All ice machines were out of order. Breakfast was 2 types of cereal. Frige in room smelled bad and frig gasket was coved with mold. Light sockets were missing wall plates. The outside lights were out. So it looked like they were closed. Hotel did not offer any discounts at all. I will never stay there again. I will tell all my friends not to stay there. The bed was a king size cot.

I didn't like they said there was a pool and breakfast but there wasn't also the back door was broke and anybody can come threw it and my room was right next to it.

Property was clean, however there was wall paper peeling off the wsll by the bed. Lamps were missing the light bulbs so had to switch the one bulb between the lamps to make due. Towel rack in bathroom was missing the bar and brakets were torn from wall. Tissue box was empty. Said it had breakfast but no one there at 6 am. Coffee machine out of order, juice machine turned off, no food. Tile on steps to second floor missing, not safe. Generally not as advertised and pretty disappointing.

This place was horrible. Front desk staff is rude. The exterior of the building/common grounds were in terrible shape with trash and weeds and broken down cars. The pool in the back had broken wood all over. The inside of the hotel smelled gross. Inside the hotel room, it smelled horrible. There was a hanging car freshener inside the A/C unit to make it smell better but who knows how long it was there. There was mold inside the AC unit. The sheets on the bed were so worn thin they looked really dirty. The floor was gross and the bathroom was dirty on the floor around the baseboards and the walls had stains on them. The hair dryer was stuffed in the metal Kleenex box on the wall that had to be pried open. There were so many cords plugged into an electrical outlet near TV and fan that it was unsafe. There is also a sign outside the hotel that advertised 24/7 Asian massage in room 223. Later that evening sheriff cars were surrounding the building. I have never been scared for my life to stay in a place like this.

We booked this hotel while on the road. We mainly chose it for the pictures of the pool and hot tub. We stopped our traveling early for the evening so we could enjoy a swim and relax in the hot tub. Upon arrival we see a sign on the pool room door that says it's closed for maintenence. We had to ring to the bell and wait for service. We were greeted by a very rude clerk that acted like it was a bother to wait on us. We asked when the pool would reopen and she rudely said never! I said we booked here because it had a pool so thats a real bummer. She said so are you saying you dont want to stay because if so you will have to call whoever you booked through to cancel. I can't do anything. We called and couldn't get through to a person to try to cancel. The room had old stained carpet with something gooey and sticky on it in front of the fridge. The fridge and freezer had a lot of water from condensation. The door did not have the bar lock and you could tell it had been broken off. The towels were pretty thin and there was hair in the tub. You could look down the drain in the sink and see that someone had lost a larger locket and it hadnt been removed. Other than that it was clean and comfortable. I think the poor service and the pool being closed set the tone for us being a little picky about the room. Our kids were very disappointed in the stay for sure.

This is definitely an older facility, and was the cheapest option to stay in Newton for a remote-control flying gathering in Newton (also the weekend of the State Fair). If you're traveling and all you need is a bed, a shower, and a reasonably quiet place, this is a good place to stop. The beds are not luxurious, and the "continental breakfast" is very basic. But it was convenient to the RC flying field we were visiting, and it was right off the highway. It was just what we needed when we needed to be there.

I’m reminded that cheaper is not always better. It’s been a couple years since I’ve stayed here … and it was bad then! Long black hair in the shower, beer bottle cap on the carpet, towels and linen old/shabby and should be thrown out! Dirty walls, moldy walls in bathroom. No Kleenex and no plastic cups to drink from. No alarm clock in the room. Fan mounted on wall blowing but no batteries in the remote for it. Staff at front desk were terrible and most often non existent! Unsafe as the outer doors did not close and secure! This appears to have been done on purpose (I tried to close them so they would latch - and they wouldn’t) maybe because they appear to have rented second floor space on the second floor to individuals providing massages!!!! Lots of people coming and going. Hispanic man in a guests room with the door open while he argued with the cleaning lady … maybe they were married and arguing as there were small children running around in the room between them as they argued. I promptly told the cleaning lady my room was fine and did not need cleaning!!! Breakfast was a joke!!! Packages of hostess powered donuts and granola bars were offered! No bread for toast … no bagels! I will NEVER stay there again … it appears to be rundown and going out of business … it SHOULD go out of business!!!

I can’t begin to tell you how awful this place is. Please do not stay here. First sign was the big piece of tile missing at the top of the stairs. Huge tripping hazard. All lights on second floor hall didn’t have one cover. Which did not help the baby blue wall color. Room had a smell of mildew. Bathroom floor was sticky. Lamp shade had stains all over it. Headboard looked like it had never been dusted or wiped down. There were arguments clearly heard from other rooms throughout the night. All the towels had stains on them. This is by far the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. I would have checked out but all other hotels were booked. The next morning there was no breakfast but I would not have eaten it anyways. I went to the truck stop next door and there was a sign saying Asian Massage Room 223. This was three doors down from me. How does this happen?! This should be investigated and I can’t believe Travelocity has a place like this listed. The city of Newton needs to look into this as well. Disgusting! Please please do not stay here. One good note is the person who checked me in was very professional and courteous.

