The chair to the desk in our room was broken. Hurt my husband's back when he sat in it and found out. Luggage cart is broken. Key cards for rooms didn't work half The time cable box kept resetting itself. So we couldn't watch anything. Hardly wasnt any breakfast, just cereal and milk and toast. Employee at front desk did not know how to do his job. Only one employee was on duty and I would like my money back. Very unsatisfied with my stay

Needed handicapped accessible room, but only one available only had one bed. I was travelling with my son, and neither one of us is comfortable sharing a bed. Also, the door and pathways were too tight to get in with the wheelchair. Only real issue we had.

Barebones hotel. Clean place to sleep. Quiet. Breakfast was pretty bad, no healthy choices. The room was okay. There were outlet covers missing, the toilet ran all night, there were incomplete repairs in the bathroom.

We stayed for two nights in a single room with a king bed. The room was decent sized. I noticed right away how dirty the bathroom was; hair all over the shower, mirror and floor, the caulking around the stool was coming off and sticking out, the area between the mirror and sink was really nasty with toothpaste splatter and gunk. The floor was tile but there was soap scum on the floor (I used my fingernail and got some of it off; Yuck! After flushing the toilet, the stool ran and didn't shut off. When the person next door used water, it made our toilet run more. This is supposed to be a pet free hotel and the lady next to us had a little dog and a German Shepherd; they were not service dogs! The German Shepherd kept barking. The breakfast was really sad. You could make waffles, have cold cereal or a honeybun. They had community shared milk, bread, butter and peanut butter. The trash was overflowing in the breakfast area and this was at 7AM. Breakfast started at 6AM. I complained to the manager on staff, Corey, about how dirty our room was and he said he could check us now (we still had one night to stay) and be done with it since we weren't happy. He was extremely rude. Also, our room wasn't cleaned after the first night. We were shorted towels, bed wasn't made, floors swept, no new cups, etc. Don't waste your money on this place it's disgusting! The manager is rude and not willing to make anything right to accomodate the dirty room.

Lobby full of people waiting to check in. Very slow. Poor maintenance and up keep. Had to find HDMI cable to get TV to work. Air conditioner not working. On of our rooms had blood stains like there may have been a fight.

We ened up having to stay in a room that had TERRIBLE AND OVERWHELMING cigarette smoke smell because the room we were supposed to stay in had bad batteries on keylock so had to switch rooms. We had a late check in as we were at a concert and had told the mgr that earlier that morning so by that time we just wanted a room to sleep

It’s a super 8 in Knoxville do the expectations weren’t too high. The room was ok but dirty. I think housekeeping only changes out towels and bed sheets. The whole place could use a through cleaning.

First I came into the building to check in and the person at the desk could not communicate with me and I had to call on a phone to talk to someone that was not much better just to get checked in, he was not even onsite. We then went into the room and right away I see a completely exposed light socket on the wall between the bed and stand. I have a six year old with me so that was unsettling. Then my wife asked me to look at the bathroom because there was a hole showing in the shower because the cover was not on the shower spout correctly. This had to be the worst stay I have ever had at any facility that I can remember. Never again will I stay at a super 8 anywhere.

When checking in the desk person noticed that Travelocity had canceled our reservation. I booked this and paid for it in January. They had to scramble and find us a room, they only had one left. The desk person was very nice and I was thankful that they had a room for us. They said Travelocity had done this to another guest the day before. I will think twice about using Travelocity again.

Our stay was pleasant. We had multiple problems with the TV, but the staff was kind and helpful. We could see they were trying to stay on top of upkeep on the room as apparently they were refurbishing the bathroom, apparently as it wasn’t painted yet. But all was clean and tidy. The only disappointment was there was not any waffles or fresh fruit. The bananas were brown but the waffles are 8’s calling card. We have stayed in 8’s before and like the clean and quiet and the kindness from the staff. But no matter how small the eating area … they always had waffles. This had a nice large area but, no waffles. It was still our pick of places to stay. Thank you

