Seaside Chalet 2 bedrooms at Bovisands Nr Plymouth

Not suitable for two friends or two family members. Sleeping arrangements for second bedroom unattractive. No WiFi and awkward loading and unloading of luggage. Should have read details more carefully - the location was fantastic and went a long way to compensate for any shortcomings. The place smelt of damp which didn’t go away after airing. The bed, sofa and chair had no support, didn’t do my back any good. Oh and the wall heaters were useless. Not a total disaster but not one to do again.

We stayed in the same chalet last year and were very happy with it. We liked the large outdoor area and the location on the site. It has all the features you would want.

Ein süßes kleines Häuschen mit herrlichem Ausblick von der Terrasse! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung ist auch traumhaft!

Returning this year after 5 years and the view didn't let us down again. Chalet as expected and we really enjoyed our time once more. Thanks to Sarah always available even via mail too. Just fyi parking is 3£ during winter season and 6£ in the summer. Still no WiFi installed, just to avoid any disappointments of new booking customers.

We had a wonderful stay at Bovis Sands. Ideal location for relaxing. Locals are very welcoming and friendly. On site cafe is superb. We enjoyed a bbq and watching the sun set from the patio. Highly recommend The Eddystone pub. Gin distillery tour in Plymouth. If out for the evening, don't forget main gate keys! As this is a gated complex. Separate all recycling, food waste and rubbish. Next to the bins is a recycling room. We used the outside tap to shower off sandy legs, i did think it would be a good idea to have an outside shower point for this as not anything by beach and is stated to remove as much sand before entering. The second bedroom is accessed from the bathroom, we managed but something to consider depending on who you are travelling with. We wouldnt hesitate booking again.
