Does not have a full time spa! Parking is an issue

Pretty property in good location, but parking is not good. If you are unable to get a parking place near the hotel and are out later, you have to park in a parking lot that is down a lot of steps.

Parking is bad. The stairs going down to the parking are rickety and the one step near the middle landing is missing a board! There has to be a better way to access the parking lot.

Hot tub is broken, bathroom floor was sticky and the room was not as nice as advertised.

Good dining options within walking distance. Excellent walking along the riverfront. Room is good with mini-split ventilation. Bathroom is an awkward layout with almost no horizontal space. Wooden stairs to the parking lot has dangerous loose board. No electric vehicle charger. Nearby city charger was occupied.

Everything was nice except less parking areas of their own.

Parking is terrible. Night time desk personnel grumpy and unfriendly. Cleaning staff excellent. Bar staff very pleasant. Room average but very comfortable.

Parking is atrocious for someone that needs a handicapped parking spot. Only 4 offered and then you try your luck finding a spot on the street, if not, you have to go down a level to the parking lot that is a public lot.

Really liked the location. Restaurants & town were within walking distance. Nice that they had a bar in the lobby area where you could also order food. Got a great massage in the spa. Parking is limited at the hotel but there is a large parking lot within walking distance. Room is a little dated but it was clean. I would stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and nice. Rooms were very clean . bathroom was extra large . Nice view from room of Niagara river . Breakfast was great plenty to choose from .

The room smelled of mildew and sewage. They didn’t have any other room available and there wasn’t a manager on duty to discuss

Awesome hotel! Will definitely be my first choice of places to stay. Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in.

Nice breakfast and clean rooms

Upon arrival into our room, many, many things were extremely outdated, not fixed and very shabby and unclean. Lamp shades had marks all over them, in the bathroom, there was mold spots on the wall; the floor had cracked or missing pieces of tile where if in bare feet, you could cut your foot; the grout in the bathroom on the floor was filthy and disgusting. I could go on, but what is the point? I will never stay here again nor recommend to anyone!!

They need to do a better job of cleaning the rooms. Had mold in the shower and the AC unit on the wall had dust and cobwebs blowing when it was on. Evidence of water damage in the room. Window wouldn't shut all the way. Extremely disappointed. Not worth the money I spent.

The staff was courteous, the room very clean.

Around the hotel was fine. Just an old hotel that needs some maintenance and upgrades. Room wasn’t really clean had mold in the bathroom just had a funky smell with the carpet

Location is great, beautiful area. Hotel needs some updating and general cleaning, lobby bathroom was filthy, garbage overfull in lobby area. Room was spacious but could definitely use a thorough cleaning and update. We have stayed numerous times and will stay again due to the convenient area attractions.

The first room we were assigned to had a very strong offensive odor. We were reassigned to a different room. The room had no hot water. We weren’t able to shower and my husband had to shave with cold water. The front desk had no resolution. There was no manager on duty, she didn’t know when the manager would be in “I don’t know their schedule,”no on call manager, there was no maintenance person available, she never apologized for the inconvenience, said I would have to get ahold of the manager if I wanted any compensation or resolution. They have no plan for solving conflicts.

We LOVED that our room was so big with updated decor. However we paid extra for an upgraded room with whirlpool jaccuzi and we were told all upgraded rooms are on the first floor. We were also disappointed our view was facing nothing but overgrown bushes 10 feet from our window. We also heard every step from the people above us… through most of the night and early morning. Also annoying was despite the huge bathroom, they did not provide a light above the vanity. It was so bad I didn’t use it for applying makeup. If it weren’t for these several things, are stay was perfect!

We had such a great time , everything about the hotel was wonderful except one thing . The walls were so thin that when we tried to sleep at night the people above us were creeking the ceiling felt like they were gonna fall through , & our room was right next to the lobby & there was some kind of event , there was people being loud all night . I think if the walls were more insulated it would have been better . Overall we had a great stay would still recommend

Unfortunately, we had really high hopes for this stay. The room was outdated and our view was literally the house next door and their pile of trash. The people above us were loud, we were on the first floor and you could hear everyone in the lobby at the bar. For the price you would expect more, but this hotel was pretty average. The breakfast was okay and offered some different things (yogurts, pastries, bacon) not usually in your typical hotel breakfast. In terms of proximity to the sights, it’s nice and not too out of the way. The town is what made our stay memorable. If we ever return, we will find other accommodations.

Wonderful staff. Booked Riverview room, but overlooked construction site — no restaurant open during week on site, which was not disclosed. King bed had inexpensive mattress—not comfortable. In room shower was nice.

Beautiful hotel, within walking distance to many restaurants and the main town. It is at the bottom of the hill so if you’re walking it is a hike up to town. My only downfall was that it is older, so you can hear the rooms above you walking and getting ready for their day, so you will not be sleeping in. I would definitely stay again.

