Good Staff. Awesome pool. Nice views.

The Iberostar Jardin del Sol provided us with an expansive sparkling view of the sea, a gorgeous well maintained pool, and spa amenities for a worry free, relaxing and glorious week! There were plenty of activities- we did yoga, cocktail making lessons, pool aerobics, and a perfume alchemy workshop. Best fun was diving into the sea from the cliff- what a blast. The staff was warm and responsive, and they made us feel so at home! I can't even find words to describe the variety of flavorful dishes in every single buffet, the professionalism of the staff, and the beauty and peacefulness of the outdoor patio setting. The rooms are not glamorous, but the junior sweet is roomy and housekeeping made it feel fresh each day. I wholeheartedly recommend this Iberostar resort.

The staff are extremely friendly making you feel special right from check in to restaurant! Nothing too much trouble. The views are amazing from every room of Santa Ponsa bay. The food is freshly cooked and beautifully presented. also cooked to order with a theme each night such as seafood or Spanish. There is a dining terrace overlooking the bay and if you time it right you have a front row table every time! We had a central Junior Suite on 3rd floor overlooking pool and the bay. It was very spacious with two single beds together which made a huge King size bed. Only criticism is bathroom needs attention. It is only separated from the bedroom by a wooden arch. There is huge jacuzzi bath which I can’t believe anybody uses and just takes up space. Also with the amount of counter space under the long mirror I feel there should be two basins. However the shower and toilet are in a separate room. Although the room is very spacious it is little tired and modernisation would be welcome. The pool and poolside is kept extremely clean and sunbeds checked every day. Not too much bed reserving so you can have breakfast and still get somewhere to sit by the pool. There is no beach as the hotel is built into the cliff side but there is a small jetty to jump in the sea. Overall the hotel is in a quiet residential neighbourhood with a few bars and shops a short walking distance and Santa Ponsa town 15-20 minutes walk. It’s the staff and views that make this hotel special.

The property itself is quite nice, great view of the ocean and have direct access to the sea. the staffs are very friendly. Room is clean but a bit dated. The hotel was advertised as having three pools, however, if you don’t book the prestige room, you can only access one main pool for (poor people and can’t get access the other two. The free room upgrade when available doesn’t work either for Expedia platinum member because they are clearly available for additional charge. The hotel is in an area with full of English taverns and shops. Don’t expect any good local cuisine around. We wanted to do the Japan restaurant on the premise the last night but wasn’t informed that that restaurant is reserved only and the cut off time is 5pm. Wish we were told about that when check in so we know and planned it accordingly.

Overall enjoyable stay with my family. Most of the reviews you’ll read are pretty accurate but I’ll share some quick pros and cons i experienced.. Pros: -The absolute best part of the hotel is location. Quiet and situated right on the bay, you get direct private access to the water and exceptional views right from your room and dining areas. -Service everywhere at the hotel, from the restaurant to the ground floor bar was excellent. Everyone was kind, attentive, and did their best to make you feel welcomed. -I had the half board option so i only had breakfast and dinner. Dinners were buffet style and there was a large section that served a chefs special which changed every day. This was always tasty and the best part of the buffet. Cons: -Adding onto dinner, i think its ridiculous that drinks (obvious exclusion of alcohol) is not included in the half board option. Even water has to be paid for which is a joke because they refill the bottles with the same free water that is dispensed in the machines they have set up on every floor for guests. Just an obvious example of a money grab by the hotel. -Breakfast was absolutely underwhelming, i don’t see how people found anything delicious. The only decent options were the pastries and the omelette station, and even that was always made overcooked. -Rooms can use a bit of an update but not a big deal. -Only listing this for those who care about a gym in a hotel—Just an awful tiny space, broken equipment, few light weights, 1/10.

The staff was outstanding and went above and beyond for us on more than one occasion. The pool and building were very clean and well kept and the food at the restaurant was some of the best I had- outstanding selections and wait staff courteous, helpful, and knowledgable. Not to mention beautiful views and Walkable to town and beach. Would absolutely Stay here again.

The property was very clean and staff were excellent. Only booked the breakfast board which was excellent. Lots of choice of fresh fruit and iberia meats. If you are renting a car, parking can be a challenge as it is only available on the street.Otger than that its a beautiful hotel in Mallorca.

