The room was clean. Food was Excellent. The pool was small, full of kids and little to no music; boring. The beach was windy and rough. Nightly entertainment program started around 9:00 pm for a couple of hours. No tooth brush or sponge provided in this “luxury Resort “. No upgrades or mention thereof being VIP. Some of the alcoholic drinks are extra. One of the bar tenders at the main restaurant is indeed rude. To me, it stops short of being luxury or perhaps to the other clients, it can be that!

Perfect in every way. Food and drinks were excellent, staff polite and hospitable, while working busy shifts. Beach was great and the highlight of the trip. Facilities were very well kept and entire resort was kept clean and tidy. Overall excellent stay and well recommended. Highlight of the trip!

Le complexe de l’hôtel est très jolie. Il semble un peu petit et les structures sont assez les unes sur les autres. Les piscines sont notamment assez petites. La piscine principale est bien mais les autres sont très très petites. Le buffet du matin au soir était très bon et varié. Le personnel était très sympathique et professionnelle. Les chambres étaient belles, la salle de bain spacieuse. En revanche, la terrasse n’était pas tous les jours nettoyée. Concernant les animations, l’équipe était sympathique mais pas assez avenante et dynamique. Il manque également des animations plus dynamiques le soir. Le spa quand à lui était payant. Décevant pour un all in clusive premium où il devrait y avoir le Hammam et sauna inclus. De plus, les prestations proposées (soins, massages) étaient excessivement chers.

We usually don't do all-inclusive holidays, so this was our first experience in a long time, and we were thoroughly impressed. The resort exceeded our expectations, providing a clean and spacious beach with plenty of free loungers and a great selection of water sports. The four pools were well-maintained, with friendly staff at the pool bar enhancing our enjoyment. We stayed in a bungalow that was well decorated and very comfortable. Dining options were excellent, with an Italian restaurant open for dinner by reservation and the Taverna available for both lunch and dinner. The Taverna's Sunday barbecue featuring delicious grilled meats was a highlight. The main restaurant offered a fantastic variety of Cretan and international cuisine. The spa services, including a facial and massage, were wonderful, and Erica was especially helpful in providing treatment information. The general manager was frequently visible, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service and improvement. Right outside the resort, we found numerous shops and restaurants, creating a friendly atmosphere. We also enjoyed a well-organized trip to Heraklion and the Palace of Knossos, complete with earpieces to hear our knowledgeable guide. Overall, Agapi Beach Resort feels like a little village, perfect for families and those seeking a relaxing getaway. We left with great memories and a desire to return.

Excellent facilities. Very clean and staff extremely friendly and professional. Public bus in front of the hotel to go to Heraklion in the afternoon. The food was fantastic with a very wide choice.

Agapi Resort was wonderful for an all-inclusive hotel. Check-in was immediate, the front desk staff welcoming and friendly. The resort was very clean and there was hotel staff always out and about cleaning indoors as well as outdoors. The restaurants onsite had a variety of food options each day. The food served was tasty and never left hungry. The private beach was spacious with lots of loungers available for resort guests. The beach bar was a short walk. The resort pools were nice. We only visited the smaller, more quite pool as that is what we prefer. I would recommend the resort should enforce and make the smaller pool for 15 & up. The resort has two other pools families can use & specifically has a pool for kids. The resort is a short 15/20 minute drive from the airport. We arranged a taxi to pick us up upon our arrival for €30 a service offered by the resort. There are plenty of shops, grocery stores and restaurants right outside the resort property within walking distance. Overall, we would stay at Agapi resort again in the future due the the service we received.

Wonderful place, on an amazing beach three miles at least so you can escape the crowds. Food is exceptional particularly in the two a La carte restaurants. Lots of green space to escape as it is very busy.

