Days Inn by Wyndham Jacksonville NC

The first problem was that we booked a King room through Expedia and just an hour after booking, we showed up and there were no king rooms available and they straight told us, they have it to “walk-ins” (I’m sure it’s the working girls) Extremely noisy and a lot of obvious non-guest in the parking lot with working girls present on site. The bar is too loud and over serves causing for a lot of violence and emergent services showing up at all hours of the night. The heater in the room didn’t work well, the restroom and back 1/2 of the room was cold. Don’t expect any kind of real breakfast, it’s carve even for a days inn continental.

Pool was not working. And us having 4 children that was one main reason for our stay. No breakfast as was advertised on app.

It was inexpensive. The hotel was connected to a sports bar and a resteraunt. There was no parking when we arrived about 7:30 pm. When checking in the girl was on her cell phone and continued talking through my check in. The walls were so thin you could hear all of the traffic on the road. Then at 1:45 am we had a screaming match go on for a good 30 minutes in the parking lot. My husband called the front desk asking for the police to be called. The desk associate then went outside and asked the man to get quiet. That lasted about 10 mins and it started again. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location was not very good, bar n restaurant in front. Lot of people noise and loud cars late.

At check-in ask not to be roomed close to the bar. I was 3 rooms pass the bar and there was drunken fights until 3am. I called the front desk at 1am to ask they do something about it ,watch 3 different women get slapped in front of my room from my window and peephole. They said they would try to get time to check into it but feel free to call the police..Shower was dirty and falling apart.The toilet paper appeared to been chewed by rats.The parkinglot filled up with locals at 5:30pm with construction workers leaving there restaurant and going to the bar.At least a dozen men walking around parking lot drinking beer.There was people that seemed to be selling drugs out front. Did not feel safe here. There's not many hotels in this area but will never stay here again. People lined up sitting on my air conditioner by my door until 3am.Next morning a huge amount of trash ,cups, cigarettes and beer cans in front of my door. Wanted to add photos but couldn't.

Both of my rooms were very clean. The gentleman and young lady that checked me in was amazing wonderful customer service skills very friendly. .The only issues that I had with this hotel was the bar that's right on the property which left no parking space for those that were renting rooms and a young lady that works at night that gave my husband which both of us are Ministers a very hard time to remagnify our key cards she was very nasty nasty disposition and she appeared to be high on some type of narcotic.

It wasn't as listed. No pool. No breakfast. The floor of the room was nasty and there were roaches and black mold. The ice machine was broken and 2 girls on the morning shift were really rude.

The pool was NASTY. I think it had mosquito larva in it. I bought prewet wash clothes to wash down with to keep from using the towels.they smelled so bad. Bought the clorox floor wipes because we had dogs with us in case of accidents. The pad turned black when I wiped the floor. So I cleaned the as best as I could. There was beating & banging & yelling ALL night long. One of our dogs got extremely sick the week wek after got home. Can't prove it but he's never been sick before.. It was a really bad stay.

Days Inn is clean and comfortable; however, the night I stayed there, there was an outside gathering of about 30 people drinking and smoking weed with their music ridiculously loud that went to about 2:30am. When I called the front office, they acknowledged the problem, but they didn’t do anything about it. In the morning I spoke to the owner about the problem, and he said they are trying to shut down the bar that is on sight. The bar is a nice addition to the hotel; however, it would be nice to be able to sleep at night and not have the hotel windows rattling from the bass of the cars’ stereo systems, while having to listen to drunk people belt out the lyrics of songs.

Tub was cracked and roaches. But it’s no surprise!

Staff was extremely helpful and polite. Excellent customer service. Room floors were rather dirty and I had to wear shoes in my room otherwise the bottoms of my feet would be black, but everything else was very clean (tub, toilet, counters, bed). The location was convenient as it’s close to camp Johnson where my husband is stationed and was a very pleasant extended weekend stay! I will say with the inn being on a busy road you could hear a lot of traffic outside even at night, but overall the positives far out weigh the negatives

we stayed in room 105 on 8/17 and noticed dirty sheets and roaches. We complained and later moved to room 137 hoping that 2nd floor will be better but found a cricket behind the bed in that room at well. I later checked reviews on google and noticed similar complains.

the area outside was filthy.Cigarett butts everywhere...dirty,sticky handrails. the room was clean but had a number broken items.

The front desk lady didn’t even know where the rooms were. She sent me to the wrong side of the motel and had to wonder for 20 min till I found it. The first room I got the cutters were broken off wall and nails on floor. Then changed rooms. The next room had roaches in it. The “breakfast” was slices of wonder bread in plastic bag no toaster no butter no jam just bread. Expired milk and orange juice. Toilet did not flush. Hair dryer did not work. You could hear every car drive by beep they made every n sound felt like it was in the room. There were cockroaches everywhere! Motel did not have soap and I was instructed to go to the hotel next door and ask them for amenities. I was charged twice for the room and did not get a full refund! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

Room was extremely dirty linens and sheets were not cleaned properly and were slained extremely bad including a blood stain. Was scared to even sit on bed. Took a quick shower and dried off with a dirty shirt. Then sleep in the my truck due to be very late we i got off work. Then sleep in truck at walmart for rest of week. Room was very trashy holes in walls stains all over walls door would not hardy even close looked like the swat team kicked it open a few times. There was a sports bar/ beer joint up stairs attached to hotel so their was a extremely high volume of traffic in and out all throughout the night and a hooker hanging out in parking lot. I know it was going to be a bad experience when i get there after working all day and the was a security gaurd/ renta cop in the parking lot. Was giving the run around when trying to check in. I needed to checkin early due to coming in to town for work and was scheduled to be at work before regular checkin and was going to be off work until late at night. Was told i could check in early but was 40 dollars to check in early. I tryed to get them to add it on to my bill but they could not because the company i work for had pre paid before my arrival. Also there was a 100 dollar room deposit that was not advertised online. So i spent over a hour going across town to find a bank branch that i bank with a get cash all to betold that there were no rooms like the room that my reservation was for ready for early checkin by same clerk

It is in a very noisy area. Many of the cars driving by were excessively loud. People were loud late at night and I was awakened 2 different nights by people yelling. When I told the desk clerk about the hair dryer with a smashed plug, he acted very disinterested. He said he would have someone look at it. Apparently whatever was on his phone was more important.