This property is located on a beautiful geographic location with great views from every space. The hotel at best is 2.5 star for an American tourist. The prestige plan truly is not worth the price. The breakfast inclusive package is convenient for a buffet service. The non Prestige area pool has the best pool size service , which at the prestige area is non existent. Front reception staff is very basic , no hotel shop, no concierge . Quick walk into tons and a large beach

Absolutely stunning!! Such a chilled out vibe. All of the staff were lovely, breakfast was superb. Pools amazing, recommend upgrading to Star Prestige as the pools are so much nicer plus you get free snacks twice a day

Very nice view, nice balcony on our penthouse roof - but sadly we had ant problem all of the apartment. They tried to clean it, but kept coming back. By day 3 we were offered another room, but with 3 days left we also didn’t wanna move everything. Also it was hard to

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon, so we had high expectations. The reception was friendly upon arrival, and the overall facilities were decent. The room was spacious, though slightly dated, and the terrace offered a nice view — though privacy was limited as neighboring rooms were clearly visible. Soundproofing was also not ideal. I also noticed several dark spots on one of the mirrors. What disappointed me the most was the service. After the first cleaning, we returned to find a used towel left in the bathtub — and this was not an isolated incident. There was always something slightly unfinished about the housekeeping. On the first day, some amenities were already nearly empty, including the hair conditioner, even though we hadn’t used them. I expected them to be refilled after housekeeping, but they weren’t. When I called the front desk, I was told that I would have to wait until the next morning. Even after asking again the following day, amenities remained unfilled until we checked out. At some point, I simply gave up on asking. The room key frequently malfunctioned, requiring several trips to the front desk, and the room only had two very small trash bins, which felt quite inconvenient. As it was our honeymoon, we had hoped for at least a touch of thoughtful service — not necessarily anything special, but at least the basics done right. Unfortunately, even those weren't properly taken care of. Considering the amount we paid, the service didn't meet our expectation.

Pretty property. We had a terrace room which was very nice. Food/ dining/bar-pool service was very average if I’m being honest. Rooms were very clean.. hair dryer was broken and phones offer no instruction on how to reach main desk. That needs attention. Shower/toilet room was very compact. Otherwise, a nice hotel in a beautiful setting.

Schöne Lage des Hotels, schöne Pools, insgesamt gepflegt. Zimmer sind gross aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Abflüsse im Bad riechen stark, Duschtür schloss nicht richtig. Das Personal war teilweise überfordert bzw. noch neu und nicht gut eingearbeitet. Der Zimmerservice war unterschiedlich, von normal bis schlecht. Gegen 21:30 wollte man noch Handtücher wechseln und betrat nach kurzem Klopfen sofort das Zimmer. Geschirr wurde nicht abgeräumt oder abgewaschen. Im Star Prestige Bereich war die Rezeption öfter nicht besetzt, beim Checkin lange Wartezeiten. Es lohnt nicht wirklich hierfür mehr Geld zu bezahlen, auch weil die Zimmer im hinteren, älteren Teil der Anlage liegen. Grundsätzlich kein schlechtes Hotel, wir waren aber insgesamt eher enttäuscht.

We booked a suite with a hot tub and terrace with sea view. The terrace was great but there were many ants coming through the patio door. We notified staff and they sent someone to clean it. But 2 days later we saw ants in the closet and they got on my clothes. I had to shake out my clothes. We notified guest services and she didn’t do anything other than have housekeeping come by and give us new towels. The hotel is very old and out dated. Other than that the view was beautiful. The restaurant buffet was ok we went once for breakfast and once for dinner. I would not pay for all inclusive here.

B. am Pool oder vor dem Abendessen, und das Essen selbst war ebenfalls ganz ausgezeichnet! Wir kommen gerne wieder hierher :-)

Vi boede i en penthouselejlighed med jacuzzi - der var virkelig rent og pænt i hele lejligheden, og på terrassen, men jacuzzi var temmelig beskidt, da vi ankom - og selvom den blev gjort ren af to omgange og var fin til sidst, gjorde det, at vi ikke havde lyst til at benytte jacuzzien.

Nous avons apprécié la situation de l'hôtel surplombant la mer et son accès direct à la baignade par des échelles, la piscine intérieure chauffée et les très bons buffets du petit-déjeuner et du dîner. Concernant la chambre, notre expérience est plus mitigée : - la vue mer et superbe et la chambre est très spacieuse - l'insonorisation est quasi-inexistante avec la chambre communicante d'à côté - la baignoire en plein milieu de la pièce est sans doute design pour certains, pour nous cela la rend malheureusement inutilisable du fait de la chaleur et de l'humidité produite dans la pièce au lieu de l'être dans une salle de bains fermée et aérée. Pour la douche, il manque une douchette pour pouvoir se rincer correctement sans se mouiller les cheveux chaque jour. Malgré ces détails, nous avons passé un très bon séjour

The hotel is beautiful although some parts of it are a little outdated. The ac is fabulous. The terrace with hot tub is beautiful. There is a some lack of privacy with the glass being the only separation between each terrace. The staff is great and everyone is helpful and kind. The location is spectacular and close to many areas. Street parking was free and convenient.