Ofrecen muchas actividades diarias, como volley o deportes de agua, así como espectáculos variados por la noche (tanto para niños como adultos) tiene acceso a la playa con tumbonas gratuitas para los huéspedes del hotel, ideal para relajarte si no quieres desplazarte a alguna playa cercana (como hay que hacer en otros hoteles), además tiene tres piscinas distintas también con tumbonas cómodas (siempre tienen toallas „reservando“ la tumbona por parte de otros huéspedes, pero como no está permitido y no veía a nadie en la tumbona de hacía algunos minutos la quitaba y me podía tumbar tranquilamente). En la piscina principal se puede encontrar el bar para el todo incluido (los cócteles hechos sin máquina, de la botella directamente) que tiene mucha variedad de bebidas y algunos aperitivos. Además el hotel tiene muchos restaurantes con mucha variedad de comida y toda buenísima, sinceramente su restaurante italiano (en el que se puede reservar gratuitamente en la recepción del restaurante principal) tiene el mejor risotto de setas que haya comido nunca! El personal es super amable y el servicio en el buffet es rápido, eficiente y simpático. Por último, el colchón de la habitación era muy grande y cómodo y no se escuchaba nada, se podía dormir genial. Sinceramente de los mejores hoteles en los que me he alojado :)

Wir waren im Hauptgebäude untergebracht mit Meerblick. Das Zimmer war neu renoviert und hat uns sehr gut gefallen (es war nur leider etwas hellhörig). Das Hotel bietet wirklich alles was man braucht. Mehrere Restaurants, 3 Pools, SPA Bereich, eigenen Strandabschnitt… Hervorheben möchte ich das außerordentlich freundliche Personal - egal ob an der Rezeption, Bar, in den Restaurants…

Wir waren im Hauptgebäude untergebracht mit Meerblick. Das Zimmer war neu renoviert und hat uns sehr gut gefallen (es war nur leider etwas hellhörig). Das Hotel bietet wirklich alles was man braucht. Alles aan Agapi Beach is fantastisch. De kamers in het hoofdgebouw zijn mooi gerenoveerd. Alle faciliteiten zijn superschoon, personeel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Eten en drinken van zeer goede kwaliteit. Wij gaan zeker weer terug!

Eine sehr gepflegte saubere Anlage. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Am Essen ist nichts auszusetzen, sehr gute Qualität, abwechslungsreich mit einer sehr großen Auswahl. Der Bungalow war immer sauber, die Einrichtung sehr in Ordnung. Während des Aufenthalts gab es von unserer Seite nichts zu beanstanden. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Alles in allem eine schöne Anlage. Weitläufig und durch verschiedene Pools hatten wir nicht das Gefühl, dass es überlaufen ist. Das Familienzimmer war in Ordnung. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass am Strand mehr Sauberkeit herrscht. Leider hatten wir im Restaurant oft schmutziges Geschirr, was etwas unangenehm war. Für Erwachsene ist die Essensauswahl gegeben. Für Kinder gibt es nur 1 Gericht und Suppe. Das Personal war freundlich.

Great place! The crew is amazing, food and drinks above and beyond. The only issue we had was some mold in the room, once we complained it was cleaned and a wine bottle was sent to the room.

Beautiful resort. The staff we're unfailingly friendly and attentive. The accommodation was clean, really comfortable and we were lucky enought to enjoy a beach view from our balcony. The quality of the food however was the real highpoint. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals were consistently outstanding with an enormous amount of choice. I loved the Cretan table in particular which was always loaded with the most amazing traditional Greek produce. I'd highly recommend Agapi Beach Resort, it really was impossible to find fault with anything.

Beautiful resort. The staff we're unfailingly friendly and attentive. The accommodation was clean, really comfortable and we were lucky enought to enjoy a beach view from our balcony. The quality of the food however was the real highpoint. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals were consistently outstanding with an enormous amount of choice. I loved the Cretan table in particular which was always loaded with the most amazing traditional Greek produce. I'd highly recommend Agapi Beach Resort, it really was impossible to find fault with anything.

Customer service was amazing, food was great. The beds were very uncomfortable and room smelled bad. No free upgrade offered. I also suggest that the gotel offers more entertainment activities in the night such as DJ or shows. Very boring after 9 pm.

Zimmer heruntergekommen, Klo konnte man nur benutzen, wenn man seitlich drauf sitzt, da Abstand zu Mauer zu gering ist. Ebenso sind die Matratzen sehr hart und alt.

