One night weekend stop over with a budget in mind. 3 blokes who weren’t expecting anything too much. Clean, quiet - after closing time - with bar and sport. Perfectly adequate accommodation for our collective budget.

It's dated but what great value for money.. In need of a revamp but the service was friendly, nice atmosphere and 4 of us had meals and they were excellent.. If your happy with basic rooms with TV and tea & coffee facilities you will be happy.

The floor creaks alot and it's uneven. There were used soap in the shower that's a turn off but i travel with my own and there were no hand soap in the dispenser. I wasn't aware of noise (karaoke) coming from downstairs from the bar it's convenient for a lime but only thing you have to wait till after 11pm before the noise ends if you want to sleep. I love the how the room looks more like a home rather than a hotel and for me the heating took like 2-3 hours before the room start feeling warm.

Licencee of pub was very welcoming. Room was okay. It was tired and needed a lick of paint. Matress was poor quality but linen was clean and room warm. Noise from the bar below was horrendous. You may as well spend the evening in the pub as you are not getting to sleep until the pub closes and the music is turned off.

The pub had music playing till later. I get up at 5, couldn't sleep as the room was right above the bar, people talking outside and smoking when the room window was opened the smell came in.

Very much a pub before its a hotel. Lots of noise from pub downstairs until 11pm. Pub quiz on till 10 0clock, could feel the sound through the floor. Ensuite bathroom very small and dirty. Shower door broken. Shower only luke warm. Room grubby. Hairs in bed and bits on floor. Room cold and only a small radiator not enough to warm it. No body available in morning to discuss issues with.

Don’t like writing bad reviews but the room was dirty. Cobwebs everywhere, dust on in surfaces, mould in shower. Toilet flush kept sticking shower was awful and tripped the fuse couldn’t get it to right temperature there was a false nail left on the side and the noise from the music went on till 2am on first night. Really disappointing

So sorry but apart from clean bedding and good towels the accommodation was very poor. A half decorated room. Shower ceiling black. Half painted tiles in the showrr room. It was like ... we've done part of it. Can't be bothered with the rest.

Hereford for one night for work. Checked in afternoon, went for Nightshift then back for a few hours sleep till checkout. Glad I wasn't sleeping overnight; I came back after nightshift at 0630 on Sunday morning, couldn't believe the noise from inconsiderate people making no effort to be quiet and total lack of respect for other guests, walls paper thin so you can hear every word of conversation from other rooms. Decor very tired, massive amounts of mould all over shower, and the shower head was disgusting. It's a cheap place for a very good reason. I'll happily pay more and go elsewhere - don't let the pictures fool you. All the staff were very pleasant and polite.

Place has really gone down hill. Mattresses were thin and could feel the springs. Broken towel rail, shower didn’t work at all. Kettle lid was broken. Decoration was shoddy. Mouldy ceiling in the bathroom. No breakfast. No shampoo. Won’t stay there again. Could have stayed at the Hilton for same price.

The staff were friendly and really nice but even they could not make a silk purse from a sow’s ear. The hotel accommodation is very dated. Room 15 has issues with health and safety. Very narrow passage to the room door and a big brown obstacle was in the way. There is a very sudden change in floor levels with caused me to trip. And again in the night. It was cheap so can’t complain too much. The mattress offered zero support and you could feel every spring digging into you. Sink was cracked. It just wasn’t in pristine condition.

Fine if you need a place to sleep, nothing fancy or particularly stylish. They don’t provide any body wash, shampoo or conditioner which I would expect at a hotel. Walls also seem to be quite thin so you can hear comings and goings which I assume would be a little irritating if the hotel were full. Rooms seemed clean and nicely presented.

Check in was fine. The room was so small it was like sleeping in a broom cupboard, the carpet was filthy, the bathroom was to small to be a bathroom and the dressing table mirror was not a mirror had no glass in, window was filthy, bed was very low. Food was fine

The kitchen was down when I stayed but I was able to eat at a local Toby Carvery .The room had a shared bathroom but at the price I paid I was happy with that . The room was clean , the bed was comfortable . There were tea and coffee making facilities . I was bike packing and they locked the bike in an outside garage . Would recommend to bike packers

The hotel is looking 'tired', my room could have done with a lick of paint and there were carpet stains, however my room was safe and warm. Not value for money though. Issue compounded by the fact that the bin-lorry arrived at 4am (yes - 4am), appreciate that this is not the fault of the hotel, but it needs a mention.

We had a brilliant time here after the races such good value good beer madri and a brilliant singer on in the evening didnt have food there as they serve 12 til 7 the room was great comfy bed clean and all we needed will deffo stop again loved it thank you 😊

The Beverley inn was lovely the staff are really friendly and food is amazing all home made. It was a nice stay. Will definitely be my go to when back in the area.

Brilliant value for mny for the room very helpful friendly staff and locals very good home cooked food ( evening meal ) with excellent value for mny also lovely breakfast ( breakfast isn't normally available but due it being st ledger was on )

It's dated but what great value for money.. In need of a revamp but the service was friendly, nice atmosphere and 4 of us had meals and they were excellent.. If your happy with basic rooms with TV and tea & coffee facilities you will be happy.

Rooms need cleaned better . Cobwebs on light fittings and windows. Basic rooms needing upgraded , new carpets etc . Cheap and functional. Bar better than the rooms . Food was good at reasonable prices . You get what you pay for

Very disappointing stay. I booked this hotel expecting a quiet place to rest, but the room was directly above the bar, where there was extremely loud karaoke and music until around midnight. This information was not clearly disclosed in the hotel description before booking. I contacted the property through Hotels.com asking when the noise would stop, but I received no response or support. If you're looking for a peaceful night's sleep, I would not recommend staying here.

Our room were very tired alot of maintenance was needed in the room The carpets were stained and sticky. The furniture was poor quality and the beds were very rickety and squeaky.Areas of the room were very dusty and dirty stained walls ,the ensuite was in need of updating behind the sink and toilet were very dusty and the shower cubicle was full of mouldy grout and missing or broken tiles. The only part of the room that we're clean was the sheets and towels and the toilet basin and sink. There was a lot of broken or damage to the decor.

The rooms are dated . Could do with new carpets and a coat of paint . Functional toilet and shower . It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. Food in the bar is good . Ate here a couple of times . Parking for free . Checkout is too early at 10 am . Would be better if it was 11am .
