Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa

Stayed here May 2019 for our honeymoon it was perfection. We looked at other properties nearby for our anniversary trip May 2026, and decided to return. The Hyatt Regency made it absolutely spectacular to be back! Checkin, valet, bellman, the spa, the restaurants were all top notch. Can’t wait to come back for Christmas sometime soon.

Overall the stay was great. We had an issue with our first room not being very clean but they took care of it promptly and moved us to another room. Pro tip: The Nāpili tower seemed to be slightly better than the main tower. The breakfast buffet was included in our res and was so so. If you order off the ala carte menu get the pancakes! The best. Pretty good gym overall but got super crowded on a couple of the days we were there. Possibly due to the marathon that was going on. All of the wildlife they have was a pleasant bonus. They have penguins and several different birds throughout. We don’t have kids but this would be a huge hit if you do. Valet parking is $55 vs $50 to self park. A little egregious but what can ya do. The spa isn’t directly associated with the hotel but it’s on property. We had a nice couples massage. The men’s spa was closed for renovations though so I wasn’t able to use the steam room , sauna or jacuzzi. For this they knocked 10% off the bill. I would stay here again … it’s not the four seasons but it has a lot to offer and was a reasonable price when we stayed in late April.

Room had a lot of gnats and flies in the bed, sink, and shower upon arrival. When notifying staff they mentioned its cause was from a recent storm. We stayed in a neighboring property the same week without this issue. Pool was great for kids!

Prepaid breakfast was perfect - with daily Buffett. The pools were perfect diverse and plenty with slides for kids and infinity pool for adults. Cute little shops and many animals and penguins were great. Staff was helpful and made accommodations when needed. The grounds were great with good location for snorkeling off the beach. Daily visit from sea turtle and close walking distance to many diverse restaurants

Breakfast was so good and complimentary. The pool was great and all the shops and stand La had friendly people. We especially loved the shaved ice vendor. It was so good and the people were so sweet!