Communicatie voordien en bij het inchecken was verliep zeer vlot. Wij kregen een update van de kamer en verbleven in het hoofdgebouw in een gerenoveerde kamer Deze werd iedere dag perfect gepoetst. Zeer goede bedden en geen last van lawaai of andere zaken. Indien je verblijft in de villa’s rond het hoofdgebouw is dit een andere zaak Wij vonden deze verouderd en niet uitnodigend. De mensen waren er overal zeer vriendelijk. Het eten vonden wij het minste van kwaliteit van alle hotels waar we al hadden verbleven. Genoeg keuze maar de kwaliteit ontbrak. Het griekse a la carte was lekker maar er werd te snel afgeruimd en de volgende gang kwam te snel. Cocktails waren matig, er zijn all in coctails en dan betalende cocktails. Wateractiviteit hebben wij niet kunnen uitvoeren door teveel wind.

The food was fantastic and definitely the best part of the trip. The rooms are kind of small, the air conditioning doesn't work very well and the beds are very hard, so that took some getting used to. The pool can be difficult to get in and out of as the ladders are quite slippery.

It was my second time at Agapi Beach and the whole Resort is very nice - nice Pools, the beach, the spa. Unfortunately, this was the second time I was given one of the rooms that had not been renovated. The balcony was very small and cramped, so you could hardly sit on it. The complex as a whole is really nice but these rooms unfortunately spoiled the impression a bit.

My premium double bedroom was a little smaller than I'm used to but was a fair size for one person. It was modern and had a decent sized balcony with sea view. The all inclusive food was fairly good though was disappointed with fish options. I don't eat meat so was hoping for fresh fish, but the fish they had in main restaurant was tasteless and obviously prefrozen. However, there were plenty salad and vegetable options to choose. Overall food choice was ok but not as good as a couple of other all inclusive 4 star resorts I've stayed in. The private beach was beautiful with plenty of spare sun beds and also enjoyed the roundly , hospitable service of the staff

Wir waren im Hauptgebäude untergebracht mit Meerblick. Das Zimmer war neu renoviert und hat uns sehr gut gefallen (es war nur leider etwas hellhörig). Das Hotel bietet wirklich alles was man braucht. Mehrere Restaurants, 3 Pools, SPA Bereich, eigenen Strandabschnitt… Hervorheben möchte ich das außerordentlich freundliche Personal - egal ob an der Rezeption, Bar, in den Restaurants…

The actual amenities of this hotel were great. The problem with the hotel was the room. The beds were hard, there was a smoke smell, and overall just older then what the pictures showed. The AC also barely worked in the room. We only stayed a day or two so we just lived with it. Otherwise the rest of the property was amazing.

Fabulous stay at the Agapi Beach resort. Food, facilities, cleanliness and comfort were all excellent but what makes this place special is the staff. Everyone friendly, helpful and clearly happy to help. We would love to come back in the future.

The property is very well maintained and the staff are excellent. The food and beverage manager in particular is one of the hardest working hotel staff members we have ever seen! There is a great variety of food at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with items labeled for allergens, which is very much appreciated for guests with food allergies. The Taverna by the beach is a casual, relaxing place to have lunch. The beach is large and there are enough loungers to accommodate guests. Overall, we would highly recommend this resort, especially for families with younger or older children.

Day 1) Reported issue with AC. Later made aware of issue affecting AC as well as no WI-FI/TV in recently renovated rooms. WI-FI/TV later resolved, AC never full operational, advised to open balcony. Buffet-Only. Told that restaurants were not included in AC and special entertainment such as Olive Oil, Cooking Classes, etc completely booked prior to arrival. Never informed of need to book in advance. Reported to both Hotel and Expedia that we were unhappy with accommodations requesting to be removed. Day 2) Upon checking status of request, hotel was not responsive. Hotel left apology note and bottle of wine. Again, informed of our desire to move. Day 3) Status check, hotel still not reachable. Spoke with Guest Relations, Offered complimentary massage. Made them aware again of our request to move and need to respond to Expedia Day 4) Informed we’d get a response in 72HRS (after departure) then later told that request had been denied, hotel refused to release us. Very Disappointed in Stay and method for handling issues such as these

Come for the beach and the food/drinks but don't expect a party atmosphere. It's a quiet property with 3 pools however everyone is either at the beach or at the primary pool. When we were there practically no one else was going in the pool which is fine if you prefer a quiet atmosphere. Lovely staff, lovelier kitties around the property which was excellently located. We were able to take the city bus from the port for $2.50 and it stops right in front of the hotel. Hop on Hop Off stops right in front of the hotel. Rooms were OK and safe. Buffet was always amazing with plenty to choose from. Not sure if it was just the time of year but would recommend this place to older couples and not party goers. Would visit again!

