Fredericksburg Inn and Suites

I loved the property! The room is outdated but is clean and the bed so comfy. All the areas at The hotel are nice: they have firepits and lounge areas for small groups which we enjoyed; they have 2 pools and a jacuzzi (super hot water btw), clean water 👍👍 and it’s walking distance from all the shops in main st. I will definitely will go back for a couple nights.

The outdoor pools and hot tub were nice and room A/C work like a champ! However, parking is tight, bed was too firm we woke up stiff, not enough hand towels or TP and mold spots on bathroom floor and ceiling. Great location though!

Great place, outside space amazing, fire places, seating, pool, hot tub. Super friendly staff, close to town. Rooms are large, clean but a little dated/shabby. A little spruce would make this a 10/10 place. At the mo I’d give it an 8.7/10

The pool area is really nice with well-maintained with flowering plants and trees.

The pool was closed for maintenance and was one of the reasons for booking this location. It was a let down, but the awesome staff made up for the issue

Amazing property for the price. On the doorstep of numerous restaurants and outdoor activities. The facilities are also excellent for a 3 star property with outdoor swimming, hot tub and water games including TV and fires which make for a lovely relaxing end to a busy day exploring the great outdoors. The breakfast also offers a really good choice of both hot and cold options. From the UK and will definitely return.

Our room (suite) was perfect for our family. We added an additional night to our stay so that we could continue taking advantage of the sun, the two pools, the hot tub, and the great outdoor fire spaces!

Nice room and breakfast. Large number of rowdy guests in pool until about 10:30 pm. Guy checking us in was very nice and helpful. Woman checking us out was rude and never smiled. She clearly should not be working in customer service if you want to keep guests coming back.

The outside area and pool were quite rowdy and loud. Beds were comfortable but the room smelled odd.

Enjoyed the the breakfast and the pool. Rooms were nice beads were comfy. However wish the pool opened earlier than 10.

Pool was good, the room was not good. No usb port to charge phones, only 2 towels, blood on bathroom walls, hair and dirt on floor, worn and stained carpet, no elevator to 2nd floor. Have to lug luggage up stairs. No covered parking. Got hail damage to car during storm.

The location was very convenient and everyone was nice. Reviews for the place were amazing. However our room was rather dirty. Air filters and bathroom vent covered in dust, dirt and lint. Shower head was barely fixed to the wall and had black colored mold everywhere around the caulking. Pull out bed was dirty with hair and debri and extremely low quality. Within 10 minutes of being barefoot in the room our feet bottoms were covered in a black/brown film. The kids would start coughing and sniffling when in the room and would continue all night while trying to sleep. Ultimately we left on our last night opposed to staying. Given the price paid we would have expected much higher quality but maybe it was the convenience factor. Next time we will try another hotel

Other peoples' hair was on the walls of the shower and on the floor. I also spotted a bug on one of the beds.

Good because we’ve always enjoyed staying there and it’s a nice location. But the bathroom was not clean, tub didn’t drain well, and we had a roach in our room.

The room was dirty and the bathroom door had blood and hair on it. The air conditioner is outdated and needs to be replaced. In addition, the rooms are not cleaned every day. Only towels are given to guest upon request. The stairs and concrete are filthy and have not been power washed in years. Upon arrival, there were flies in the room.

The rooms are completely dirty if you look beyond the bed sheets. The covers for the mattress and the box springs were covered in dirt, grime and spilled wine. The tops of the box springs were also completely dirty. I requested another room and it was equally as dirty and unkept. Once again, I requested another room, and It wasn't as dirty, but had a spider's nest under one of the chairs. All three of the rooms I inspected prior to bringing in my belongings had bugs present (spiders, beetles etc). Finally, the last room has a disgusting yellow stain inside of the mini fridge making it unusable. For what this place is charging (~$160 for weekdays and ~$200 for weekends) it's just not worth it and a waste of money. I'm honestly confused how this hotel has such high reviews. However, the front desk attendant, William, was amazing and helped me find a decent room. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again in the future. Please look elsewhere.

There was mold on the walls by the vents, and it covered the showers. Hair, dirt, and grime covered everything else. Window blind was broken open so anyone could see in. The security latch and door frame looked like someone had tried to break the door down before and it was hanging on by a thread. Add in cockroaches on the floor and broken outlet plates, this room was disgusting. Not coming back.

The staff was very frendly. the breakfast was good. the outside pool ara was beautiful, but the room was not that great. Bathroom had black mold around the tub and baseboards. Lights hung by the electrical wires. Just seemed poor maintenance. Dog area was full of stickers and we had to take our dogs other places to do there business.

