Suburban Studios Orange Park - Jacksonville near Naval Air Station

We were greeted with .. “I don’t have you on my list of arrivals.” As I searched through my emails - he found me reservation. He indicated - it was made on Expedia and it was not sent over to their system. I was told to call Expedia. I tried to find a phone number - but had no luck. He found a co-worker. She explained it wasn’t a problem. She left. He struggled, but gave us a key. I never provided a credit card or ID. Not sure if I will be charged or not. I believe the hotel has recently been renovated. Rooms were fine - but the outside area was lit up brightly all night. The curtain didn’t keep out the light. We survived. Only 1 night- but I wouldn’t return.

I had a great experience during the check in process the woman went above and beyond to help me. Advised he didn’t have any that house keeping wasn’t there. So no new sheets for us. Ended up checking out after 12 hours due to slamming doors and extremely loud people in the parking lot drinking and not being able to sleep comfortably in bed knowing the sheets had not been changed.

Property was undergoing renovations hence poor review , had noisy guess

In the middle of a renovation, the furniture looked as if it dug out of a dumpster. A guy a couple doors down said he lived there. People in room next door stood outside til midnight drinking and smoking. As a single woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe.

I had a great experience during the check in process the woman went above and beyond to help me. However during night shift I had called to get some clean blankets and sheets due to the current ones being dirty with hair and food crumbs not from us. Advised he didn’t have any that house keeping wasn’t there. So no new sheets for us. Ended up checking out after 12 hours due to slamming doors and extremely loud people in the parking lot drinking and not being able to sleep comfortably in bed knowing the sheets had not been changed.

Rooms are very clean we would most definitely stay here again.

Im so disgusted by my experience here. Rented 2 rooms bc we had 3 adults and 2 kids (only 1 male). They put us on 2 opposite sides of the building. The place is littered with not so savory characters so i went into the office to ask to refund one room and we would all stay together where we feel safe. The man at the desk immediately gave my husband an attitude and refused a refund so I went in and asked to speak to the friendly woman who helped me check in. He wouldn't tell me if she was coming back and started yelling that I should just stay in one room and lose the other money. I said there's no reason I should lose my money, if they had put us next to each other it wouldn't have been an issue but opposite sides, no way. He got really loud and unpleasant so I opened to office door and called for my husband to bring me my phone so I could record how he was behaving toward me. As soon as I turned around the man picked up the phone and acted like he was calling the cops. 40 mins later, no cops, so obviously he was bluffing but I can't believe this man treats customers like this and still has a job. I implore management to check the video. Ps. We put the bath mat down for my kids to take a shower, which didn't drain properly and by the time they got out the towel was disgustly dirty bc the floors clearly haven't been mopped in a long time. This place deserves all the terrible reviews it gets.

A lot of cockroaches in the room

The room had been cleaned, however it didn’t feel squeaky clean, and there were roaches. Upon check-in, the front office staff made me feel like I was bothering him versus happy to help. I would like to also note that the TV and Wi-Fi did not work the entire time we were there I also would like to note that online it says there’s a $20 deposit and it was definitely $50. I also would like to note that the $50 deposit charge went through on my account and is no longer pending, so I don’t think they have any intentions of giving it back so now I have to dispute it. If you’re looking for a quick cheap place to lay your head and do nothing else then it’s the perfect place if you don’t care about being uncomfortable or dealing with bugs.

I stayed here for three nights and overall had a good experience. The place was clean and the price was super reasonable. One of the rooms had a bit of a smell, but the front desk was really helpful and got me a new room really quickly. Appreciate the fast service — would stay again!

The showers were sparkly clean and the water pressure was to die for. I was asleep before my bed hit the pillow and they even allowed me until 1130 to get up and ready and out.

Plain motel, plain stay.

No microwave, iron or iron board in room.

Quite possibly one of the best stays I’ve had in Jacksonville. I’m down there at least once a month & have stayed at quite a few hotels. This one was clean, comfortable, and I felt safe! Plus the price is great!

The room was clean and newly renovated but the tv did not work, there was no coffee maker or microwave, one of the plugs next to the bed did not work.

Great Staff and a overall great experience would stay and recommend again

Shakira gave great service. The room was clean an it was pretty quiet during my stay next to some of everything in OP. Will definitely book here again if ever needed. The reviews didn’t lie. Best Rooms for your buck. And the cherry on top is Shakira! Thank you again!

Customer service was exactly what i needed. Precise, welcoming, very helpful with a positive attitude. I was treated very well.