The only disappointment was there was not any waffles or fresh fruit. The bananas were brown but the waffles are 8’s calling card. We have stayed in 8’s before and like the clean and quiet and the kindness from the staff. But no matter how small the eating area … they always had waffles. This had a nice large area but, no waffles. It was still our pick of places to stay. Thank you

Locked cards in room accidentally and went to front desk to get a new one and no one there. Had a phone and said to push 0 and stay till answered and no answer. Waited in car and called every 10 minutes and nothing. After 1:45 minutes guy shows up

All went pretty well except for the checkout the next morning. I inadvertently left my coffee mug locked in my room. I did not realize this until after I dropped my key in the lock box. There were no attendants at the front desk. I left three messages on the nearby phone, one at 6:50 AM, one at 7:15 AM, and another at 9:40 AM. These did not get returned to me until after 5:00 PM and when I was over 175 miles away. Frustrating that there was no one one site to speak with and no one returning my call until after business hours. The manager did not even offer to send the cup to me but requested that if I wanted it I could have someone come by and pick it up. Don't believe I'll be staying in this hotel again. Not happy.

We stayed for two nights in a single room with a king bed. The room was decent sized. I noticed right away how dirty the bathroom was; hair all over the shower, mirror and floor, the caulking around the stool was coming off and sticking out, the area between the mirror and sink was really nasty with toothpaste splatter and gunk. The floor was tile but there was soap scum on the floor (I used my fingernail and got some of it off; Yuck! After flushing the toilet, the stool ran and didn't shut off. When the person next door used water, it made our toilet run more. This is supposed to be a pet free hotel and the lady next to us had a little dog and a German Shepherd; they were not service dogs! The German Shepherd kept barking. The breakfast was really sad. You could make waffles, have cold cereal or a honeybun. They had community shared milk, bread, butter and peanut butter. The trash was overflowing in the breakfast area and this was at 7AM. Breakfast started at 6AM. I complained to the manager on staff, Corey, about how dirty our room was and he said he could check us now (we still had one night to stay) and be done with it since we weren't happy. He was extremely rude. Also, our room wasn't cleaned after the first night. We were shorted towels, bed wasn't made, floors swept, no new cups, etc. Don't waste your money on this place it's disgusting! The manager is rude and not willing to make anything right to accomodate the dirty room.

The chair to the desk in our room was broken. Hurt my husband's back when he sat in it and found out. Luggage cart is broken. Barebones hotel. Clean place to sleep. Quiet. Breakfast was pretty bad, no healthy choices. The room was okay. There were outlet covers missing, the toilet ran all night, there were incomplete repairs in the bathroom.

Our stay was pleasant. We had multiple problems with the TV, but the staff was kind and helpful. We could see they were trying to stay on top of upkeep on the room as apparently they were refurbishing the bathroom, apparently as it wasn’t painted yet. But all was clean and tidy. Rooms were clean but broken. Chair arms were broken. Tv was very difficult to operate. Chair sunk from long wear. Definitely needs undated furniture. Not worth price. Not continental breakfast.

I stayed for three (3) nights at the Super 8 Wyndham in Knoxville, Iowa and I was extremely disappointed, in general. I’ve always associated Wyndham with quality and professionalism, however, this time I was surprised to find how lackluster the whole experience was. Here’s a list: 1. Rude and unfriendly non-English-speaking staff. 2. Common hotel curtsies like; late check-in & check-out were not observed. 3. Dank, smelly room did NOT appear fresh, clean or in good working condition. 4. Lack of information/instruction/signage of hotel and room amenities were unavailable, such as; use of electronics, TV & WiFi access. 5. Missing amenities (coffee pot) or malfunctioning (microwave) equipment. 6. Hazardous, missing AND non-working parts of tub-NO rubber runner on tub bottom to prevent injury(lack of them caused a fall…nearly a crime scene). 7. Limited and bolted down cleaning supplies was difficult to access in a very slippery tub. 8. Stingy allotment of paper supplies, such as; TP & Kleenex. Given out one at a time, so multiple calls needed. 9. Extreme expense of vending options. 10. Unreliable room keycards.
