Baymont by Wyndham Henderson Oxford

The hotel appears to be under some sort of construction, walls and floorboards were ripped out, construction workers were there when checking in, and it was very dusty and not very clean in the halls and lobby, this includes the rooms as well. Then to make matters worse, after checking in the power went out around 3:45 pm EST and didn't come back on until after midnight. Oh and no toilet paper in the room, my husband had to go to the front desk and request a roll of toilet paper, which is unacceptable because that should've been replenished when the room was so-called cleaned. If I could give NO STARS I would. This place needs to be shut down. They had the nerve to ask for a security deposit of $100 at check-in, stating if there was any damage to the room, like how much damage could one cause to an already messed room. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

Right off I-85 and close to Wal-Mart and Henderson Mall. Nice selection of places to eat. Hotel is being renovated, so no pool and the rooms are outdated, or the overall score would be higher. Staff was friendly and decent selection for breakfast.

Never stayed at the hotel. Had to change because Hotels.com advertise it had a pool but when we got there, the pool had not been working all year.

This hotel is under construction and should be closed during the construction. The rooms were dated with old furniture, rust, cracked of peeling paint and smelled. The pool was closed and my grandkids were disappointed. None of this was advertised

The staff is pleasant. The rooms are average the breakfast typical nothing special the building is in disrepair. During our stay a pipe burst flooding several rooms. Members of our party had to change rooms.

We used it for a stop for one night on a trip . It served its purpose .But a lot of construction going on the place looked like it had some water damage from a previous storm . The floors in the hallway was lifted up in paces .But overall a clean place to stay

Staff was courteous and friendly but floors in hallways and elevator were pretty filthy. In the elevator there was a faint urine smell. My room looked clean but when I pulled back the comforter on the bed there was a nasty looking yellow stain on the fitted sheet.

The pictures listed are not recent. The sanitation certificate they have at the feont desk that says 96 is from 2023. Who knows what the actual one is for this year! The rooms are very rundown with paint peeling off the walls. The bathrooms were disgusting. The tub drain wouldn't even stay open to drain the water for a shower. The beds were comfortable but sheets had a permanent yellow stain to them. The air only halfway worked and was very loud. The refrigerator made noises all night long. Very thin walls and could hear everyone next door and in the halls. The elevator sounded like it would break any minute, so I took the stairs every time. We only stayed the one night. We lost the money on our 2nd night even though we left. They refused to refund. Would definitely not recommend to anyone else. The only good thing was the lady in the breakfast area. She was very friendly and they had several options for breakfast.

Looked nice from the outside. Receptionist wasn't exactly welcoming, not a cheerful guy I guess. Room has had better times, but clean enough (except for a big bug). No way to control the climate, except for the noisy ac. Without a there was traffic noise, so...

everything was fine until a bedbug crawled on the bed. I reported it ,took pictures and was given a different room.I couldn't sleep well for the rest of my stay. There was no compensation for my inconvenience.

The room had a smell and floor was coming up. You have to run the shower at least 5 minutes get hot water.

There was mold on bathroom ceiling and we took a picture of a cockroach that was in bathroom. When we told the person at front desk. No apologies just he would let them know. We should have been given partial refund!!!!

The hotel is small and could use some updates but overall it is clean. The staff is great and courteous. Breakfast is great with a lot of choices.

I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy this hotel!! The sheets was dirty and the whole hotel was not renovated! It was the worst experience ever!!!

Room was great, walls are a bit thin so we could hear everything going on around and above us during our stay. the Ac didnt regulate very well so the room temp went from good to hot to good to cold thru out our stay

The extra charges. The refrigerator didn't work properly. The microwave was missing the glass tray.

Noisy road noise

Property appeared to be recently painted and new floors installed and was clean. The AC unit was very noisy and didn't cool the room as well as I would like.

The beds were terrible and I have never went to a hotel that had throw pillows on the bed for sleep pillows. They should tell you to bring your own pillows

The room was in need of restoration. It needs one comfortable chair in the room. The shower would not get hot we took cold showers. #1 nice chair to sit in. #2 fix the furniture as it is all beat up #3 new TV #4 HOT WATER

Front desk person, sorry didn’t get her name, was very helpful since I had picked the wrong dates up for the reservation.

