Great location near the beautiful Maspolomas beach. The grounds were well designed and beautifully maintained. Buffet breakfast gave you excellent choice. The staf were friendly . The meal we had in the Botanicas Restaurant was superb

Weitläufige sehr gepflegte Anlage mit traumhafter Ausstattung und tollem Service. Rekordverdächtiges Frühstücksbuffet. Absolutes 5 Sterne Erlebnis. Mietwagen Nutzer haben gelegentlich mit Parkplatz Problemen zu kämpfen. Diese sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung begrenzt und begehrt.

Hotel advertises parking for guests and only has a 20 spot lot for 1000 rooms does not make senses. Needless to say I got towed parking on the street and decided to find a hotel that has parking and customer service. (Salobre - very nice). Did I get a refund for early check out for a room I never used? No. So thanks agai RIU. Wo t be back👍

This is a nice hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, very clean. Food (breakfast and dinner buffet) OK. Very limited parking on hotel grounds, you have to rely on parking outside, can be difficult to find a place during day time as it is a popular area, very close to the beach.

Flott hotell med 3 bassenger og stort hageanlegg med palmer. Nær strand og butikker og restauranter i Meloneras. Få barn på hotellet. Hadde halvpensjon som var frokost og middagsbuffet. Rikelig utvalg. Kunne også velge to restauranter med tre-retter. Ikke like god kvalitet. Hyggelig personale overalt!

Highlight des Hotels ist definitiv der einzigartige Palmengarten. Auch die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Das Hotel verfügt über drei Pools, welche auch nie überlaufen wirken. Das Zimmer war groß und in sehr gutem Zustand. Sehr gutes Essen beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen. Was man beim Buffet schon merkte war die Größe des Hotels: sehr viele Menschen rund um die Essensausgabe. Ein weiterer kleiner Nachteil ist die geringe Wassertiefe von nur 1.1m bei den drei Pools. Der Strand ist durch ein mit Karte gesichertes Tor gut erreichbar, jedoch zum Baden nicht ganz ideal (trübes Wasser durch sehr feinen Sand und teilweise steinig). Ein Problem war die Parkplatzsituation (viel zu klein für die Größe des Hotels und rund ums Hotel alles zugeparkt). Alles in allem war es jedenfalls ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Probably one pf the cleaneat hotels I’ve stayed in. Very spacious, marble is spotless. Excellent room keeping. Sad views from balcony to parking lot but seaview was very expensive. Good breakfast with everything. Effective bar service by pool. Two beautiful pool areas and lovely palms everywhere. Bery central to bars and reataurants, five steps from beach. Only fault: too hard beds and no duvets, only blankets. I asked for softwr matrass and they arranged a softer top matrass that helped a bit. No free water. Pool heated to 24°C. Plenty chairs and towels.

This was a last minute booking but we found the hotel to be excellent on all levels and would recommend to friends and family we found the staff to be friendly and professional not like many 5 star hotels we have visited and the staff seemed to forget you are the guest and they are there for you well done all at the Riu Oasis

A pasear de que todo estuvo bien, me sucedió que no cambiaron las sábanas y al irme a la cama tuve que ir a la recepción a pedir que las cambiatt re an ya que estaban llenas de pelo, y me dijeron que tenía que rellenar una hoja en la habitación para que cambiaran las sábanas, pero en toda la habitación no se encontró nada . De resto, las instalaciones, el servicio, el pesonal y la gran mayoría de todo excelente

Llegamos un jueves al Riu Palace Oasis y desde el primer momento supimos que sería especial: el chico de las maletas nos recibió con gran amabilidad, en recepción todo fueron sonrisas y soluciones pese a llegar antes del check-in, y mientras preparaban la habitación nos invitaron a desayunar y a un cóctel; en menos de una hora subimos a una estancia en planta alta, con cama matrimonial, limpieza impecable, buenas vistas y aislamiento perfecto, además de un servicio de limpieza rapidísimo; el hotel funciona en media pensión y las cenas fueron abundantes, variadas y de calidad, servidas por un personal encantador que disfruta su trabajo; nunca escuchamos un “no”: desde pequeños gestos hasta gestionar transporte por un vuelo temprano o atendernos cuando me sentí mal, todo se resolvió con rapidez; las bebidas no están incluidas pero los precios son correctos y la carta amplia; al ser un hotel familiar hay niños en las piscinas y en verano el agua puede sentirse caliente, aunque los jardines son preciosos y el acceso directo a la playa y el ambiente tranquilo hacen que la experiencia sea única; en resumen, la mejor estancia de nuestras vidas y, tras vivirla, volveremos y nos haremos socios de Riu.

