The staff were welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The beds were very comfortable! The breakfast was great. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not functioning the whole week we were there… the pool wasn’t heated, freezing, making it ALSO unusable. This was actually very important for our stay, a relaxing girls weekend. I had actually purposefully chosen this place for the indoor pool and hot tub! So it dampened the trip quite a bit. But otherwise it is a clean place with a comfortable bed. Would recommend for those alone.

The hot tub doesn't work. The pool looked very old and as if the tiles and bottom of the pool had never been cleaned. There are no comfortable chairs at the pool. The first room they gave me had a horrible mildew stench so they had to trade rooms. The 2nd one didn't stink but the ac wasn't on. After we had the ac on for awhile it also started to smell like mildew. Breakfast was ok and the beds were comfortable.

We had a great quiet stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The chlorine in the pool room was burning my eyes but not horribly. Breakfast selection was great as well.

Hotel was great! Clerk at check in not so friendly! Elevators were out of order but were not told until check in was complete !!! We were on the second floor! She said we are welcome to use the stairs! That is definitely something that should be brought up before!

Tv reception was terrible in both rooms, desk stated nothing could be done. Pool closed for maintenance for 24 hours. This is not acceptable when traveling with children.

We stayed here when we were visiting the VA Safari Park and it was great! It was nice to be able to explore and come back to the relaxing hot tub and pool. The hotel is very clean and the staff is nice! Highly recommend this hotel!

First room was bug infested. Second room HVAC was not working and gradually increased 80+ degrees. Third room subpar and needed new sheets & blankets due to all being dirty. Breakfast was not stocked. Pool was not clean and also disgusting. Staff not helpful. Blew it off. Over $300 a night the night we stayed. Rip off. Highly recommend NOT staying here. Try Hilton or Holiday Inn. You’ll have better luck. Thanks!!

Our hotel first didn’t have any light bulbs that turned on then switched rooms and it was sooo stinky. Card keys kept not working had to get to front desk when we returned from being out. Cobwebs everywhere. It was an old stinky dirty place.

Excellent all round. 100% clean. Comfy bed and super cozy pillows (not hard). Excellent front desk service. Excellent modern desk chair. Easy parking, lovely trees and setting around sides and back. Convenient from freeway.

This stay was truly disgusting. Randomly I kept seeing a single big crawling in the room. After the 3rd bug, I opened the curtain and found the area crawling with bugs that were freely coming in and out of the window seal. I contacted Country Inn & Suites and they just said "Ok, we will make note of that". No offer to remedy the situation or anything.

The location is convenient to various restaurants and other points of interest. It's also near a high school, so watch out for football season Fridays (as we found out) if you're staying on the end of the building. The ice machine worked and the suite we had was nice enough, so we were happy. The strip on the floor in the doorway to the bedroom was torn up and made closing the door near impossible at times. Also, the water pressure was low to dribbling, so don't stay here for more than a couple of days (unless you like soap and shampoo in your hair). We would stay here again, but not for more than a couple of days at a time. Go check out the Safari Park, it's the reason we visit!

The hotel is in need of some serious upgrading. The cable service was the worst I\'ve encountered in a long time. The channels kept freezing or dropping all together. The staff that checked me in was less than enthusiastic. The toilet in my bathroom looked as though it had been repaired and re-sealed numerous times. Just replace it already. The "hot" breakfast was exactly the same every morning, with the exception of link or pattie sausage.

My only negative comment had to do with the individual that checked me in on August 26. She had a negative personality to begin with as it seemed that it was a bother to wait on me. Later on, she was asked tfor a recommendation on where to go to eat, she did print out a listing of food locations, but not being from the area, we had to go on our own. She had very little customer service traits.