This place had its highs and lows, definitely not worth $335/night. Outdoor area, pool and hot tub and tables around fireplace were excellent. Nicely designed and very clean and both grown up and family friendly. Room felt very outdated, was clean but lots of scuffs on the walls and the furniture felt very old. Pullout couch was completely broken and unusable as a bed. Barndoor style doors don’t give real privacy in the bathroom. Not enough towels and towels and linens are motel quality All in all… it’s a ok motel… but you’re paying entirely for location, it isn’t a $300+ per night experience.

Rooms comfortable, but bland

If you don’t mind hearing the people above you and around you this is the place for you. Very thin walls. Do not stay on the bottom floor. You can hear everyone around you.

Great hotel near downtown. Easy access to restaurants and easy shuttle access to events. Comfy beds. Remodeled older hotel, with each room has access to the outside.

I feel that the room was clean and smelled clean however the color choices for paint made it feel dingy and dirty, The lighting made it very dark. I feel that the bathroom area was very worn as the door did not close easily due to the door having some moisture damage. Honestly didn’t look like the photos at all. I was disappointed.

I staid in the suite and paid extra for a bit more comfort as we were a couple with a teenage girl. The space was too little to accommodate 3 people. It was a BR with king and a convertible sofa in the LR that occupies almost the entire tiny living area. The vanity and bath separate the BR & LV. The shower and toilet separated with a sliding glass door with poor ventilation. The shower space was too narrow that you can barely turn your body while trying to void touching the wall or the glass. The ceiling too low too. I guess those with claustrophobia would never step into the shower or the toilet. In addition, others must tolerate the toilet smell or the bath moist other person every time the bath was used. The bath section was separated from the LR and BR using sliding doors, to cross that region you should ask, hey is anyone taking shower or using the toilet? I wanna pass to the BR or getting out of it! It put us in a couple of awkward moments :) we staid 2 nights and 3 days, the room service never visited the suit and didn’t refill the supplies, so we have to ask the front desk for towels. TG, the front desk was 24/7. The suite is suitable for 1 or max 2, not 3 or 4 as advertised. Yes, the outdoor hot tub was excellent and the outdoor fireplaces and TV at the pool were cozy for outdoor hangout, but until we decided to unwind indoor and find a pillow to crash for the night. I don’t recommend the place.

Bath fan extractor in poor conditions. Carpet smells funny and loud a/c unit. Quiet place with no elevator for second floor

Property is in a really great part of town and very walkable. The WiFi didn’t work at all and our AC unit in room 239 would cut off multiple times during the night and get hot until it was reset.

We arrived mid-week later in the afternoon. There was plenty of parking. When I arrived to check in, the front desk person seemed upset and frustrated. I asked for recommendations around the area, which annoyed her. If you have never been to Fredericksburg, be aware that most of the stores and restaurants either close super early (around 5pm) or are not open during the week. We dropped off our stuff in our 1 bedroom king bed suite and we immediately went to go check out the town. After a couple of hours checking out the town we came back to setup for bedtime. Our kids were going to sleep on the pull out. As we "pull out" the mattress we were greeted with a bunch of bugs. They were either bed bugs or lice, either way we were not going to let our kids sleep there. We immediately check the king bed for bugs, and sure enough we found the same little black bugs. We called the front desk to notify them and I was reunited with the lovely and totally not annoyed front desk lady. I told her of our discovery and she questioned my sanity. I offered for her to come and take a look and she said it doesn't matter. I asked if maybe they can move us to another room, she declined. I asked if she could replace the mattresses, she declined. I then asked what options she can give me. She said, I could go to another hotel or I can try to get a refund. I had just driven 4 hours to get here, I'm tired and just want to sleep. I called expedia and after an hour I eventually got a refund.

It was an easy check in. The room was a ground floor and I was very happy for that. Very quiet even though our room faced the parking. They offered free breakfast and free wine tasting on Friday from Airis Ele. The Inn is conveniently close to the Main street, less than 5 min walk. Weather was cool, to windy, warm and hot, typical Texas weather. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. I am very grateful to have found this place! I have nothing negative about the staff or place. The only item was I did get charged for the full price when when my friend and I provided both of our CC to pay. But I called and CJ helped. Very happy!

Ac did not work properly. Waited too long at front desk to check it. By too long we mean great than 10 minutes. I ended up opening a bottle of wine in the lobby.

The room was very spacious and worked out great for our pack-n-play to stay in a corner far from the AC unit and shielded from the bathroom lights. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was always kind and helpful. Biggest attraction was how central is was to town and walking distance to everything we wanted to do! We’ll definitely stay here again.

Renee at front desk was rude to me and other guests. I had reserved *and* confirmed in advance a ground floor accessible room in accordance with ADA, and Renee refused to accomodate me. A call to the manager got me a non-accessible ground floor room in poor condition at the very back of the property. I cannot climb stairs, and the second floor room Renee wanted to stick me in was not an option (they have no ramp or elevator). It was a stressful and uncomfortable experience. I will not stay here again.