Llegamos un jueves al Riu Palace Oasis y desde el primer momento supimos que sería especial: el chico de las maletas nos recibió con gran amabilidad, en recepción todo fueron sonrisas y soluciones pese a llegar antes del check-in, y mientras preparaban la habitación nos invitaron a desayunar y a un cóctel; en menos de una hora subimos a una estancia en planta alta, con cama matrimonial, limpieza impecable, buenas vistas y aislamiento perfecto, además de un servicio de limpieza rapidísimo; el hotel funciona en media pensión y las cenas fueron abundantes, variadas y de calidad, servidas por un personal encantador que disfruta su trabajo; nunca escuchamos un “no”: desde pequeños gestos hasta gestionar transporte por un vuelo temprano o atendernos cuando me sentí mal, todo se resolvió con rapidez; las bebidas no están incluidas pero los precios son correctos y la carta amplia; al ser un hotel familiar hay niños en las piscinas y en verano el agua puede sentirse caliente, aunque los jardines son preciosos y el acceso directo a la playa y el ambiente tranquilo hacen que la experiencia sea única; en resumen, la mejor estancia de nuestras vidas y, tras vivirla, volveremos y nos haremos socios de Riu.

Very enjoyable stay at lovely hotel. Excellent location for beach and Meloneras beach bars and restaurants nearby. We had a sea view room on the 5th floor and the views of the sea and lighthouse were spectacular. Also the balcony was a sheltered sun trap which was ideal on windy days. The buffet breakfast and dinner had lots of choice and variety which was nice including a things like freshly cooked steaks, fish and shell fish in the evenings. The staff in the hotel were the most friendly we have met in our many holidays. Everyone said hello with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. For those not on a budget definitely worth a visit and we plan to return.

Brilliant stay! Staff were wonderful from the first moment. Half board food amazing! We had the private swim up pool, which was a lovely novelty. Only one thing was that the room safe shouldn't be an extra at this level of hotel but really, thats the only niggle.

No ocean view. Our room view was of the parking area and approach to the hotel reception. Also view of the road to the beach. So a lot of people watching, if you are so inclined. The walk in shower was large enough to hold a family. The gardens are lovely for having a walk. The food selection was great and delicious.

Very pleasant stay. Large rooms, excellent facilities, very convenient for Maspalomas beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Superb buffet breakfast. Disappointing that drinking water is not provided free of charge in the rooms.

Bra hotell som passer både for voksne og barnefamilier. Rett ved Strand og kort avstand til lokale restauranter.Rommet var pusset opp og var av god skandinavisk stil, uten badekar men romslig dusj. Så dette «solstolmafia»: solstoler ble okkupert med badehåndklær hver morgen uten at noen brukte dem.☹️Forbudet sto på hotellregler men ingen av personellet brydde seg om å følge opp og/ eller fjerne håndklær. Generelt et meget bra hotell for avslappende ferie.

The room was ok. But it was noisy from corridor as soon the cleaning started at 7.30 in the morning. We had a pool room. but it was small and not private. Residents above dropped e.g cigarettes on our sun beds and in the pool. Our parasoll was also broken. Breakfast was very good. The dining was ok, but not as you could expect in a 5 star hotel.

The best thing… the shower! Hot and lots of water pressure. Hotel seems expensive for what you get. Our room had a small outdoor sitting area that faced a brick wall. The rest of the hotel grounds looked quite nice though. Dinner buffet was extensive and delicious. Beach area was fun to walk, good for cheap food options and souvenirs and lots of Lou gets to rent at reasonable price.

We stayed in a swim out suite and it was lovely. Almost 4ft deep and always the perfect temperature. The main pools were not as big as I expected however they were beautiful and never looked overly crowded. The location was great. We were able to walk to the dunes to the left and to the right there were miles of stores, restaurants, other beaches and even a mall. The lighthouse is also very close. The food was good at the Promenade and the specialty restaurants were exceptional in every way. The staff was very helpful and even let us use an adapter because we didn’t think about the European outlets when packing. It was also a very safe place to walk around. There’s a nude beach a short distance to the right of the hotels private beach. One of RiUs sister resorts is also a walkable distance from RIU palace oasis.

