The rooms have been pleasantly refurbished. The location is excellent in relation to both Boston and Cambridge. The breakfast options are also excellent. One of the elevators was out and it was the weekend. Also the ice machine was not working. The staff were very helpful and polite.

It's a great place to stay when going to a show at the Chevalier Theatre, Medford, MA. There are lots of small shops around, bistros, etc. We stopped at a nearby Irish pub recommended by one of the very friendly staff members. The Theatre is a very short walk away, and the additional parking was reasonable and a great plus. It's a great location in a safe small city. The room was clean, the bed was firm and comfortable and the room was quiet overnight. In the morning parents let their children yell and cry in the hallway, but that was not because of the hotel, it was the parent's responsibility. I could hear the screaming through the door, but I didn't hear traffic. It had a nice bar, but I did not use it. Breakfast is included in the stay. I will stay again when I go to another event!

I have stayed at this property many times and it's been fine, but this time we had some issues. The elevators were working intermittently throughout our three-day stay. Hotel staff were working on them intermittently without success. The quality of the food at the breakfast buffet was worse than in previous stays. On check-in, I asked a room in a specific part of the hotel. The cleark said this would not be a problem, but gave us a room that was in a part of the hotel that we specifically asked to avoid.

I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel location is very convenient for driving to Boston and nearby towns such as Cambridge, Medford, Sommerville, etc. There is a large municipal parking lot adjacent to he hotel that offers free parking after 6pm and on weekends, so there is no need to pay for the hotel parking and use their parking spots when visiting on the weekend. The rooms are very large and spacious and contain a kitchenette, which is very convenient. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel includes a free breakfast buffet with hot and cold items (scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, yogurt, bread, bagels, etc.). The quality of the food was ok. The only negative experience of my stay was that the room (#316) was very noisy, with noise from traffic from the nearby highway and the hotel elevator running right next to the room. I recommend bringing ear plugs just in case or asking for a room on the 'quiet' side of the hotel.
