The Blue Moose: Nära till stan, bergen, badtunna och MER !!

Wonderful cabin! Very close to downtown and the Train Depot. Cabin has everything we needed and loved being able to hop into the Hot Tub at the end of the day. Would stay again on a heartbeat!

We highly recommend this well built, very clean, tastefully decorated adorable cabin in a great location! We enjoyed the mountain view by the firepit and the convenience to downtown. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of hiking. The host was fantastic! We will be back.

The cabin is clean and as described with great views and location. But the property owners' attention to detail is what really sets this place apart. The towels are fresh and plush, separate towels for the hot tub, robes for the hot tub, a private entrance right off of the bedroom, easy access to firewood, and all the necessities in the kitchen and the bathroom. This is a grade A find, don't pass it up. Will be back!

The Blue Moose is BY FAR the best VRBO I've ever stayed in. The house was super clean and the decor is sooo beautiful! The view from the front porch is stunning and the hot tub and firepit were the cherries on top! We will definitely be visiting the Blue Moose again!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We loved our stay at the Blue Moose! Having been a guest at several short-term rentals, the best ones stand out for doing the little things well. Check-in was a breeze and communication was exceptionally fast. The listing description was spot-on. We loved how close to town we were (and to our desired destinations for exploring the area)—but we also felt tucked away, it was so quiet.As for some of those little things…- Robes and extra towels for the hot tub were a plus- Small toiletries in case we forgot anything- All the needed small kitchen appliances you might need on a getaway- Coffee maker that could accommodate K-cups and a full coffee pot (drip)- Wine opener and variety of dishwater/glasses for just about any need- Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, which varied in density/plushness- Comfy chairs on the porch to watch the sun go down - Everything looked and felt super clean- Hot tub was great and already warm upon our arrival- Also, water pressure in the shower was great (you never know in the mountains)If you’re a couple looking for a place to serve as a base to explore the southern part of GSMNP, you should book here.Side notes: We like Bryson City over Cherokee, it is more homey feeling—so factor that into your decision. The Ingles in Bryson City had a better variety of items than expected for a small town—you can tell they expect a fair amount of tourists. And the best food we had our entire stay was at Bryson.Bakery—make sure to visit!

The Blue Moose was absolutely fantastic. It was just as advertised. Very clean and a perfect location for exploring Bryson City, Cherokee, and the Smokey mountains. There is nothing I would change, and would rent this property again in the future.

Everything was clean and it was super cozy. We were close to town but still on a private location. We look forward to returning. I reading liked the guest book and seeing what everyone has done in town.

Katrina and Christy are simply amazing. Their cabins are immaculate with everything you need for an enjoyable and fun filled escape. Paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, tooth brushes, linens, fully stocked kitchen ready for you to prepare those family dinners at your home away from home, and the list goes on and on. These two wonderful ladies leave nothing but a clean and stocked vacation rental ready for you to walk in and start enjoying your time away. If any issues arise they are quickly and professionally addressed. If you are looking for a true gem in a perfect location in Bryson City and close to many other nice areas, this is it. You can look at the rest but I recommend you book the best, The Blue Moose.

The neighborhood and proximity to the downtown area was ideal. The house was insanely clean which is the number one thing we care about. We had a lot of fun as a family playing the games that were provided. Thank you for all your keen attention to detail, it truly made a huge difference in our stay!

This was our second stay at The Blue Moose. We love this location, close to all the amenities, & great view. Katrina has always been punctual with her response time when we’ve had a question. The cabin has been spotless each time we’ve arrived. The kitchen has everything we need. The only negative thing I can say this time is that within the year & 9-ish months from our first trip to our most recent (Jan. 22’ - Oct. 23’) we could tell a difference in the quality of the furniture. It had declined due to use…namely the couch & the bed frame. Outside of that we love The Blue Moose! We recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the best town in western NC. We will always first check the availability at The Blue Moose for our romantic getaways to BC.

Wife and I stayed at the Blue Moose for a motorcycle vacation. The cabin is beautiful and the view was amazing.

Enjoyed our stay. Only minor complaint is the mattress

We spent a week at the Blue Moose for our anniversary and it was wonderful! The cabin was decorated for Christmas and was so cute and welcoming! The cabin was clean and comfortable, the perfect size for two adults for a week. The bed was comfortable, the shower was fabulous, the fireplace amazing for cold nights. The location was so close to everything, yet also far enough away for a cozy private retreat. The views are breathtaking. The owner was awesome to communicate with. The cabin's location is perfect for day trips-we travelled to Sevierville and Cherokee, and spent a day in Bryson City. This definitely 5 stars!!!

2nd stay here & location is perfect. We did enjoy the hot tub, sitting on the porch and watching fireworks on the 4th. Normally not having the best TV or WiFi connections would not be an issue. But my husband has very painful knees as he awaits replacement surgery. We came here to attend a music event in the evenings. During the day, our hope was to relax - watch TV, movies & rely on WiFi. We arrived late on Wednesday & discovered poor reception of TV channels. The next morning it was worse. I sent a message through the app. We tried to make do but became increasingly frustrated with no entertainment to pass the heat of the day. By Saturday (2 days) we had not gotten a response about the TV/internet issues. We decided to leave 2 days early. As we were packed and about to leave, I sent the desired message on the app & we left. Six hours later I saw that the owner offered to come check out the tv and WiFi issues but it was too late. I did not see this until we stopped in VA. I explained that we had been packed & about to leave when my msg was sent. I haven’t received another word or explanation for the technological issues we experienced! I know almost nothing about satellite TV but maybe the trees along the side of the house are blocking the reception? And some instructions for TV or WiFi issues would be great! We really could not enjoy any normal tourist activity due to mobility issues. We know the owners can’t help that, it’s our issue.

Beautiful cabin in a perfect location, finishings in cabin are to a high standard with a home from home feeling. Lovely views looking over the smokies when sitting on the porch. Would love to return

This was one of our favorite VRBO experiences. The owners were so courteous, and the cabin was wonderful! If you’re going to Bryson City, you definitely need to stay at the Blue Moose!

If you're looking for the cutest mountain-view cabin within city limits...this is it! Although my family didn't, you're definitely able to walk into town and get just about anywhere. Just can't beat the view from the front door and it's proximity to town. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub! We spent most of our time in the Nantahala Gorge zip-lining and horseback riding. This was about 10 minutes away from the cabin. We had a great time and a lovely stay at the Blue Moose. I would stay again if I'm ever in the area :)

This was our second time staying at Blue Moose. The first time was our honeymoon in Oct 2022. Just like the first time, it was absolutely perfect. You are so close to town but where the cabin sits feels pretty secluded. It’s exactly what we needed for a short weekend getaway! We will be returning.

I only did one night, but everything was super easy. The only “feedback” I have is that the directions were a little confusing and it took a minute to find the cabin. Cabin was clean and clearly guest experience was a priority.

The location was perfect as we could be in Dillsboro or Cherokee in a short ride. We found that we didn’t need to far with all of the places we discovered in Bryson City. We will be back with the kids for Polar Express in 2025.

The only issue is coming at night and theres no sign closer to the road indicating that property is there
