Bathroom ceiling light was falling off. Moldy everything that's been painted over. Needed maintenance to come fix the toilet basin balloon twice bc it wouldn't fill the task back up. Lots of work needs to be done in this property. Lots. Loooottssss. Location was fantastic though! .. That's about all you can hope for

The property was still recovering from the storms. The pool wasn’t heated and the elevator wasn’t working. I will stay again in the summer months in hopes that things will be back to normal.

Had an issue with my fridge on day one of 5 days they replaced it still wasnt as cold as it should have been. The pool gate kept getting jammed. The bottom and the side of the pool were sharp got alot of cuts. Overall it was average 2nd time at the property wasnt bad but some issues this time compared to the last.

The Clearwater Beach Hotel was very disappointing. First, the property looked nothing like the picture depicted on the Expedia Website, it reminded me of the hotel used in the "Scarface" movie. Second, there was electrical issues because there were multiple extension cords used to provide power which is a safety concern and made no difference because charging the phone was difficult. Fourth, the staff failed to disclose that the pool was under maintenance and if you wanted to use the pool, you could use their other pool located across the street in their other location. Overall, the Clearwater Beach Hotel was cheap to stay at, but as the saying goes "You get what you pay for." Going forward, when I visit again, I will recall this experience to make different choices.

The main pool was not available/no water! You ya e to go across the busy road to access another pool owned be the hotel which was nasty! Never cleaned around the area, afraid to take off your shoes and it was closed one day due to maintenance ( due to too much pee in the water) according to an employee! Very disappointed

The room was very clean. Showers were wonderfully hot. Pool was nice. Customer service was nice. The doors are very thin so you can hear your neighbors very clearly. Id stay here again. The beach was a 2 min walk very convenient.

This property was not as pictured. The room was disgusting. Room needed painting, outlets were loose and wouldn’t hold phone chargers, no blow dryer, dirty doors, bathroom mirror was dirty and looked as if it still had toothpaste spit on it from previous occupant, busy road in front and heard loud cars and motorcycles all night, lampshades old and tattered. We grossed out the entire time and tried to find a rom elsewhere but could not. This was a throwback 60’s hotel with doors to the outside. I would never stay here again other rwcommend.

The hotel is a bit dated. The young lady at the counter was very friendly. The room needs some painting, and new bedframe & mattress. The biggest complaint was no smart tv. The bathroom was clean. The ac definitely worked. It is in walking distance of the beach and other stores. The price is cheaper than some of the other hotels. You get what you pay for...

The hotel needs work, doors leak, outlets in the room don’t work. Shower leaks everywhere and water pressure was almost zero. For a place just to get some sleep after partying then it’s ok. With a family don’t go.

Arrived at 10:30 and allows us to sit by pool and park. Said room should be ready by 12-1:00pm. Checked at 2:00 room wasn’t ready told them about a wedding I had to attend at 5:00. At 3:25 went into lobby and sat there waiting 2 different people came in and they got their rooms. At 3:58 my room not available. Said cancel me I have to find somewhere else to get ready. 4:02 got call my room was ready. I know check in is at 4 but them why tell us around 1 would be ready we could had made reservations elsewhere for the wedding. I felt like it was intentional and they said room wasn’t ready when we were sitting by the pool all day and watch maids clean the room we were in at like 1:30.

Tim was the guy on the desk he was fantastic. I booked for the wrong night on Hotels.com and he was friendly, calm and reassuring. He gave me the number to ring and we got it sorted. Motel is an older one but very clean, staff are great especially Tim and perfect location. Close to the beach, restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again and recommend to all.

If you're looking for fancy, this isn't your place but it was clean. Our problem was that or A/C wasn't working. We let the front desk know when we got up and they said they'd have someone fix it and let us know. We never got the call and no one fixed the A/C. When we got back to our room, I called down to the front office, they said they'd call a repair guy (again) and send him but played dumb when I asked if anyone had already been there to fix the A/C. Keep in mind, we were in for the night by this time. We asked front desk if we could get another room instead of having a repair guy in our room when we wanted to sleep. He was rude and acted like what I was asking for was out of line. When we went down to get our new room keys, he didn't say a word to us, other than, your room is 202 across the street. On a smaller note, they also told us they'd let us know if our room was ready early but they never called. Horrible communication and follow through

The only thing everytime i stay here this might be my 4 or 5th time staying their coffee maker is always not functioning. Somehow no coffee brews but the water has disappeared.

This property is not a 5 Star hotel as far as most would consider it. But it’s 5 Star to me because it delivers on everything promised.Staff definitely 5 Star, Room small but clean and comfortable.washer and dryer also available. Coffee in lobby. Also free parking. No complaints from me!

Nice view of the bay. Comfortable bed. Good location for food, drinks, and beaches. No frills. No breakfast. No sugar for my coffee, but i would stay again.

Property did not have a bar/restaurant. Overall pretty dirty and you could hear every little sound outside. The door to the room did not seal all the way and you could see outside.

The rooms were not as described so I was a little disappointed with that but the stay overall was nice and the staff was nice. Great pool. Walking distance to the pier which is nice.

The location is fantastic. Unfortunately the attendance was rude. I ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor and she said that because I have the room trough here, I couldn't have one. Then I complained about the stinky sheets (like vomit) and she said there wasn't no one to give me clean ones. That she will give me the key of a room so I could go and undress a bed to use those. I told her no. 20 minutes later one of the personal came with some. Very disappointed!