We usually don't do all-inclusive holidays, so this was our first experience in a long time, and we were thoroughly impressed. The resort exceeded our expectations, providing a clean and spacious beach with plenty of free loungers and a great selection of water sports. The four pools were well-maintained, with friendly staff at the pool bar enhancing our enjoyment. We stayed in a bungalow that was well decorated and very comfortable. Dining options were excellent, with an Italian restaurant open for dinner by reservation and the Taverna available for both lunch and dinner. The Taverna's Sunday barbecue featuring delicious grilled meats was a highlight. The main restaurant offered a fantastic variety of Cretan and international cuisine. The spa services, including a facial and massage, were wonderful, and Erica was especially helpful in providing treatment information. The general manager was frequently visible, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service and improvement. Right outside the resort, we found numerous shops and restaurants, creating a friendly atmosphere. We also enjoyed a well-organized trip to Heraklion and the Palace of Knossos, complete with earpieces to hear our knowledgeable guide. Overall, Agapi Beach Resort feels like a little village, perfect for families and those seeking a relaxing getaway. We left with great memories and a desire to return.

Agapi Resort was wonderful for an all-inclusive hotel. Check-in was immediate, the front desk staff welcoming and friendly. The resort was very clean and there was hotel staff always out and about cleaning indoors as well as outdoors. The restaurants onsite had a variety of food options each day. The food served was tasty and never left hungry. The private beach was spacious with lots of loungers available for resort guests. The beach bar was a short walk. The resort pools were nice. We only visited the smaller, more quite pool as that is what we prefer. I would recommend the resort should enforce and make the smaller pool for 15 & up. The resort has two other pools families can use & specifically has a pool for kids. The resort is a short 15/20 minute drive from the airport. We arranged a taxi to pick us up upon our arrival for €30 a service offered by the resort. There are plenty of shops, grocery stores and restaurants right outside the resort property within walking distance. Overall, we would stay at Agapi resort again in the future due the the service we received.

Agapi Beach is een rustig, schoon resort. Eetgelegenheden erg goed, veel variatie. Personeel altijd erg vriendelijk. Prachtig strand met voldoende bedjes. In de omgeving niet veel te beleven, maar een goede uitvalsbasis om Kreta te bekijken.

We needed a hotel close to airport for a very early flight. It worked out perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was great. Grabbed some free chase lounges on the beach. Typical beach with chases covered in towels but no one on them. It’s so annoying. The food was good. All inclusive. The highlight was a couple singing and they were exceptional. For context not a all inclusive traveler.

Resort molto bello, con giardini molto ben curati. Buoni i ristoranti. In particolare, nel ristorante principale il menu cambia tutte le sere ed è sempre molto vario. Spiaggia ben attrezzata con buono spazio tra i vari ombrelloni. Nonostante fossimo ad agosto abbiamo sempre trovato posto in spiaggia, senza problemi. Mare bello anche se per qualche giorno il vento è stato un po' fastidioso. Comoda la fermata, proprio davanti al resort, dell'autobus Sightseeing con cui visitare Heraklion che si trova a 15/20 minuti dall'hotel. Migliorabile la pulizia della stanza.

Nightly entertainment program started around 9:00 pm for a couple of hours. No tooth brush or sponge provided in this “luxury Resort “. No upgrades or mention thereof being VIP. Some of the alcoholic drinks are extra. One of the bar tenders at the main restaurant is indeed rude. To me, it stops short of being luxury or perhaps to the other clients, it can be that!

Perfect in every way. Food and drinks were excellent, staff polite and hospitable, while working busy shifts. Beach was great and the highlight of the trip. Facilities were very well kept and entire resort was kept clean and tidy. Overall excellent stay and well recommended. Highlight of the trip!

There were 9 of us in our party with ages ranging from 23 to 65- everyone loved! Nice beach and fantastic food. Staff were friendly and most helpful. Rooms were remodeled and clean. Spa staff excellent as well as the animation team. Taka taka- Greek street food restaurant was unbelievably good! One of the best all inclusive resorts. Minor enhancements I’d recommend include mimosas at breakfast and coffee in dining room for lunch and dinner.