The bed felt like we were sleeping on a rock. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. The noise from the cars going back and forth right next to our hotel room was horrendous. You could hear motorcycles going. It's right next to a busy road. The noise was an issue and the bed was an issue. I would never stay there again. Plus when I got there they insisted we pay in full and then they tried to double charge me. Luckily my bank called me and asked me if the charge was correct on my debit card after they had already charged my credit card.

The facility is fine, with a clean, upgraded room, and the bed was comfortable. But the hotel is on a busy road, especially early in the morning and can be loud (especially if motorcycles are passing by).

Stayed multiple nights. First night they never even made my bed or cleaned my room & I was out all day. When the person manning the front desk left to pick up her child, the persons left behind didn't know how to check guests w/ reservations in. My check-in took ~30 min. When my room key stopped working the maid manning the desk wasn't sure if she could leave the desk or if she had the right master key to let me in. I told her that I had worked a full day & someone had to find a way to let me into the room. The wi-fi code didn't work, so I gave up. The free breakfast was skimpy--I arrived at 6 am & no orange juice. Noisy--refrigerator truck outside my door ran all night. The next night a loud arguing couple came in at 1:30 am & left at 5:30 am--still loudly arguing. I would never stay here again!

For one night & bed = ok

This place is horrible. The owner screamed at me because i asked him why he charged a $50 fee on my credit card. I reserved a king bed they put me in a double bed without saying anything. The tv was broken so they moved me to a room that was already rented.. i was moved again to another room. The door handle was broken. The tub was clogged and full of water. There was black hair all over the bed sheets when i called to ask to be moved again the owner hung up on me. This place is beyond horrible

Was not allowed to check in due to system malfunction

Entry door latch was barely operational. I had to have my keycard reset many times.Hairdryer didn’t work. I was charged multiple times for a 2 night stay. Staff was friendly but charges have yet to be reversed

Everything else about the stay was fine, but someone had been checked into my room under my name prior to arrival without ID. It took a long time and a lot of confirmation before we were offered a different room.

I did not like being forced to stand outside in the cold to check into my room when there was a nice warm entry room to check in that was LOCKED. Felt like I was ordering at CookOut.

The night time receptionist is excellent. She made sure to switch my room timely when there was a problem. I'll come back

I paid for my room through my Apple Pay Mastercard and when my family and I arrive they wouldn’t let us have our room because I dont have a physical card. I have my iD The room is paid for! I don’t understand! And they didn’t want to give my money back! Expedia I need my hard earned money refunded please. So i had to drive around for an hour to find a place for my family! So we found a place and paid with Apple Pay and had no problem. So Expedia please contact me about my days inn refund in Jackson NC

Mikayla, the daytime manager, was very rude to us. Constantly, knocking on our door and trying to kick us out even though we had paid. We were overcharged for our 2nd week and double charged for our last day. The housekeepers and night-time staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The way we were treated by Mikayla was uncalled for as well as, the way she treats her staff is terrible. This has really upset me because I truly love the location. Something truly needs to be done about the daytime management. Mikayla was very nasty toward my fiancé who is disabled & Autistic. The owners and staff are amazing, but manager Mikayla has made our stay the worst we have ever experienced.

Bed was comfortable. Shower was niece. Easy access from highway.

First two nights had us worried. Lots of police in the parking lot. I asked one how safe the area was. She said "not the safest area.... just stay in at night" the next three nights were nice. Overall we were satisand would recommend.

Location is perfect. Room has nice. The only negative was the shower. It needs to be updated. Place was quiet. I am able to sleep in. Dunkin a few blocks away, in walking distance. Across the street plenty of shopping options. Staff was friendly.

There was riff raff hanging out in parking lot. My car alarm went off at 2 am when my husband walked outside 3 men were off to the side asking if my husband was gonna fight them now since they touched our car? Was rough. I couldn’t wait to leave. I felt completely unsafe. Was worst days inn I’ve ever stayed in.

The woman who checked me in was very kind and friendly, the restaurant was good. The room was comfortable.

Perfect price point for what you received. No breakfast items left at 8:30 but the coffee was good

Nice little place quiet nice little restaurant in the front good Mexican food full bar. Great service front desk was very friendly rooms are clean. She gave me one in the back. Very quiet stopped in for a layover. If ever back in the area would we’ll stay again recommend the place definitely a great value for the price

The 1st room I was given didn't have working heat, when I told the desk clerk I was told that it didn't work the previous weekend and had to repack my stuff to get moved into a different room. Then when I went to the "limited" breakfast the 1st morning there wasn't even milk out for the cereal and only 1 danish type thing.

Not as described, place wasn't clean no coffee or juice for breakfast only oatmeal and mini muffins...rooms need work and matress need to be changed please clean up your bathroom's
