This was a last minute booking. One thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning…only windows and a fan. This turned out being fine for us but could easily have been too hot as we were not going to leave the windows open over night being two women traveling alone. The carpet could stand to be professionally cleaned and the hot tub jets weren’t working. BUT this was a very economical stay, the Alpine Restaurant/Bar next door has phenomenal pizza and the staff at the hotel is very friendly. Everything is clean, the area felt safe and over all it was perfectly fine. We would stay again.

Older ski chalet so hasn't been updated in a long time. That being said, we had the "apartment" upstairs from the lobby. We slept 5 adults (was also supposed to be one child) and it was very comfortable. Large living area with big dining table. Fully equipted kitchen so technically you could prepare and serve all meals. They offered a very adequate breakfast (included) and it was a very quiet place. Nice heated indoor pool and outside jacuzzi. Would stay again!!

Awesome area to stay in while visiting Colorado. Nestled between white mountains tops and just 30 min. Drive from lots of outdoor activities. It was nice to come back to small quiet town after being in the hustle and bustle all day.. will be back in the future. Only dislike was the hot tube was dirty but all in all was great

We enjoyed staying here for 4 nights! Our kids loved the pool and hot tub, as well as the HUGE playground just a block away. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and Georgetown has a lot to offer in addition to the train ride. The restaurant next to the hotel has great pizza and salads!

This is a good Inn for people going to activities in the surrounding mountains (ski, mountain bike, etc...) You will find indoor pool and exterior jacuzzi. Close by (walking distance) few restaurants and convenience store, gas stations, tourist info office. Outstanding staff, may be the best in my experience...

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The included breakfast had more than we expected (hard boiled eggs, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, and toast). The rooms were dated but clean. Our only complaint was with the bathroom. There was obvious water damage to the baseboards. However, the worse part was the moldy shower curtain.

The place was decent and kind of quirky honestly. But the wood paneling on the walls reflected a lot of fingerprints that kind of grossed me out. Comfortable beds, just outdated and didn’t have AC. Front desk attendant was super though.

The hotel is older, but very well maintained. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, and the staff was very nice. The hotel is in the middle of town and easy to walk everywhere. I highly recommend staying here!

The Georgetown Mountain Inn aptly fits its name--an inn (not some cookie-cutter built mediocre motel)--that exudes charm and nostalgia. The solid pine walls, rustic solid pine furniture, and the simple decorating are charming and cozy. To top it off--the cleanliness is exceptional. This is our accommodations of choice whenever we visit this neck of the woods!

We based our decision to stay here on the reviews. However, bathroom had black mold around the tub, carpet was old and dirty, all lights only worked from the main switch as the switch by the bed didn’t work. The lamp shade on one of the lamps was cracked and broken. The pillows kept slipping behind the bed and the outlet behind the bed couldn’t be used because the bed was too close to it and the bed was too heavy to move it away. Oh yes, the heat couldn’t be adjusted until it decided to get hot in the middle of the night. So, all in all, if you are only looking for a bed to sleep in, then you will be fine.

Our stay was okay. Given other reviews (which incidentally led to staying here), I was just expecting…more. The room was fine and clean, but the headboard was awkward and the room relatively small for the price. The property is showing its age, and not in a good rustic or even old-fashioned way, just old and in need of an update.

The facilities are dated and don’t expect A/C in your room. I suggest staying away from a room next to the stairs because the sound of people coming and going is heard through the walls. If I had nowhere else to stay while visiting Georgetown, then the Inn is good enough. Otherwise, I suggest finding accommodations elsewhere with better facilities and amenities.

pros: friendly staff; good location (to the Loveland ski). cons: outdated facility; weak wi-fi signal; TV control may not work (as in my case); no house-keeping (for four days in my case) Not related to the inn, the town is boring. It is fine if you are here only for skiing. Or else, nothing to see in this small town.

My family and I were hiking Gray’s Peak early in the morning and wanted to stay in a nearby hotel/motel the night before and found the Georgetown Mountain Inn online. Check in was a breeze and Amber was not only pleasant and informative, but even provided a water kettle and a selection from their included breakfast for us to take that night as we were leaving early in the am. The lobby was charming with a beautiful stone fireplace, the rooms had wood paneling and wood log furniture. (Their “Log Room”) The rooms were a bit dated but the beds were comfortable and clean (as were the towels). Our room (2 queens each) had a microwave and refrigerator and plenty of outlets for our devices. The water pressure for my shower was very good but the temperature could have been a bit hotter. The price was very reasonable (about half of Microtel down the street). It’s very close to the quaint town and we had dinner at Cooper’s on the Creek (great burgers and cocktails/extensive draft beer selection!) If you want a convenient, charming stay with excellent service that doesn’t break the bank, I highly recommend the Georgetown Mountain Inn!

The room was great. However, it is an old building so anybody walking up the stairs or down the open hallway to their room can't help but make loud noises as they walk. The breakfast was okay and it was updated inside so the room was nice.

Georgetown Mtn Inn is my go-to lodging when I go skiing for the weekend at Loveland Ski Area. It's dated, for sure, and is a throwback to the old roadside motels from the 60s, but it's always clean. As for staff, I've only met Pete at the front desk when checking in, but he is a good representative for the inn. Always welcoming and helpful with any information.

Great service. At check-in the manager noticed we had a pet-friendly room reserved but we had no pets, so she got us another room with no trouble. The Alpine Restaurant and Bar next door had excellent pizza. Perfect location for our early-morning hike the next day at Bierstadt.

Great value for the price. I was in town for a couple nights to ride the train and do some sightseeing, so was looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. This place fit the bill! Nice restored 1960's building, just a few minutes drive from the train station and a short walk to downtown. I'll stay here again next visit for sure.

We stated here for a ski weekend. We went to Vail and Keystone in well under an hour from here (leaving by 7:30am) for well under half the price of a hotel closer to the resorts. The staff were lovely, the included breakfast was really well done and helped us get out the door quickly for our adventures. The small lobby was very comfortable and there was a lovely wood burning fireplace that was well tended. The room was very clean, the mattress and pillows very comfortable. It’s an older building so there are dated features and some paint that could use some touching up, but I would definitely stay here again.

The desk clerks were helpful and friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. The lobby has a nice fireplace. Self serve Breakfast was fine too for a skiing trip: OJ, instant oatmeal or grits, microwave sausage egg muffins, cheese sticks, granola, yogurt, etc. Be aware though that the County operated Chargepoint station across the street does not work with Teslas even with the Tesla adapter. The bottom part of the connector would fit but the charger has an extra piece at the top that blocks the Tesla adapter from plugging in.

Quiet and cozy hotel with a clean room, comfortable bed, and a nice location for walking into town. The only downside was the very limited free breakfast, which felt underwhelming for the price. Options included coffee, milk, cereal, bagels, and toast—but only Philadelphia cream cheese or boiled eggs as accompaniments. I wasn’t quite sure what I was supposed to pair the toast with, and without sitting tables.
