The staff were polite and even checked me in an hour early. There was confusion after the first night, they made a mistake and I was unable to access my room and had to go get the key cards updated. The gentleman at check in kept referring to a one-night stay when it was booked for two nights. The room was very dirty, with the bathroom, carpets and floors not cleaned. The bathroom was a wheelchair access bathroom (which I did not need or request when booking the stay). The ADA bench in the shower was not secured and falling off the wall. The grout was black with mildew or microbial growth and toilet needed to be cleaned before using. The room had suffered water damage at some point because the walls were poorly repaired in various spots and the cabinetry (desk, TV stand and Fridge enclosure) were water damaged and swollen with growth visible on and around the damage. The bed seemed to be clean, but I was unable to determine. The room had a musky damp smell to it as well. I know for a fact that I will not be staying at this location at any time moving forward with my trips to Sunrise Fl On the other hand, Hotels.com was amazing. The ease of using the website was great and the notifications up to check in were great as well. I will use Hotels.com again and refer to my friends and business associates.
