The beds were clean and super confortable. Sussy was kind and helpful, but the restroom in the recepction area must be available for gests instead of being an storage.

This place is probably 50-75 years old, and i paid extra for a "deluxe" foom. The maintenance nearly as out of date. Plumbing sucks. Might have been built as a lower budget imitation of a Holiday Inn in the 1960's. Then deteriorated to a Ramada, then to a Super 8 and now can't even keep up with a super 8. No breakfast. Of course, no elevator to the second floor. Strictly outdoor stairs. Room for two had one dirty towel (until we asked for new ones). TV takes two remotes and each does something different. Too confusing for 90% of the world. No motel in canton is very good and the one in Van is below par for a Marriott. Recommend the 30 minute drive to La Quinta, Tru by Hilton or Fairfield by Marriot next to Buc-ees in Terrell. The Holiday Inn Express in Terrell is not up to usual Holiday stands but it does beat everything in Canton and we go to Trade Days every month, barring temperature extremes.

It was good for a brief overnight. AC worked great. TV didnt work and beds weren't the most comfortable. Pool is filled in and not available as advertised.

The first room we checked into was dirty and the toilet tank lid was broken. When we asked for a different room the manager he complained we hadn’t told him sooner and asked if we had broken the lid. He moved us to a new room that was clean but he was very rude about it. A little later our power went out and he seemed very irritated that he had to go and check it out. He also tried to charge us for one of our dogs even though hotels.com said there was no charge for up to 2 dogs. It was only when we showed him the webpage that he agreed and said it was their new policy and only because we had the screenshot did he agree we didn’t have to pay it. We wouldn’t stay here again, apart from the initial dirty room the customer service was just horrible.

The room was newly updated. The shower was excellent and had very hot water and great water pressure. Bobby from the front desk was very helpful when we had difficulty understanding how the television worked.

Motel was clean but definitely needs an upgrade. The bathrooms so small the door had a knotch cut so you could close the door past the toilet. The bath nozzle was broken and I almost didnt figure it out. Our key cards deactivated twice.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The clerks were not friendly at all. Bathroom was gross. We had to ask for a bath towel and they only provided tiny hand towels. It is very convenient but not worth it.

Myself, my husband, our kids and our two dogs stayed at this motel for 5 nights. The only good things I have to say about this motel is that the beds/bedding were comfortable and the AC was good. Besides that, our stay there wasn’t good at all. For starters, the morning following our first night there, the cleaning lady opened our door without warning, not once, but twice within 2 hours. The do not disturb sign was on the door but had fallen on the ground in front of the door. Regardless, it is never ok to enter an occupied motel room without verbal consent. First around 8 AM and the second around 10 AM. Secondly, the room smelled like marijuana when we got there and it took two days to stop smelling it. We were in a room with a shared door and the people next to us were a couple and they were constantly screaming and fighting.. inside and outside and management did nothing about it. The male was outside at all hours of the day and night screaming and yelling nonsense. The water pressure is ok but hot water side is cold and cold water side is hot. The wall next to the shower was moldy and caving in from water damage. Also, the side we were on is right next to a horrible maintained city rode that leads to a residential neighborhood and the pot holes were horrible so every truck and trailer that drove down that rode it was extremely loud. Due to traveling for my husband’s job, we have stayed in many different motels and this one was by far the worst.

Myself, my husband, our kids and our two dogs stayed at this motel for 5 nights. The only good things I have to say about this motel is that the beds/bedding were comfortable and the AC was good. Besides that, our stay there wasn’t good at all. For starters, the morning following our first night there, the cleaning lady opened our door without warning, not once, but twice within 2 hours. The do not disturb sign was on the door but had fallen on the ground in front of the door. Regardless, it is never ok to enter an occupied motel room without verbal consent. First around 8 AM and the second around 10 AM. Secondly, the room smelled like marijuana when we got there and it took two days to stop smelling it. We were in a room with a shared door and the people next to us were a couple and they were constantly screaming and fighting.. inside and outside and management did nothing about it. There wasn’t a coffee maker, iron, Kleenex, toiletries were lacking, no breakfast, ice machine was crap, a/c worked good, very run down!! Should have stayed at Motel 6. Would have been a step up!
