Like that it was close to our event but picked this Inn for the hot tub and it was brown and disgusting, so son was very disappointed as was I as this is the one treat we were looking forward to after a wrestling tournament of hard work for 12 hours!

I loved having a pizza restaurant right in the parking lot! It was super convenient for a quick and close dinner. The sauna was nice and the hotel was clean and lobby was welcoming. This property is excellent and has great staff. The breakfast was good. There is an indoor pool that many visitors were using. Parking was ample and accessible to two different doors. Rooms are appointed with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. TVs are smart and you can access your own accounts for streaming. Hallway is wide and makes it easy to get to your room when carrying bags. Highly recommend!

I redeemed points to stay there for an emergency and was treated like trash. They charged more than advertised for my pet to stay. When I asked the person checking me in for a number to call to file a complaint she stated that she did not have to give me the number and became even more rude. Woke up to the elevator not working, was on the top floor, and have disabilities, so that was fun. Room was okay but did have dried soap around the sink and smelled musty. Very disappointing.

Two remotes, tv was off and on for the whole time. It was like a cheap version of Hughes net. Tv was almost never working right. Toilet leaked, told them . They “fixed it”. Then it leaked even worse. Too much chemical smell.

Typical modern hotel with no notable features aside from a dramatic overuse of scented products throughout. I don’t have any great sensitivity to smells, but I found it a bit overwhelming both in common areas and the room - where we opened the window and left the hotel for an hour or two to let it air out. A pretty good breakfast selection.

We had to leave this property in the middle of the night. The odor of chemicals was so strong it was giving me a headache and nausea. The front desk promised a refund but haven’t heard anything yet. So disappointing and scary leaving at night.

The room was clean overall and it was comfortable. One of the sockets on the side of the bed was not working. On my second night I woke up with a few bed bug bites. I noticed that the bedsheets and mattress cover have slipped off the mattress at the head of the bed, so it was probably coming from the mattress.

The bed was hard. We both slept poorly. The window would not open on the ground floor. I was concerned what would happen in case of a fire. The breakfast was a fair try. The curtains didn’t really block out the light from the parking lot. The staff were friendly. The place was clean the TV worked. There were exhaust vents and a heat lamp on the bathroom. The fireplace was nice and going morning and night.

Room was clean, not a fan of hardwood floors in room. Breakfast was good. Walls seemed thin could hear neighbors turning on hair dryer. Seems to lack small amenities that other large chain hotels provide such as makeup wipes, body wash, etc. Very welcoming for pets! Outside area was clean and a nice area to take pets outside. Nothing that ruined our stay tho.

We have stayed here several times because we enjoy the pool/hot tub, and the breakfast options are very good. The staff at the counter are always very pleasant. Our last stay housekeeping tried to walk into out room twice (once without knocking) before the noon checkout time. Thankfully after the first time we put the bar across so they could not walk right in the second time. There needs to be better communication about which rooms are vacated.

Had a problem / confusion about the number of nights on the reservation. Front desk staff was bitterly argumentative, no one from management available for escalation, refused to correct the error. I had to run around to make alternate arrangements. The worst hotel staff experience I have had.

The front desk staff was very lazy, they found it exhausting to unlock the door at night when my husband wanted to go out and check on our vehicle. They looked at him and have a huge loud exhale sound each time. When I wanted change for the vending na home I had the same response from a different clerk. We will never be back…

I called a few days ahead and asked for a room near the lobby or just not a long walk down a lonely hall as I am female, over 65, and mobility-impaired. Before my wife and I stayed here, we read mixed reviews and really weren't sure what to expect. When we arrived were so pleased on how fresh and clean the lobby, dining area and especially the rooms were. You can tell the property is well cared for. The staff were kind and helpful. The hot breakfast had eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits, waffles and more. The hotel is close to a busy road but got quieter as it got later at night and it didnt affect our sleep. Lots of restaurants and retail stores nearby. We chose the hotel because it's very close to the Evergreen State Fairgrounds and we were going to an event there. It's the only hotel that we have stayed at in Monroe but would recommend this hotel for anyone that is going there.

It’s nothing fancy. There is a bit of deterioration. For example, the shower curtain is torn. The shower rod has been stabilized by the addition of extra (non-cosmetic-looking) bolts. Still, the location is good. There’s a big Fred Meyer a couple blocks away, Starbucks, and plenty of other eateries close by. If you’re just looking for a spot to sleep, it’s just fine. Lady at the front desk was kind and helpful, also.

This property is excellent and has great staff. The breakfast was good. There is an indoor pool that many visitors were using. Parking was ample and accessible to two different doors. Rooms are appointed with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. TVs are smart and you can access your own accounts for streaming. Hallway is wide and makes it easy to get to your room when carrying bags. Highly recommend!

Staff goes over and above in friendliness and service. New carpet and fresh paint everywhere with attractive decorating. Breakfast is best we’ve ever had. Biscuits and gravy, waffles with sausages and scrambled eggs. Two kinds of juices and great coffee.

NEGATIVES: I think we got the room (210) that all the less than stellar reviews are about. ~ The room smelled of mold. Thankfully, we were only there to sleep. We kept the windows open and the AC on - which helped some. ~ The closet door did not close (the hangers were deeper than the closet), which made the open door space invasive. ~ Bathroom door does not stay closed unless latched ~ The tub didn't look very clean and it is an old school tub with rounded sides so the bottom is not flat. ~ Went to crawl into bed and there was a long black hair under the pillow ... not ours. We pulled the sheets back and determined (hoped?) that it was from whoever made up the bed, not a previous guest. * We could not move rooms, everywhere was full ... other hotels as well (state fair was on as well as several weddings in town) POSITIVES: ~ Good location ~ Staff friendly ~ Good breakfast ~ Sufficient amenities ~ Beds were comfortable ~ Well lit parking lot ~ Fairly quiet ~ Property in general was clean ~ Our friends stayed in room 209 and said they had no complaints / did not have any of the negative issues mentioned above