Staff was amazing! Excellent place to stay will definitely be staying here every time we go to Fredricksburg!

The check-in was sloppy, employee gave the most expensive room to the person who paid for a less expensive room. We paid to be pool side and our view was a stair case, not pool view unless we went outside and walked around the staircase. I wouldn't be mad except they charge $20 extra, each room, to look at a stair case.

We never had hot water. When we told the front desk staff, they said their hot water heaters were working and that we should wait because a lot of people were using the water. We tried at all times of day and it was either completely cold or barely lukewarm. Even though we alerted them to the problem multiple times, they offered no assistance or any sort of compensation.

This has been our 2nd visit. The first visit was very welcoming but this time the clerk was rude. I asked if he could out us in the bottom floor due to my leg injury and he said you can’t be picky when your checking in late. Then our room smelled like marijuana. Our room was paid in advance prior to check in and to be treated this way was not ok. I’ll have to rethink my next booking with this hotel.

This property is located two blocks off the primary street where all shops are located. They have several outdoor sitting areas so you can come back and not just sit in a hotel room. Breakfast was average hotel breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again should we return to Fredericksburg

Clean room, modern amenities, nice grounds with sitting areas and fire pits, swimming pool and a place to play washers. The hotel is located in a quiet area next to a creek, yet it is in easy walking distance to Main Street Restaurants and the Pacific War Museum. Room rates are extremely reasonable. Breakfast is included. A great place to stay in Fredericksburg that won’t break the bank and you will be pleasantly surprised. I will stay here again.

The hotel is easy walking distance to Main Street, where there are multiple shopping and dining choices. It's also easy driving to wineries, fruit orchards, restaurants, breweries and other shopping choices.

Great location, walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. A/C was good and cold. Big rooms, clean and comfortable. 2 pools, nice outdoor seating areas, not a bad breakfast. Have stayed there numerous times, always been great.

Could hear EVERY voice & conversation in neighboring rooms, late into night. Toilet seat wildly loose. No handsoap. Breakfast ran out, huge lines of about 30 people at 9:30, insufficient seating indoors so no warm place to have coffee at least. Terrible experience.

Great location , close to downtown and the wineries. The pool and hot tub area is top notch . Room is clean and well equipped . The water pressure in the bathroom is phenomenal, best water pressure I’ve ever seen. Breakfast can use a little upgrade in terms of variety and quality. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a family trip!

Great breakfast spread, always coffee in the lobby. Good pool with a nice warm hot tub. Towels provided at pool area as well as pool noddles for kids. Loved that the historic home on site was incorporated into the hotel lobby area. Nice outside seating areas throughout the property.

Our room was clean, the pools were immaculate, and they had the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. The nicest most accommodating staff as well. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful grounds with a little creek running through it. Breakfast was great. Very large selection.

Our one night stay was average, nothing exceptional. The room was clean but had a musty smell. The air condition worked well and the bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was a disappointment. What should have been a full breakfast was more like a continental breakfast. The hours posted for breakfast were 7-10 am. We arrived at 9:00 am. The eggs, sausage & potatoes were gone. There were multiple people waiting in the breakfast area for the items to be replenished. There were also multiple people who informed hotel staff of the issue. Somewhere around 10 am, the staff replenished the breakfast items, but it was not nearly enough for the guests who were waiting. What bothered us more was the lack of concern by hotel staff to rectify this problem. There were no apologies or announcements made that food was being prepared and on its way. That was a disappointment. Not great customer service!

Lots of amenities like fire pits, fireplaces, cozy outdoor seating, lovely property, jacuzzi and 2 pools. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was the weak link. Really wish hotels would just not serve eggs if all they can do is powdered eggs. They are disgusting. Some slightly healthy options would be nice like unsweetened oatmeal and some fruit.

The property is lovely. Perfect location to all that Fredericksburg has to offer. Breakfast was amazing! Full of lots of choices and always stocked. Room didn’t have soap when we arrived. Hotel clerk said they had run out of hand soap. It was taken care of a day later. Would highly recommend this hotel, and we will stay again.

Good location. I recommend they separate the waffle line from other breakfast items. The breakfast line was so long. It took us half an hour to get to the eggs . The waffle machine is the bottleneck. The property is decent and the location is excellent. The shower water pressure is amazing.

Very impressive. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Great pool area for adults as wrll as kids. Friendly and informative front desk. Excellent breakfast, fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy as well as 2 waffle makers and the usual fair. Great location teo blocks from the main downtown area. This will be our go to place to stay in Fredericksburg.
