Hotel fairly clean. Breakfast was interesting. We did not complain so in all fairness we did not give them a chance to fix it. I’m sure they would have we were just pressed for time. It’s a safe spot off the highway. Just not the Baymont I’ve stayed in before, looks like an updated EconoLodge. I felt safe and the staff was kind.

Check in was easy and very pleasant. The ladies that work there are wonderful. The rest was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. I didn’t expect much for $100, but I certainly didn’t expect cockroaches crawling in the room and bathroom . Looks like the shower was remodeled partially) ceiling was patched but not painted. Dirty (or so old that they don’t clean up white anymore) towels, no shampoo or blow dryer. They did bring a blow dryer after the request from another room. But it was tricky to take a shower with just a small soap bar. This is a motel 8 level, and the worst I’ve been to so far.

The room was clean, I will give it that. The sheets, on the other hand, no so much. Stains on the sheet and pillow case and a cigarettes' burn hole on the duvet. Check-in took 20 minuets. The girl was a housekeeper, not front desk. She was very nice but didn't know what she was doing. Our neighbors were very loud the first night. people coming a going from their room, all night, keepings us awake. Second night, a car pulled up, took a picture of their door, then sped away. The people in the room peered out. We were scared to death! We considered leaving in the middle of the night.
