You need outside lighting in front of rooms 703 & 704. I could not see to unlock the door after dark. Had to use flashlight. Very dangerous

I only gave a three star rating because the property definitely needed some help. There was no ice machine anywhere. You definitely need a car or golf cart. There’s nothing to walk to that that convenient. Some areas of the property are very rundown inside/outside exterior but I would stay there again knowing these things, because it was very convenient to the beach. it looks like they are starting to repaint the exterior of the building, which I actually like the turquoise better. The maid service was very good. The only thing they didn’t do was take the dirty towels so by the end of my three nights in four days, I have about 10 towels in my room. Also, they didn’t replenish coffee. They only gave you one bag for each day you were there and some people drink more coffee than that. When I called the main desk which is 3 miles away I ask if they can bring a bag of ice they said no.. but again I would stay here again, knowing these things.

We really enjoyed the room, especially the good-size refrigerator and the cute bathroom. It had a little screened porch, and the parking was very close. The pool had wonderful cushioned deck chairs and umbrellas. It's just a short walk to the beach, which was not overly crowded, even on a long holiday weekend. There are several restaurants and shopping areas close. The free trolley bus stop is nearby, too. The only thing I would improve is the garden around the pool. It had some weeds and dead plants.

We needed to check out shortly after arrival. Check-in is miles from room. It was late and took us a while to find it. A spray bottle of some kind of homemade deodorizer was left in room. The sheets were filthy.

This was our second stay at Haley's. Although an older property, it is well kept, the check in staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient, and it is in a great location with a short walk to the beautiful beach.

The place was very small but clean. But my HUGE complaint is that they have some type of chemical smell in here that was so strong that I had a hard time falling asleep. I could not find any plug ins or anything that the strong chemical smell was coming from but you need to be aware that some people are super sensitive to heavy smells and chemicals.

The room wasn’t clean. Shower and shower curtain have mold also shower curtain had what looked like blood on it . We called host several times left message never returned my call . We requested a clean shower curtain and towels no one ever responded. There were only 2 bath towels.

The room was in great condition. The bed was super comfy and furniture was great. The bathroom layout was terrible. It was tiny. Luckily we are average sized people. If you were an obese individual, you would not have been able to use the toilet or the shower.

A very nice place and reasonable price. Don’t expect it to be a standard hotel facility. The property itself is very nice. It has a very small bathroom. A kitchen and full size fridge is a plus. It has no clothes closet to hang clothes, unless you count the bloom closet/Air Conditioner closet as a clothes closet. A small setback for inconvenience, but overall I still like the property very much. The location is superb. The communication with the front desk is excellent. They responded within a couple minutes.

The room is clean but very out dated and small.The bathroom is extremely small, you have to contort a little to get by the sink to get to the toilet. I would not stay here again.

The first room we were checked into was just a room and a shower and toilet. The bathroom vanity was next to the bed and not really even a bathroom vanity. We spoke to the manager and she was able to move us to tropic Isle at Anna Maria which is another of their properties on the island. The only issue I really have is that the pictures on Hotels.com are of all the rooms they have available on the island and you really can't see the actual room you have reserved The web site shows you the best rooms that the resort has to offer. The property manager even agreed that that is their policy on the web. I had to upgrade for another 650.00 more for three nights which I wouldn't have had to pay if I had been able to see the pictures of the original room I reserved online

Haley’s Motel is still severely damaged. The company gave us a replacement room at no charge at the Bali Hai. This property was definitely an upgrade! It’s nice to do business with a responsible company!

The location was walkable to food and beach. A humble property but it was no less than we expected considering the price. Only drawback was check-in. The email should have made it very clear in LARGE type, not tiny type at the bottom, that check in is on the opposite end of the island. We planned our day to be at the correct end for check in and then had to drive to the other end and back again in traffic. It was luck that a resident gave us instructions of where to go.

Was notified by email the DAY OF check-in that check-in would take place about 6 miles south of the actual property. I'm not in the habit of reading emails while driving so there was no way to know about this until arrived at the property and found no office. There was no info on the Hotels.com app either. Room was small for the money, the bed was atrociously hard and the pillows were flat. Not a good time.

Haley's has been recently renovated, but remains a very good motel choice. Great location, thankfully still a one story building. Anthony was extremely friendly and efficient. A very good person to represent the business. We've been coming to Anna Maria for 30 years, and with places like Haley's to stay, we'll continue to come. Hope it stays simple and accessible.

Very clean and comfortable. Air conditioner works very well, so more blankets would be nice. No microwave. Sizable shower but small bathroom overall. Short, quiet walk to beach access.

This was our 1st time in Anna Maria. It was a nice little beach town. The hotel was all renovated and really nice! Great location to everything. Easy walk down to the beach, and restaurants and shops super close as well. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back! 😊

We really enjoyed the room, especially the good-size refrigerator and the cute bathroom. It had a little screened porch, and the parking was very close. The pool had wonderful cushioned deck chairs and umbrellas. It's just a short walk to the beach, which was not overly crowded, even on a long holiday weekend. There are several restaurants and shopping areas close. The free trolley bus stop is nearby, too. The only thing I would improve is the garden around the pool. It had some weeds and dead plants.

Just a few blocks from the beach, around the corner from shops, down the road from family. Room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities I needed for a short stay.

My husband and I both are disabled, I called the property and told them this. The room was decent however it was a tight fit for my mobility aides. The bathroom is ridiculously small and I didn't feel safe in the shower. There are no handrails in the shower. The service was top notch. Parking was a nightmare. No assigned handicapped spot. Dangerous to back out because you can't see past the property or other cars til others are right on top of you. I wouldn't have paid the price I did had I seen it first. We will be back to the island but we won't be staying at Haleys.

Amazing location, very clean. It would be helpful to know that there is not an office on the property and you have to check in at another property. Other than that, we will definitely book again.

Check in wasn’t smooth.. I asked for early check in because I’m very pregnant and it was scratching hot but they couldn’t accommodate which is fine but 30 mins past check in when they said they would allow for us to get the information, they didn’t, so I had to hunt down the phone number and remind them that I needed check in information and was finally able to get in. There was someone else’s earring in the room and sand in the sheets and we hadn’t been in the bed yet or to the beach. There was a cockroach in our shower and a dying out outside. House keeping didn’t come every day to clean the rooms and they came at super random times so there was no way to predict when we could stay or go so we would be shocked by knocking anywhere between 10 and 4:00. Also check out was randomly at 10am….mildly inconvenient and not standard hotel/bnb stay times so that threw off our plans. I wouldn’t stay here again. It was wildly overpriced for the lack of attention to detail and lack of cleanliness
