No AC working in the room for my whole stay! Even after letting the staff know, False information they were going to repair it, but was never done! No television in the rooms! No soap, no shampoo nor rinse in packets! no clean towels nor room cleanliness!

The lady I checked in was nice. I just didn’t like that they didn’t have parking you had to find your own parking around the area. Other than that everything was good.

The private room was a very nice place to stay in. Other people staying in the other rooms are accommodating to one another on loudness and keeping the shared kitchen clean. At the moment the stove isn’t working so that was pretty inconvenient being we brought food to cook. Parking around the area is also very limited, no parking lot. Staff was very helpful and sweet. Would stay again despite the little things.

Positives: Kitchen & ground fl bathroom were relatively clean. Peaceful little backyard. Close to public transportation & center of K-town. Negatives: Cramped rms. Noisy, ghetto people staying on the ground fl long-term (blasted rap/gospel music in the rm & talked loudly on the phone in the rm at all hrs). Guests can't use the stove. No dishes, pots etc in the kitchen. Wifi not working (I tried several times to connect but couldn't). Lackluster customer service from elderly lady working & living there. She also gave me a towel that had stains & a hole in it.

No storage lockers so you can't keep your valuables safe (they said that they are ordering them and the whole place appeared to be under construction). No real reception area. Kitchen has no dishes. Bathrooms and kitchen weren't the cleanest, even though the building is new. Dorm room doors have no locks on them. Hangout area is one tiny table. Not a comfortable space and I left after one night.

30$/day too much for the hostel. 1. Poor check-in organization. No one answered the phone. They didn't send the gate code. 2. The building is new. My room had 10 beds and only 1 bathroom. The room was small, and I could reach the beds on both sides. 3. The kitchen had limited space, with only one table and two chairs, one refrigerator, and no storage cabinets. 4.The A/C was set to 68F ALWAYS

The biggest issue was finding parking. I arrive late at night (after 9 pm) and I drove around the entire area looking for a space and settled for one that was about 1/2 mile away. The kitchen was fine, but I only used the refrigerator. It worked well. The room was adequate, but sparse. No place to hang up clothes on hangers, no chair, and the shower curtain was 1 foot off the floor, so water splashes out of the enclosure. One full sized towel was provided, but no soap for the shower, no hand towel, no wash rag and no toilet paper dispenser. Very clean and the entire place is new. The shared space could use a couch and a larger table and more chairs. There is no TV anywhere.

This place seems to be intended as a long term low cost boarding house with no amenities. Which is fine if expectations were aligned, but I found it on google presented as a 3-star hotel/inn. There is no sound proofing and I can hear phone text message alerts upstairs.

Quiet but very bare place in the middle of K-town. No decorations. No trash cans in bathrooms. Kitchen only has plastic cups & paper plates. Shared room I was in was spacious, air-conditioned & had view of DTLA. Mattress & pillow seemed new. Mostly clean, except for bathroom floors. Russian girls working there don't mop the floors or knock before entering rooms.

Smelly rooms, inconsiderate other guests, crowded, poorly laid out (lockers in worst possible inaccessible place), saw roaches, couldn’t use stove/oven, creakiest unsturdy beds. Only plus is good location and front desk lady was fine

The staff was amazing. And the house couldn't be any cleaner. However, they are in an inconvenient location. I had to Uber everywhere.

Building seems brand new, nice bathroom and bed was comfortable. Could use more thought out amenities. Received towels and toilet paper but many overlooked details. Could use bins in bathroom and hooks for hanging towels, there was no hand towel, no shower ledge for placing items or soap and shampoo. Nice space and clean but very bare bones. Area seems safe.

Overall I had a great stay. Checking out was a bit difficult, but other than that it was quiet. I stayed in my room as I didn’t need to use the common area. I called ahead to ensure they knew what time I’d be coming.

