The room was lovely although small for a superior. There was no free bottle of water or tea/coffee making equipment which is the normal for a Parador. The staff did provide these after we asked for them. Bed was very comfortable, bar staff were very nice although service a little slow. Food was delicious in the restaurant. The building was beautiful with very pleasing decorations. Would recommend this area especially for the gorge swimming areas.

Lovely hotel, but let down by poor quality cuts of meat and manic rushing staff who took longer to explain why they didn't have time to take a quick photo than actually taking a photo. If we stayed again we would avoid the evening meal and have breakfast in, as the breakfast was excellent, we explained about the beef being inedible but it sadly fell on death ears. Our room overlooked the carpark which wasn't so nice but the room itself was very nice.

I really enjoyed this parador. It’s a beautiful facility and decorated very nicely. Has a lovely patio to sit out and have a cocktail. The pool is great. Very natural setting. Which I enjoyed a lot. I definitely recommend this hotel.

A memorable stay in one of the most beautiful Paradores of Spain. The castle where the Emperor Charles V used to stay, has a rich historic past. The strikingly beautiful Renaissance style court yard is the perfect setting for the restaurant and the bar. Food is excellent. The traditional regional dishes come with a twist. Unfortunately, breakfast is served only indoors. The pool is outdoors and you have to cross the moat. There is no pool bar, but you will find plenty of stretchers shaded by large trees. And you can see and hear the storks flying by and nesting on the towers. The only downside is the street noise which you hear in the pool area and in the rooms, unless you keep the windows closed. At night all is quiet. The rooms are elegant and well appointed with large bathrooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Price quality relation is very good.

Vriendelijk personeel, prachtige locatie, mooie binnenplaats om te relaxen. Ontbijt was ook prima, alleen jammer dat het zwembad nog niet open was.
