months or more ago. I call the front desk and let the young lady know about my room, she apologized and sent a woman to the room. This woman came with a caca face, bad attitude and a minion that yelled in Spanish from the bottom floor as if I wasn\'t going to understand. All she came with was 1 fitted sheet and no top cover. I said Ms I need the complete bedding, but all we could hear was the lady on the bottom floor yelling in Spanish "just give them what you have oh well, they can take it or leave it, you don\'t have to listen to their demands, vamanos!" I said thank you for yelling and being rude I\'ll be letting the front desk know that you need more training on cleaning a room and customer service. The morning comes around and it\'s check out day and I\'m gone by 9 am and realized I left my makeup box in the room. I\'m headed back to retrieve my box, I get there and this lil old man is making me pay $15 for reasons he couldnt say for.

The shower bar fell off the wall. The shower was not very strong. Our room was right by the vending machines and folks came all during the night. It is located right on the railroad and 3 trains came through. Housekeeping started rolling carts at 5:30. Bed was lumpy. No coffee maker in room. Tub faucet was half off. Staff seemed frazzled with slow computer.

Fairly quiet and clean. Not immaculate but reasonably well maintained. Sink faucet was loose but working. Beds a bit hard. Microwave and fridge ok, small and in the corner.

Staff was amazing and quick upon check in. You could tell it was an older building that is in need of updates. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Had issues with the door opening and had slight gap between the frame and the door. Worked for our lodging needs.

Also, there was no phone in the room to reach the front desk from...thought that was a little odd. The staff responded quickly and professionally to our complaint. One extra point (not in controll of the hotel) Our room was right next to the railroad tracks and you could feel and hear when a train was coming through at all times during the night. It will inturupt your sleep.

Wifi is very slow, and motel would not keep a bag in lobby for a few hours after I checked out after telling me I could when I checked in.

Room was fine overall. Bed very comfortable. It was hot in the room. The only way to get cool air was by laying in the bed next to the air conditioner. Anywhere else in the room was hot. NO hot water in the shower. Old faucet - hard to turn, so I don't think it was turning all the way to the hot setting. No tissues in the room - just used toilet paper. No shampoo - just bar soap. I would probably stay again - but will check the condition of the shower faucet before accepting the room.

Staff was very friendly and hospitable when I arrived. Check in was easy, but was surprised to see that my room looked nothing like the photos. Not sure if it was because I was in a corner room, but color scheme aside, it was significantly darker and moodier than what the pictures describe. I only booked this hotel because of the warm inviting colors of the room, but instead I got a dark, drab, and bleak.

Inexpensive & allows pets. Lights didn’t work, was next to a loud train, but it had a bed so mission accomplished.

Actually one of the better motel 6's. Only real bad thing was internet was really poor

The beds were uncomfortable, couldnt even get any sleep. They definitely need new mattresses. We did have a roach in our bathroom. They great thing is when our tv wasnt working, they were really quick to get it fixed

I accidentally rebooked my stay for a more expensive room than I was in and the general manager said I can't check in because I did it wrong and kicked us off the property after calling the cops on us and now this morning trying to check in at a different motel 6 me and my boyfriend are registered on their national do not admit check list. BECAUSE I PAYED MORE THAN I WAS SUPPOSED TO FOR MY ROOM. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?? DO NOT STAY AT MOTEL 6 EVER AND EXPEDIA REALLY NEEDS TO STOP OFFERING THEIR LOCATIONS. EXPEDIA PROVIEDS SERVICE THAT IS WAY TO HIGH QUALITY FOR MOTEL 6 TO BE APART OF THEIR PLATFORM, IT WILL RUIN COSTUMER RELATIONS.

Staff is very helpful and friendly

I had accidentally left my laptop, and the manager called me to come back and pick it up. I was amazed at the honesty by both him and the housekeeper who found it. That's something that we don't see too much of nowadays. I would stay here again just for this reason.

The front desk person was rude to me after I told him our room has cockroaches: he replied: go stay at the Marriott. The other worker was right there laughing along with him. We had to get the room key reprogrammed every night we came back. We booked our room for 4 days, there was no microwave or refrigerator, cockroaches, rude workers.. I’ll never recommend motel 6 to anyone

The staff is so friendly and welcoming, I absolutely love staying here. There is so many wonderful shops nearby in Historic Glendale close enough to walk, this property has excellent location for enjoying the local area. will definitely stay again!