Charming area, a couple of restaurants within walking distance, beautiful views, outdoor seating and eating areas with umbrellas.Hotel was clean, nicely maintained, good breakfast food. My only complaint was the poor quality internet in the area and WiFi wasn’t any better; and the room was hot, air conditioning not keeping up with the hot temps outside.

This is the best hotel in the area. It’s clean and safe, well located and staff is great. I’ve been here three times now and the biggest complaint I have is noise. If there’s a floor above you it may sound like the ceiling is going to fall when people stomp. You can hear “everything” the guests say and do. The Ac/heat unit is tricky to operate. But once I fall asleep I rest well on the comfortable bed. The showers are big. Parking can be a pain as the few close spaces fill fast and you end up on a street or lot. They do allow dogs.

Rooms are huge and shower is also large and nice. The bed was fine. I slept well. Great area a few minutes walk from the water. Great restaurant, Griffin, right there. The problem is there are a lot of places with chipped paint or bumps and dents on your way to the room. I think almost every doorway was like that. But for one night it was fine and the setting cannot be beat.

We always enjoy coming to Lewiston. Friendly front desk staff.

When I needed help with personal interest not related to my stay, Sam & Megan quickly provided me with recommendations, resources & places to go that would help me. All Niagara Crossing staff members were friendly, kind & professional. Special thanks to Sam, Sarah, Megan & Abby that helped me above & beyond hospitality goal to accommodate & enjoy ourselves during my stay. All staff members, including Groundskeeper/Maintenance (which kept guest safe especially from snow, ice & lobby area upkept), Housekeeping & Bartender, greeted me warm greetings & a smile. I could tell everyone was compassionate about their jobs & enjoyed being at work during my entire stay. We were really comfortable in our room & had a beautiful view of the Niagara River. Breakfast was served with a variety of options, all day juice, coffee, cocoa, tea with beautiful lobby decoŕ, open bar on Friday & Saturday, great dinner menu options & beautiful/spacious event room. On my next visit to the Historic Niagara Crossing & Spa, I plan to take advantage of the One Bedroom apartment & Spa package(s). Thanks to Randy for the detail information on the apartments & assistance at 6am. My 11 year old & I would definitely recommend Niagara Crossing & Spa to you, our family & friends. This was one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve ever had. I was caught off guard by a “destination fee.” Maybe it was mentioned somewhere when booking through a third-party site, but I’ve never encountered one before, so it didn’t start things off well. I called earlier in the day to ask about early check-in, but nothing was mentioned about needing to be on a list. When I arrived, my room wasn’t ready, and I was told the only available room was for someone on a list. Had I known that was even an option, I would’ve asked to be added. Instead, I had to get ready for a wedding in my car — not exactly the start I’d hoped for. The worst part was my room key. It never worked. I had to go to the front desk every single time I needed to get in, even after they replaced it multiple times — as late as 10:30 PM — and it still didn’t work. Eventually, I gave up and kept my door propped open with a garbage can just to avoid going back and forth. This made us late to the wedding’s after-party. The front desk staff were kind and tried to help, but the hotel’s systems and building are badly in need of updates. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this was a standout — unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons.

Staff were very friendly. I arrived an hour early and they accommodated an early check in. Easy check in and check out. Grounds and scenery were beautiful.

We love staying here. It was our 3rd visit in 2 months. We love the vibe, the breakfast buffet is great, we love the neighborhood. There was a snafu with the reservation- Expedia reservation for TWO rooms didn’t flow over to their reservation system, but they were able to accommodate us on a busy holiday weekend, and upgraded us to an apartment, which was great for our 3 adult children.

This is a great hotel. I grew up in this area and come home frequently to visit, so it's very convenient location wise. Beautiful, safe, peaceful area with the Niagara River right outside. Great breakfast, friendly staff, very spacious rooms and accessible for those who have Accessibility needs.

Walkable to Art Park. Great room and value

Such a wonderful hotel! It’s right across from the river and just steps from the charming downtown area. We came for a concert and loved that Artpark was only a 5-minute walk away. Later, we strolled over to a nearby restaurant. The room was spacious, full of natural light, and so comfortable. A perfect stay!

Had a great stay. Hotel overlooks the river. Easy walk into Lewiston with lots of food and shopping. Grocery store nearby. Breakfast was good (although the same every day). Very friendly staff. Comfortable lobby. Clean, comfy room. Historic (read, older) but well maintained. Charming and comfortable.

The parking is a nightmare. Cramped breakfast serving space. Understand dogs allowed to be in the dining area, but also were in the serving space where the food is. Cannot be very sanitary.

Clean and surrounding area had beautiful views and a couple of good restaurants. Hotel did not have restaurant or it's bar opened( only weekends)