Let me start this review by saying: the hotel had signs that said it was under new management/recently renovated; and I worked for many years in hotels myself, both front desk & housekeeping staff & management positions. I know that because I worked in the industry I tend to look at rooms/properties with a more critical eye, and I also know what a hard process it is to complete a renovation. In the basics, our stay was good. The staff was phenomenal—helpful, courteous, friendly, and responsive. Check in and check out were both seamless and easy. The lobby, breakfast area, and our room were very clean. However, there were signs of “wear and tear” in public areas and our room. In our room, every piece of wooden furniture was nicked, scuffed, dented, etc. The paint on walls and ceiling appeared uneven and patchy. The bed linens were worn, with holes, stains, and bleach marks. The flooring was new, but because of that there was a very strong aroma of “new linoleum” in the hall and in our room. It was also disconcerting to have a room with no carpeting at all, only linoleum tile. The only things that were a problem were the stained sheets and the chemical smell of the flooring, The smell will dissipate over time, I am sure. If it doesn’t, that is a problem. If the rest of the issues are going to be addressed by the end of the renovation, I would stay at this property again. If a second stay had the same issues, I would not consider this hotel to be worthwhile.

My purpose for writing this is the out right disrespect and sex discrimination I received at this establishment. I understand this an independent own operation. No where does any of the staff has a right to be hostile yelling and screaming at anybody regardless of their race or one's gender. I waited patiently to be waited on. I then identify myself as a black woman that I am. He (AJ) yelling and screaming being very hostile " Where is your ID?" I and the young lady working with him both was shocked. I explain to him. "The same way you treated that white man with respect and good service. I expect the same. I hope you don"t treat all your black customer this way inside this establishment." After receiving my key card I went up to inspect. I returned to explain I don't feel safe being in that particular room. He wanted to give me a hard time. However, I received a new room. On several occasion during my stay from the 28 til 31of August 2025. AJ has unlawful breaking and entry into this guest room which had a DO NOT DISTURB sign place on the door the entire time. He is smart enough to make sure that there are no other workers on duty to witness his behavior. Is there a policy that states" Police a guest room who has left their TV on to go insde and turn it off. Even though a DO NOT DISTURB sign is on the door." What about the rights of the people who are using this hotel at that time?" I hope all employees would follow all regulations and policies which are lawfulEST.

The only only problem I had with my stay was the computer crashed so it took over two hours for me to check in.

Room was clean, building seemed clean. Staff was "ok" but not very personable mostly upon checkout. When arriving was informed of a $100 refundable deposit that had not been made known when booking. I'm not new to refundable deposits but $100 is insane for this area. When sharing my displeasure and the chance I might cancel reservation they made an exception and lowered the deposit amount.

it took almost 2 hours for them to get my team checked in. A lot of confusion. My team travel over 4 hours to have to wait that long to check in. They were frustrated because they made them wait and helped multiple costumers. They were ready to get in their rooms.

Everything was close by did not have to travel far for anything.

Off the main highway, away from busy traffic

Right off the interstate and close to a shopping center. Has a decent breakfast.

Very convenient to Maria Parham medical center. It is an easy walk through the back hedge to the hospital campus.

Clean and quiet. Located near stores and restaurants and right near the highway and gas stations.

Hotel was quiet and clean with the besting room lighting of any hotel i have stayed in. Good wafflea for breakfast and nice staff. Beds are comfortable. Showers hot with good pressure. Would stay here again.

This place was clean,CLEAN,the service impeccable, breakfast was fantastic, for the money you get a HUGE bang for your buck,if i had any complaints, bed was too soft felt like i was sleeping on a cloud ,2nd,they give you bar soap !!,but every room has a microwave, mini fridge,coffee machine, nice place,really was !!

Pictures on Hotels.com are deceiving. Did not inform under construction. Room was clean, need to buy new mattresses for the bed. Did have a good breakfast with good variety of things to eat and drink. Conveniently located to places to eat and shop, even had a WalMart next door. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was not open and it was hot in Henderson.
