What a fascinating hotel for one night stay in a town that is good to visit. Grandiose hall and stair with amazing ceiling. Fabulous hotel. Rooms are old and some parts need upgrading but it adds to the charm of this cost effective stay. Nice breakfast too. Had an incredible meal at the restaurant but was rushed between starter and main and barely finished I had the bill on my table. It was May Day so they wanted to go home. But would go back. Absolutely fab place to stay…

Good value for money, the hotel can be described as "old and charming", cleaning was very good and rooms spacious with a very central location.