The property had amazing views and great food selection and service. we did the all inclusive which was great. The tv wouldn’t stream the entire time after multiple maintenance visits. no chrome cast of apps like netflix, Prime… already on the tv. The rooms are clean but very dated. The bed barely fits in the master bedroom. They never answered the phone when we call the front desk the entire stay. lastly when we checked in the had us sit down at the remote desk they pushed penthouse upgrade. If the views and meals and staff weren’t so good I’d choose another place closer to Palma and on the beach

Great service. Hard to get towels and washcloths.

Not a wonderful stay. Have never written a negative review but the hotel was packed and they were not ready (eg couldn’t get any seats at the pool, towels ran out, and we waited for over 90 minutes for food and drinks). Yikes. Hotel staff would not validate Gold member status either. Views were gorgeous though.

I enjoyed my stay it was very nice and a great vacation with friendly staff and great clean hotel! I just wasn’t honored my Expedia VIP amenity.

We booked this property based on glowing Expedia reviews, expecting a high-end experience. Unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas and is clearly in need of renovation. At check-in, the reception staff seemed more focused on upselling room upgrades than welcoming guests. Despite booking through Expedia with VIP benefits, these weren’t mentioned at all—I had to ask near the end of our stay about the complimentary sparkling wine, which was eventually provided. The rooms are not soundproof. You can hear footsteps echoing through the tiled corridors and even toilets flushing from the floors above. Breakfast was average. The omelettes were the highlight, but the wait time was longer than expected and the overall selection felt uninspired. This property may have once been premium, but it’s not living up to that reputation now. I’d recommend looking elsewhere until it’s had a proper refresh.

Excellent hotel, well-equipped room, very good all-inclusive, great Star Prestige pool! and wonderful service, we would really like to especially thank Suzana who made our stay more special, Atanas and Dima from the restaurant as well as Diego from the kitchen! From the bar we also need to thank mario, joel, ricardo and denise!

Wonderful hotel, staff, and good food. I would definitely return! The location of this hotel makes it a 5 star hotel in my opinion. I understand that some other reviews say the hotel is bit older, but the location Is amazing. And they’ve done a great job to keep the hotel in good condition. Super relaxing and being able to go right out of your room to the multiple pools is amazing.

Nearby Square had many bars and restaurants to visit. Local transit (TIB) stop was a quick 5 min walk away and transit was easy to use. The room upgrade was nice so you could use your room and enjoy private hot tub, shade and sun in comfort. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Amazing property in close walking distancec to shops/restaurants.

Everything was beautiful, don’t waste your money on all inclusive unless you’re gonna drink a lottt. Food was all buffet and nasty tbh. Save your money for the local food it’s cheap and amazing

Wow, what a paradise. I can see why this accommodation has so many positive reviews. I stayed her with my mother for four nights and everything was so idyllic. We loved the room, the pool, the cocktails, the warm and friendly staff, and the great food. I give the place a 10/10 and would love to come back one day.

Great views that you can’t get enough of. Food was good for AI, but it felt a bit repetitive by day four. Shame they don’t have other evening options. My only red flag is that a lot of the pools/beautiful areas shown in the photos are only for “Prestige” customers eg those paying more. The photos are misleading as they are labelled “pool area” vs “Prestige pool area”. Also we checked out at 11am but our flight was it until later. Even though we were AI we were told we would have to pay for our drinks, as our AI had ended. I’ve never experienced that before at an AI hotel.

This was our second visit to this hotel, last year we only had breakfast included but as the dining opportunities in the surrondings was limited we had dinner a few nights at the hotel. We where very impressed by the quality and the various themes on those nights which made us book dinner included this year. That was unfortunatly a mistake - this years dinning expirences was nothing like last years - quality was ok but not more. I have the expression that savings have been made which made our evenings less enjoyable in relation to last year. Given the poor other options we will find another place for next years holiday in Mallorca.

Quiet location outside centre, nice hotel views and average buffet. However, all-in means that most of the food/drinks/snacks are still to be paid for at half price!