This was a last minute booking but we found the hotel to be excellent on all levels and would recommend to friends and family we found the staff to be friendly and professional not like many 5 star hotels we have visited and the staff seemed to forget you are the guest and they are there for you well done all at the Riu Oasis

3rd year we have stayed with them, excellent service from the staff as always. It’s great to turn up at the hotel, and be thoroughly looked after during the stay. With easy access to the beach to watch the sun rise or set, and should you want a change of scene from the hotel, plenty of restaurants and bars along the seafront - all of which are easily accessible to the rear of the hotel. Plenty of sun lounges, but there are definitely some keen beans who like to reserve them before the sun has even come up.

We had a great 5-day stay at the hotel. The staff (except one), service and food were all perfect. After our checkout, we had an hour until our transfer and made the mistake of sitting at the outside part of the bar. The bar manager was very keen on patronizing and educating us on what is “normal” and what is not. Finally, when he took the chair off the field, saying “this is not normal” for our swimwear to dry on an outside bar chair, I couldn’t take it longer and had to leave the bar. It practically ruined our stay - and let me say - the effort everyone put together to provide the perfect service. If it is the case that such swimwear is not allowed to dry at that bar, perhaps there are other ways to tell and help the customer, instead of almost insulting at every interaction m.

Llegamos un jueves al Riu Palace Oasis y desde el primer momento supimos que sería especial: el chico de las maletas nos recibió con gran amabilidad, en recepción todo fueron sonrisas y soluciones pese a llegar antes del check-in, y mientras preparaban la habitación nos invitaron a desayunar y a un cóctel; en menos de una hora subimos a una estancia en planta alta, con cama matrimonial, limpieza impecable, buenas vistas y aislamiento perfecto, además de un servicio de limpieza rapidísimo; el hotel funciona en media pensión y las cenas fueron abundantes, variadas y de calidad, servidas por un personal encantador que disfruta su trabajo; nunca escuchamos un “no”: desde pequeños gestos hasta gestionar transporte por un vuelo temprano o atendernos cuando me sentí mal, todo se resolvió con rapidez; las bebidas no están incluidas pero los precios son correctos y la carta amplia; al ser un hotel familiar hay niños en las piscinas y en verano el agua puede sentirse caliente, aunque los jardines son preciosos y el acceso directo a la playa y el ambiente tranquilo hacen que la experiencia sea única; en resumen, la mejor estancia de nuestras vidas y, tras vivirla, volveremos y nos haremos socios de Riu.

The hotel is beautiful and has everything you want. We arrived an hour early and weren't able to check in early. Unfortunately the staff didn’t make it clear so we had to stand around and weren't able to access our room until after 4pm. We were given a welcome drink but we kept being told 15 more mins and it wasn't. It would have been helpful to be explicit from the beginning. The breakfast was immense and the beach access was really helpful.

What a wonderful place to stay in Gran Canaria, the hotel was beautifully presented, with great food options and super friendly staff. Location is perfect, right by the beach, sand dunes and promenade. Bus station located outside for easy access to other areas of the island. Would have been great if there were a little more options in their kids zone like water park. Overall highly recommend.

Rikelig utvalg. Kunne også velge to restauranter med tre-retter. Ikke like god kvalitet. Hyggelig personale overalt!

Nice hotel, great staff, food a bit average but huge selection. Nice location. Had a swim up room, very nice. Evening entertainment was ok Queen tribute band excellent though. Too many trees, extra to use the room safe but on the whole good hotel. Might well return.

This was our second stay at the hotel following a weeks break the same time last year. As before the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has excellent facilities and is in a nice seafront location for Meloneras. This time we just had B&B rather than H&B like last time even though the food was good to try some local restaurants. The only disappointment was we choose to dine in the hotel one evening and were charged €45s each three times the cost of booking through Hotel.com! Also this time we again had a room on the 5th floor as requested to enjoy the view but unlike last year we were put into block 1 where our view of the sea was somewhat blocked due to another hotel and palm trees which was disappointing. However all our stay was very pleasant.

