Lions Royal Hotel

Das Hotel ist offensichtlich neu renoviert und sehr sauber. Die Betten sind sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und lecker, die Aussicht wunderbar. Besonders auffallend ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Uns bleiben besonders Aisha und Sakir in Erinnerung, die immer hilfsbereit waren. Die Zimmer sind klein, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, und haben keine tolle Aussicht - wen das stört, der sucht besser woanders. Wer ein modernes, sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal mitten in Sultanahmet sucht, wird sicher nicht enttäuscht! Wir kommen wieder!

.Excellent séjour (5 étoiles !), mais je me permets de vous remonter un petit détail : dans la chambre 607, une odeur de cigarette se faisait sentir de temps en temps, sans qu'on réussisse à en identifier l'origine.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was kind, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. The location was also perfect, making it easy to visit the city’s attractions. A special thank you to all the staff for their excellent service and hospitality. They truly made our trip to Turkey even more memorable. We felt safe, relaxed, and well taken care of throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Turkey, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our vacation so wonderful!

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. But it did not start well. The Economy room we booked had a continuous air-co noise, even when switched off, making it impossible to sleep. When we reported this, Mehmet asked us to be patient for one night because no technician was available.After arriving tired, we did not expect to spend time insisting on a solution.Eventually, we were moved to another room. The room descriptions on the booking and hotel websites should also be improved. The differences between the Economy and Comfort/Double rooms are unclear. Our first room overlooked a wall with almost no daylight, while the descriptions mention a garden view, city view, and patio, which is confusing. After discussion, we upgraded to Room 703 with a street view by paying a negotiated price difference, which improved our stay. From then on, everything was excellent. The room was cleaned daily, Wi-Fi and airco worked perfectly, and complimentary bottled water was replenished daily. Breakfast was good, with fresh omelettes and pancakes. A toaster (cold bread) and a little more variety would make it even better. The biggest strength of this hotel is its staff. Special thanks to (as far i remember) Sardar, Abdulbaki, Sakir, and Aicha for their outstanding service. Aicha, in particular, checked in with us every day to make sure everything was going well and to ask whether we needed any assistance. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests made a lasting impression.

Nice friendly staff. The cleanliness of the hotel shows they care about their guests. Got lucky enough to have a view of a nearby mosque. Beautiful view at night when it was lit up!!