I’m very surprised this property had such decent reviews. From check in, the property left a lot to be desired. The front desk attendant was not very friendly, albeit admittedly new. I went to get into my room, which was a challenge on its own because the handle only worked if you timed the key card swipe with a swift hip check to the door to get it open because it stuck so bad. The floors had dirt around the walls and bed frames. The fridge was not cold. The “comforter” was about as thick as a table cloth. The AC/heating unit did not work. The shower did not drain. The toilet paper holder was missing. The sink was clogged and when turned on, leaked all over the counter. The room had a Smokey-mildewy odor that was so strong you could smell it in the pillows. I’ve stayed in my fair share of motel 6 (I travel with dogs and I love how pet friendly they are) and this property is definitely on my “do not return” list… such a shame because the location was close to the event I was attending.

If I could give 0 stars I would. There was a camper parked on the side of the alley, looked like the unhoused, there was very limited parking with signs that say they are not responsible for vehicles. I witnessed 2, which looked like substance users, that sounded like they live there. We were moved to 3 diff rooms, the A/C could not cool down the room. There were roaches in the tub. The door lock was messed up. We even paid $25 for early check in, just to leave 4 minutes after check in time. When we brought up the issues the lady at the front desk said the GM would understand and refund us the next day, since she was new, she couldn't issue refunds. I tried calling every day for the next 2 weeks and got the run around. The manager hung up in my face, and then the GM was in "another country" I would say DO NOT waste your time or money here. It is unsafe, and disgusting. Nothing like the pics show. We ended up leaving to another hotel

Clean rooms, great staff

Checking in went great but when it came time to check out the house keeper was absolutely rude. My guest and I were in shock how rude she was, yes check out time is at 11 but to know aggressively and loud at 11:02 to hurry us out when we were already half way out the door I told her yes give me a second and we will grab out stuff and go she then proceeds to answer with an attitude “um like a second meaning in like 5 minutes or it’s going to be now??” Like she was so busy and we were holding her up, I’ve never seen such bad and rude hospitality. And to tell a guest to leave the door open whenever we are done so she knows we are gone, there should be no need to make your guest to feel rushed out. I like to leave a tip for the housekeeper anywhere I stay to show them appreciation but there was absolutely no way I would ever leave that housekeeper a tip, the room was not even clean that we stayed in the toilet was dirty as well as the tub. there were two small hand towels that were provided for us and the sheets were dirty like someone’s makeup was still on it. Also the tv how in the world would you know to lift the tv up and move the cable box for it to just change the channel. Needless to say I don’t think I will be ever coming back to this location.

The property was run down, although some upgrades were completed in room. The room was clean but the fridge did not work. The building is run down and across the street from a rail yard. Very noisy and people were walking through the property parking area that were obviously under the influence. On the bright side the staff were very friendly and helpful.

When I first saw this property I didn't realize it was a motel 6 but the layout when you get in there is pretty interesting it's actually very secluded and it was very quiet to be right on a busy street I think the loudest thing was the train.

Honestly its not in the best area. But its cheap, rooms arent terrible, just old. And your vehicle is safe. Its not a place i recommend for long term. But for a night or 2 its a place to rest and sleep

It was in my price range and very convenient to get to the Stadium for Beyoncés concert! Security walks around at night to make sure cars are safe.

We did not end up staying here, we saw the area and decided to find another hotel to stay in. The area was not nice and looked unsafe. We did not see inside the motel or talk to any staff. It was too late to cancel this reservation so we were charged but did not stay.

If you want to feel safe and have a 24/7 armed security, this might be the place for you! If you enjoy the sound of a constant train horn blowing through-out the night this might be the place for you. Want to sleep in past 6am and and also enjoy mexican music while the staff clean rooms as loudly as possible, this is the place for you! Like when your feet stick to the floor, it’s just old beer, this is the place for you! Bare bones in the room, no coffee maker. BUT wonderful brunch at the Bisucit Cafe!

I enjoyed my night there. It was comfortable, quiet, and affordable. There are a few nice restaurants around. I enjoyed sitting by the pool, even though it was a bit cold to swim.

Overall not bad… no coffee maker in the room and no breakfast of any kind. The price was too high to not have these things. Room was “clean” but I always carry Lysol for rooms like this..

Service and staff was great. No breakfast, FYI. It's run down, bed was ok. Paid $260+ total for 2 nights... not worth that price. Sketchy area of town, but close to the stadium