This stay was terrible. We couldn’t sleep due to everybody else that was screaming past 11 P.M. disrespectful and waking up at all hours of the night. They need to increase the prices of the stay here because they are attracting clients who don’t understand Mutual respect when you are in a co shared space. The manager of the building was neutral. We let her know that our stay was terrible, and she let us know that it was better than driving through the night. :/ The shower is slippery. We let the manager know. The place is new, so the amenities are brand new, and I’m not sure how long that will stay that way. Given the client tell they’re attracting.

I was not able to open the link they sent me with check in instructions and the outside gate code, so I called 3 times over 5 minutes, no one answered, so I had to climb over the fence in the rain.

DONT BOOK. Not a real property. Number on file does not work it is disconnected! I was never able to get the lock box code. I was on site and nobody was able to help me. I had to sleep in my car. I got at the property at 2pm to check in just as stated and never got any response.

Although two of us arrived early for checking in to the private room by 2:00pm, the property manager arrived late and we had to check-in at 3:00pm. The housekeeper was amazingly accommodating and a hard worker, she let us stay in the common areas to avoid the heat while we waited. She made arrival much more pleasant of an experience.

The service was great. Leah the check-in person, is very kind and helpful. However, we had a huge issue with other guests’ behavior. This is a shared space and some of the other guests were insanely disrespectful and disruptive. On Wednesday night (our first night) the other occupants were in the shared kitchen making excessive noise from 2-4 AM! This pattern continued through the rest of the nights there. On Friday, a guest went into a rage a was screaming at Leah and just losing her mind. Banging on doors and screaming and screeching about “stolen money”. Not to mention the housekeepers loudly discussing the that some guests left BEDBUGS behind. We were planning on extending our sta but clearly did not. Unfortunate because the first time we stayed here we had no issues.

They gave away my RESERVED & PAID room to other guests and instead put me in a room with 7 other people. It was co-ed and there was a drunk man, I felt unsafe. There is no way to contact them at all. Their phone is full so you can’t even leave a message. I requested a refund and they have not approved this. Avoid if you can.

I wish I could share a positive experience, but I had quite the hassle with this property. A few weeks before my check-in date, my plans changed, and I needed to cancel my reservation. I tried reaching out to the hotel multiple times to get a refund for my expedia credit, but nobody responded. I even had Expedia step in to help, and they couldn't get through either. It’s really frustrating not getting any communication back when you’re trying to resolve something like this. Since I never stayed there, I can't comment on the room or the amenities, but the lack of response from the management left me feeling disappointed. I just hope others have better luck than I did!

The lady I checked in was nice. I just didn’t like that they didn’t have parking you had to find your own parking around the area. Other than that everything was good.

The private room was a very nice place to stay in. Other people staying in the other rooms are accommodating to one another on loudness and keeping the shared kitchen clean. At the moment the stove isn’t working so that was pretty inconvenient being we brought food to cook. Parking around the area is also very limited, no parking lot. Staff was very helpful and sweet. Would stay again despite the little things.

Positives: Kitchen & ground fl bathroom were relatively clean. Peaceful little backyard. Close to public transportation & center of K-town. Negatives: Cramped rms. Noisy, ghetto people staying on the ground fl long-term (blasted rap/gospel music in the rm & talked loudly on the phone in the rm at all hrs). Guests can't use the stove. No dishes, pots etc in the kitchen. Wifi not working (I tried several times to connect but couldn't). Lackluster customer service from elderly lady working & living there. She also gave me a towel that had stains & a hole in it.

I booked for 2 nights but ended up leaving at 6am after staying 1 night. The lady who checked me in could not have been nicer. However, that is where the positives end for me sadly. There is absolutely no privacy in this guest house. There is a code for the main door, which is the same code for the outside gate but no locks on rooms. There are also no lockers so I knew that my belongings would not be safe. There are ‘rules’ for the guesthouse which are not followed, people talking loudly on phones in the rooms after midnight and playing music all night long, food in the rooms, etc. It seems like the guest house caters to people who stay for prolonged periods of time as my room was very crowded with other people’s belongings. Hardly got any sleep due to the noise and felt so uncomfortable about the lack of security. Won’t be staying here again.