Second time we have stayed here, staff are still as attentive as they were on our first visit. Food maybe not as good as our first visit. Staff looking after the rooms make sure your room is tidy, and around 5pm they check in to see if you need new towels. Turn down service happens early evening. Well looked after. And always smiling and saying hello. Food/restaurants. Krystal only visited the once, nice atmosphere and good food. A little hurried, although think it might have been us. Most people were in and out within 1.5 hours. Think we preferred a bit more time to chat and enjoy the meal, got hurried out of the restaurant for the next sitting. Main buffet, great selection at breakfast and plenty of fruit. Dinner wasn’t as good as our first visit, variety this time wasn’t as great. Some days it was the same meal as the night before. Waiting staff looked after us well. General area, pool and bars were clean. Not too busy and plenty of places to soak up the sun. Although a few people are crazy with putting towels out, I was up at 6am and towels had already been put down (pitch black). Gym was in good working order, range or cardio and strengthening machines. Yoga on the lawn each day. Don’t have kids, but there was a kids club, not many kids there, 3 top. They seemed to be having fun though. It is a great location to quickly jump onto the sand and wander the beach. And then head right and there are bars and restaurants, and a bit of shopping.

Excellent location right close to the beach, promenade. Lovely grounds, swimming pools. Wonderful staff very friendly and polite. My gripe is that there was no free mineral water in room on arrival, were so in the fridge but chargeable. Also we had half board again no free complementary water. We had to purchase it. We have been to other hotel chains where they were not so stingy

Flott hotell med 3 bassenger og stort hageanlegg med palmer. Nær strand og butikker og restauranter i Meloneras. Få barn på hotellet. Hadde halvpensjon som var frokost og middagsbuffet. Rikelig utvalg. Kunne også velge to restauranter med tre-retter. Ikke like god kvalitet. Hyggelig personale overalt!

This is a wonderful hotel and worth every penny. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and provide an incredible service. The hotel gardens were beautiful. The direct access to the beach was a plus. We booked a swim up room in the quieter part of the hotel, which was amazing and away from public access. We booked half board, there were plenty of breakfast and dinner options. However, I would just like to add, the dinner options could be labelled with a bit more details as not all food was labelled correctly. Especially the vegetarian/vegan options. We found that even the chefs were unable to confirm if food included meat, fish or eggs. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, as we avoided eating certain dishes, but it would be nice to be able to try food that was available without having to worry about what was in it. Overall, thank you for a lovely stay, I would definitely recommend to others and return in the future.

Expérience très décevante, tant avec Riu qu’avec Hotels.com. Nous avions réservé pour 2 adultes et nos 2 enfants de 3 et 6 ans, mais à notre arrivée, Riu avait reçu des informations différentes et nous a réclamé environ 1 600 € supplémentaires. Malgré notre confirmation Hotels.com indiquant clairement « 2 adults, 2 children », aucune solution n’a été trouvée. Nous avons dû payer le supplément pour pouvoir passer la première nuit, puis quitter l’hôtel dès le lendemain et trouver un nouvel hébergement en urgence. Depuis, Riu et Hotels.com se renvoient la responsabilité, alors que nous avons supporté seuls les conséquences de leur discordance : surcoût, pertes financières, stress et vacances perturbées. Une expérience particulièrement décevante de la part de deux grandes enseignes.

Das Hotel RIU Palace Oasis war tatsächlich das erste Hotel in Maspalomas, und obwohl es bereits ein älteres Haus ist, wurde es komplett renoviert und hat seinen ursprünglichen Charme dabei voll bewahrt. Heute ist es ein wunderbares Fünf-Sterne-Hotel mit einer besonderen Seele und einer wirklich gepflegten Palmenlandschaft – man fühlt sich dort tatsächlich wie in einer Oase. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt, direkt am Strand. Wenn man von der Promenade durch die Strandtür tritt, ist es wunderbar ruhig und angenehm. Das Publikum ist meist etwas älter, was für eine besonders entspannte, ruhige und gediegene Atmosphäre sorgt. Hier kann man so richtig abschalten. Ich kann das Hotel wirklich jedem nur empfehlen.

Hotel and staff amazing, spotlessly clean and everyone from cleaners to reception really friendly. Pool situation I couldn’t fault anything. Proximaty to beach 10/10. But for me the food served at Breakfast & Dinner was out of this world, both the varied selection and quality of what we were eating was absolutely outstanding in my opinion. Bar snacks & staff I couldn’t fault, all in all we spent 16 pretty faultless days here and will most definitely revisit, 100%. If I’m being overly critical the evening entertainment was pretty poor most nights but to be fair most hotels I’ve visited the entertainment is rubbish!…. So based on that I’ll score this hotel 9.5/10.. they say nothings perfect but as far as holidays go this wasn’t far off!
