Room and beds are great. I didnt like that the ice machine was broken, had to go out and buy some. Then went for a swim and found the hot tub not in service. That's why i rated low.

This hotel is under construction in some rooms. The sports bar was not open…the ice machine had no ice. The rooms that we booked were SO dark…they definitely need more/better lighting. The beds were comfy. The bathroom amenities (shampoo etc) were really nice. Free breakfast was good. In my opinion, this hotel is highly over-priced.

Wow. This was such a nice place to stay. Very rustic. Huge breakfast with actual glass plates. And real cutlery. They have a great coffe/tea bar. Nice pool. Definitely worth the stay. .

The art on this property is absolutely gorgeous. The only disappointment was the hot tub wasn't full of water, but otherwise a great place to stay.

Although we were in an unrenovated room it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was fine but room temperature butter and fresh oatmeal daily would have been nice. The pool was warm! 89 degrees which I loved but the floors are extremely slippery if you have little ones. Overall, a good experience and we will return

Excellent! Staff helped bring bags up few stairs to room. No elevator. Hot tub blocked off as undergoing restoration. Pool large, clean. Both deep and shallow. Would happily return to this Inn!

Stayed with my child and had a mixed experience. The hot tub was out of service, and we found a pile of ants in the first room. Staff denied it, and no compensation was offered. The second room had broken fixtures, no toiletries, and a dirty cloth in the shower. The pool was fine, and one staff member at breakfast was friendly. This hotel has potential, but right now it feels neglected and run-down.

The lobby was very nice. Hot tub closed. The room's lighting was dim and tired looking. The curtain does not has sheers behind the curtain so you cant use natural light without people walking past your window.

The rooms are tiny but clean. I suggest bringing your own pillow if you can. They're old and chunky. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Some of the rooms don't have windows, so I suggest specifically asking for a window if you want one.

Room very small, difficult to open door to fridge or to store luggage and while bowl sink is part of decor it severely limits counter space. Pool closed entire weekend, chairs uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable and staff helpful, able to provide small ironing board and iron as none in room. No cooked items in breakfast choices.

Room was clean and in good condition but there was no window, and no closet or wardrobe to hang up clothing. The TV was not plugged in and we had to move the dresser in order to plug it in. The hot tub was out of order. Breakfast was mediocre - muffins and one of the hot offerings was out and not replenished while we were there.

All in all it was not bad I have has much worse. A few minor improvements could be used such as fixing the toilet handle as that was loose, putting stripping or something on the bottom of the entry door to the door as there is a major gap there. The staff was not there for check out and not was to let them know I wanted to check and had I question on my way out. Again over all the room was nice for the price and it was nice to have a fireplace.

The rooms have been updated. Unfortunately the room we stayed in had a window that went no where, it was boarded up from the outside. So we had no natural light at all coming in. There was only 1 overhead light, a light on the desk and one in the bathroom. The pictures showed 2 beside the bed but we did not have them. The floor was a bit sticky in spots, as the glue was coming thru the cracks in the floor. The bathroom had paint in the trim. This room was not ready to rent out yet. I really wanted a hot tub after a long trip, unfortunately it was not in service and it was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful, quiet and the breakfast was decent.

We stayed here a few years ago and absolutely loved it. So we booked it again but we were disappointed but for specific reasons. The pub was closed. We were looking forward to eating there as the food was great. The room hvac. The A/C was iced up and we couldn’t open the windows. This indicates poor maintenance however, the night desk person was kind enough to bring me a fan. So service wise everyone was kind but hotel wise it wasn’t as good as before. There were other little nitpicky things not worth mentioning as it won’t take away from your overall experience.

Not enough staff. Had to wait at front desk for 10 minutes for someone to show up and check me in. The shower didn’t drain so when I called to have it fixed the same person showed up to check on it and nobody fixed it.

The check in process was a disaster, the front desk clerk after 20 min attempting to check us in, gave up and asked me to have a seat while he helped others in line. After we finally got a room key only to find the room was still dirty and this was after 4pm. They gave us another room but the whole process toke over an hour and they refused to do anything to compensate us after paying $185 for a simple room. We will go to Super 8 next time!