Outside of the hotel is nice, lobby is clean and nice looking, the woman working the desk when we arrived at 9pm was not super welcoming, but maybe she was having a bad day. Room was a little damp feeling, but think the carpet might have been recently washed. Room was otherwise clean, if not spectacular. Could use some updating. Traffic side of the property was pretty loud which didn't make for the most restful night but we managed. Breakfast was nice though, had a waffle maker and coffee was decent, plenty of dry options and fruit, yogurt, milk, etc. Pool looked pretty good but we didn't use it. Not terrible for a one night stay, but maybe wouldn't choose it for a long vacation.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable. However, checking in was a disaster. The clerk was not the friendliest, I had to insert my card multiple times (I am praying I did not get charged multiple times). The staff in the breakfast room was very unfriendly_to the point that my seven year old granddaughter stated that she was grumpy and not nice. Would I stay again~no~your staff ruined that.

Stephen was an awesome front desk attendant. Very helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do in the area. I went to see Natural Bridge because of him and it was amazing. Overall, very comfortable bed and pillows, fairly quiet hotel.

No staff at front desk (in back room) both when checking in and out. No view of mountains, but clean room, with a bathtub, the latter is why l chose this hotel. The floor in my room was uneven/noticed while walking into the room, which was a bit unsettling. Gkad coffee was available by self-serve 24/7, as l left before breakfast waa served. Staff wasnt friendly, and was coughing (obviously sick) all over (including my room key card), and upon chevk-out the staff appeared to be sleeping in the chair in the backroom, do l dropped my keys on the desk and left

The location was nice did our visit. We had a room in the front of the hotel and the noise from the traffic was very loud all night long. It sounded like the wonders were open, but they weren’t. Overall, the property needs to be updated.

Very quick drive to downtown Lexington. This hotel is right next to a 7-11 which is so convenient. Warm breakfast was appreciated. Coffee was see-through… bring coffee or head next door to 7-11. My teenage son loved having his own space with his own tv since he chose to sleep on the sofa.

There were cookies as check-in, which was lovely. The beds were comfortable, as were the pillows. The sink had bar soap, which is fine, but the shower had sub-par shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner did not leave my hair soft like the Dove products did in the other hotels we stayed at on this vacation. The pool was cold, but the hot tub was enjoyable. The eggs at breakfast were likely from powder, but they had good yogurt and the rest of breakfast was good.

Bed was really comfortable, and location was convenient to Lexington and just off the highway. Some wear and tear with the hallways and doorways, and bathrooms do look dated (but still very clean). Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of options for just about everyone.

Great hotel, right off the Lee hwy. It has lot of dinning options within 1 mile radius. Enjoyed our stay, room was neat and clean. Host breakfast was awesome. But beds definitely need an upgrade. It was not comfortable at all sleeping on them.

Some of my family and friends stayed here for my graduation. The breakfast was great, consisting of sausage, eggs, a variety of juices and milk, waffles, fruits, etc. The staff were welcoming, helpful and very friendly. The comfortable beds and quiet rooms were a welcome respite after the excitement, making the graduation trip even more memorable.

Wasn’t great. Nobody at the front desk when I arrived. Phone ringing off the hook. I was ringing service bell. Finally saw a maintenance man. He started looking for someone. After about 10 minutes found him. Old hotel. Pretty clean. Breakfast lousy. Would not go back.

The hotel was located right off of I-81 so very convenient. Easy and close to everything we wanted to see and do. Staff was very nice. Wish the pool was bigger but that's not something the can change. Free breakfast was good with many options.

We needed a stop over for a long trip. I was familiar with the area and it was about halfway to home. Rooms was immaculate, breakfast was substantial and it was walking distance from food, gas, convenient stores. Slept well!

The staff was amazing! Amanda really supported our family when she found a place for us to be able to have a family night card game before we dropped our daughter off to matriculate at VMI the next day. It was a special memory for us and we were so thankful to the staff for making it happen.

Our overnight stay was enjoyable. The staff at the front desk was super helpful and kind. The building and amenities were a bit outdated but was also very clean so it made up for it. It was easy to get in and out of town. I’d stay there again.
