From the moment you arrive, Camp DeForest strikes a balance between retro charm and contemporary comfort. The cabins and lodge rooms are beautifully refurbished with thoughtful design touches, vintage-inspired decor, and amenities like heated floors, cozy furnishings, and quality bedding that make you feel instantly at ease.

Room was spotless and beautifully put together, in my opinion. Huge fan of MCM and camp theme so wow, just perfect . Perfectly perfect, as Moostletoe says. Thank you so much. Staff beyond accommodating and kind. The office is cozy and the continental breakfast, though simple, is campy and clearly high quality. Home made sourdough bread, I believe I heard.

This is a magical place. Feels like an upscale summer camp. The rooms and lounge are so beautifully decorated. We stayed in one of the private cabins. The heated floors in the bathroom were so nice in the late fall. Everything was so comfortable. I think kids would really love this. I know we adults did. Would love to go back.