We have stayed before and used to frequent when we lived there when the restaurant and bar were open. The only issue we had was the check in, everything was fine until the ID. I do have a passport and use this always for check in purposes but it was not good enough here as it did not show my address. As we travel often this is the first time this has occurred anywhere. We also had an issue with check in when he found out there were 3 of us in the room. When I booked the room I booked it for 3 people and my confirmation shows all these details. When I paid the damage deposit for 200.00 dollars and he found out there was a third person he became upset. I did not hide anything and he just dismissed me at this point and said it was fine but seemed to imply I should have been paying more. I did let the young lady who checked me out know as well about this unusual incident and just wanted to know what the issue may have been. The cleaning staff were very welcoming along with the young lady taking care of the breakfast and the other front desk staff were all great.

The desk clerk went out of his way to make sure we got a room. We were very tired and had only cash and no credit card. He explained that we could use our debit card to reserve online. Im not very good at doing things like that so he took my phone and did it for me. Extremely helpful.

We stayed here as a family and the staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Breakfast was good. Kids loved the pool. First time in this area and lots of food options were walkable from the hotel.

Unfortunately they had no coffee and said they would not have any until a truck arrived and they didn’t know when that would happen. Other than that it is a great place.

This hotel is under construction in some rooms. The sports bar was not open…the ice machine had no ice. The rooms that we booked were SO dark…they definitely need more/better lighting. The beds were comfy. The bathroom amenities (shampoo etc) were really nice. Free breakfast was good. In my opinion, this hotel is highly over-priced.

Beds were comfortable and clean. Room had no window which was odd. Also hot tub was down, restaurant was closed and breakfast looked like it was 2 weeks old. Used to be a very nice place but seems to be going down hill

Room very small, difficult to open door to fridge or to store luggage and while bowl sink is part of decor it severely limits counter space. Pool closed entire weekend, chairs uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable and staff helpful, able to provide small ironing board and iron as none in room. No cooked items in breakfast choices.

Wow. This was such a nice place to stay. Very rustic. Huge breakfast with actual glass plates. And real cutlery. They have a great coffe/tea bar. Nice pool. Definitely worth the stay. .

Stay was really good! Since my last visit they have upgraded their breakfast from a soft breakfast to a buffet which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, the hot tub was out of order, a big reason for booking the place (apparently it has been for 2 months) and the pool was pretty cold as it was not heated. Other than that the stay was really good! Hats off to their amazing staff.

Although we were in an unrenovated room it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was fine but room temperature butter and fresh oatmeal daily would have been nice. The pool was warm! 89 degrees which I loved but the floors are extremely slippery if you have little ones. Overall, a good experience and we will return

The bathroom door handle was broken and the barn door itself couldn't be pulled closed. And the bathroom was a very tight fit for my 6'7" husband. Breakfast was the worst I have experienced at a Choice Hotel. I understand this hotel is only 13 days old as a Choice Hotel, but . . . The layout was terrible; no one could figure out where to place dirty dishes - the sign was covered up by a stack of dirty plates (a STACK at 6:10?) The food was room temperature. There were no napkins to be found - I went back to the kitchen to get those. Most people were throwing their food in the trash.

Room was really nice, like being in a wood cabin. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was great and food selection just abit cold on the hot items. The big disappointment was not having the hot tub.

When we checked in the room they gave us had 2 queen beds. I went back to the desk as I had booked a king size bed. The front desk clerk said he would see if he could upgrade us to the King. He did but I also wasn’t not going to be as this is what I booked and paid for. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast is over to early. 6am to 9am. I’m not an early riser. The place needs some maintenance. A bit run down. Yes it’s an old place as I did swim in that pool back when I was a kid and lived in The Fort. I would still recommend the place.

The room was doable for a one night stay on the way up fishing. The bar was closed due to construction which would have been nice to know in advance. Wouldn’t stay there again, would stay next door at the Super 8 that has Bostons Pizza next door. I would recommend eating and drinking at Bostons, very solid place

The stay was okay. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good although the food was one that fresh. Tables could be wiped better as well. It was not busy so that maybe explains the food. We’d stay again for sure