There were lots of dining options within the resort that provided variety throughout our stay. The buffet at the main restaurant was the best I’ve ever had. We loved that we had healthy, great tasting options for every meal. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

It was our first time trying an all-inclusive holiday, and we definitely enjoyed our stay at this resort. Overall, it was a great experience. There were just two things we personally didn’t love: the buffet restaurant, which felt a bit too hectic for our taste as we generally prefer calmer dining environments, and our room in the annex. While the resort offers smaller à la carte restaurants—which we ended up really enjoying—the buffet just wasn’t our style. As for the room, we stayed in the annex, and unfortunately, those rooms felt quite dated and worn. I’m sure the already modernised rooms are lovely, but the annex could definitely use an update. That said, since we didn’t spend much time in the room, it wasn’t a big issue for us. The staff were all incredibly friendly, the pools and the entire resort are well maintained, and the beach is beautiful. All in all, a very positive stay!

If you are looking for an all-inclusive resort with a lovely beach and multiple pools, this is a great place. The rooms were lovely, the staff was nice (especially housekeeping) and the place was in great shape. My only complaint is that we were unable to get a reservation at any of the Ala carte restaurants on the property (it seems you would need to make reservations days in advance of your arrival).

My premium double bedroom was a little smaller than I'm used to but was a fair size for one person. It was modern and had a decent sized balcony with sea view. The all inclusive food was fairly good though was disappointed with fish options. I don't eat meat so was hoping for fresh fish, but the fish they had in main restaurant was tasteless and obviously prefrozen. However, there were plenty salad and vegetable options to choose. Overall food choice was ok but not as good as a couple of other all inclusive 4 star resorts I've stayed in. The private beach was beautiful with plenty of spare sun beds and also enjoyed the roundly , hospitable service of the staff

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Sehr grosse Auswahl. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat, dass man beim Abendessen nicht gleich einen Platz bekam. Man musste vor dem Restaurant zum Teil lange anstehen. Ansonsten war alles okay. Wir hatten ein Bungalow Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick. Leider konnte man die Badezimmertür nicht richtig öffnen. Die Tür stoss auf das Klo. Wenn jemand ein bisschen mehr auf den Rippen hat wird es sehr eng um in das Badezimmer zu gelangen.

Incredibly clean, all staff were exceptional. A few different pools which were all quiet and very easy to get a sunbed. Beach and sunbeds also really clean, beach bar is great for snacks and drinks. The food is the real stand out, exceeded expectations massively. Every meal was amazing. House wine/beer is pretty average, beer especially bad in the small plastic day cups. But there is a shop on site and more shops opposite which sell various Greek beers for €1 each, Nissos was really good. Great hotel, would definitely recommend.

Most staff excellent and very friendly. The hotel was very well maintained and renovated to a very good standard. Excellent private beach with loungers, towels and umbrellas included. Very nice pools and lobby area and outdoor gardens were exceptionally maintained. We were there in August and there were a few days that the wind and waves was a bit much, but apparently this is normal for August and other months are better. We still loved being at the beach. There were alot of food choices, most was OK to good and some was great, but you learn after a couple days what to order and what to choose. Dolce Vida had a great caprese salad and an excellent salmon, but the beef was tough and and overdone. You have to keep in mind that even at the sit-down restaurants, the food is generally pre-prepared as they cant make it fresh for large volumes of people. This affects the quality, but we were generally happy as there was enough choices and if we were still hungry or didnt like our meal, we went to the buffet to fill up on what we liked. Overall a great hotel with a nice beach. For an all inclusive with the location and renovated rooms, it was a fair price as there are very limited options in all of Greece at this price point that offer a large nice hotel on a beach. Very kid friendly even though we did not travel with kids.

We had a very good nine-night stay overall. The hotel is beautiful, right on the beach, with great beach facilities, excellent pools and restaurants, very good food, and helpful staff. Our daughter loved the mini disco and Despina was amazing entertaining the kids! The main reason for my four-star rating is the room, which felt dated, poorly maintained, and had a few technical issues that didn’t match the quality of the rest of the property. We also arranged an airport transfer for a specific time, but the car was late, so we had to take a street taxi to make our flight. One small issue was the limited number of pool loungers, often reserved early with towels, although this is more a matter of guest behaviour than the hotel itself. Overall, a very enjoyable stay — the hotel and facilities were great, but the room really let the experience down.