This hotel is very disappointing. Booked. A sweet Once we arrived, we were told they do not have sweets and have not had them in quite some time. But we're still charged the full price as well as the room was disgusting. There were big blood stains on the mattress. And when we told the management, they seemed to not care 1 bit.

Hotel was very average. The staff was friendly and we had no problems checking in or out. Breakfast was pretty limited in options. Room was ok, but there were stains in the toilet, hairs on the sheets and stains on the pillowcases, and I could literally hear everything going on on my floor. I did sleep well in the cleanest-appearing bed, but I was very tired, so that helped. The fan mounted on the wall came in very handy to white-out the noise from other rooms. I was sad this hotel was a little disappointing because the location and price were good for what we needed in that moment. I didn’t expect a pristine palace or anything, considering what I paid. I was honestly just looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep for the night and shower in the morning for an affordable price, as I was traveling across country. However, the Bathroom was not cleaned satisfactorily, there were stains all over the wall, not sure from what? The shower curtain rod was barely hanging onto the wall. There were two queen beds, both only had a sheet to cover the mattress and a very thin cover/quilt, no top sheet or any kind of blanket. The halls and outside area smelled like marijuana. There were several people mulling around outside the building late at night and the next morning (not sure who they were or why they were there). Overall poor experience. Wouldn’t stay there again.

My room was on second floor at west end. Room was fine but noise from interstate highway 100 yards away made it seem like I was sleeping on the guardrail. Other than that the room was clean and bed comfy.

Glad I was only staying one night. Desk clerk was unable to work the card machine. Check-in wasn’t smooth at all. Towels and sheets had stains all over them. AC unit was falling apart. Bed was very squeaky. Towel bar in shower fell off. No Kleenex where there should have been some. Soaps were used and broken.

The staff were very nice! This property is obviously in transition and had some up fits, but it needs a LOT of work. The first room had hairs on the pillowcases. We were moved to a room that had no cover on the air conditioner. It was quite late and we just wanted to go to sleep, so we took it, but the place was not acceptable.

Reserve this without knowing about it, but was a little put off to see they had a dedicated room for Chinese massage. Parking lot was sketchy enough that it made me want to cancel my reservation and find a better hotel because the back of my truck had valuables in it. Room was OK, one bottle of conditioner sitting on the nightstand and nothing in the bathroom. The bed had a The bed had a sheet and one of those thin blanket covers that is usually for decoration as your blanket but no actual blanket. Overall, just very odd.

If you're looking for a bed to sleep kn, this is the place. My bed was not very comfortable and I'm not very picky. It is right off the highway, so location is very accessible. My bathroom water faucet had a leak to the floor, so I kept getting my socks wet. The TV worked well.

The manager who checked us in was fantastic! Smiling, laughing, very helpful, but our room was extremely basic - to the point of no blanket on the bed or in the room. (We promptly received one when we asked). For a quick stop for the night the room was acceptable but we definitely wouldn’t stay longer.

It was a good place to spend several nights while in town. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were nice and fresh. The price of a night's stay was reasonable and not overly priced. I've stayed there before and would stay there again when visiting family.

We booked this hotel while on the road. We mainly chose it for the pictures of the pool and hot tub. We stopped our traveling early for the evening so we could enjoy a swim and relax in the hot tub. Upon arrival we see a sign on the pool room door that says it's closed for maintenence. We had to ring to the bell and wait for service. We were greeted by a very rude clerk that acted like it was a bother to wait on us. We asked when the pool would reopen and she rudely said never! I said we booked here because it had a pool so thats a real bummer. She said so are you saying you dont want to stay because if so you will have to call whoever you booked through to cancel. I can't do anything. We called and couldn't get through to a person to try to cancel. The room had old stained carpet with something gooey and sticky on it in front of the fridge. The fridge and freezer had a lot of water from condensation. The door did not have the bar lock and you could tell it had been broken off. The towels were pretty thin and there was hair in the tub. You could look down the drain in the sink and see that someone had lost a larger locket and it hadnt been removed. Other than that it was clean and comfortable. I think the poor service and the pool being closed set the tone for us being a little picky about the room. Our kids were very disappointed in the stay for sure.

Check in went well. Fella was pretty decent. Kind of trashy looking around motel. Room was not quite as pictured- kind of like a hide-a-bed without couch. Toilet slow to flush. Appeared that some possible long term residents liked to smoke weed but at least it was outside building

The parking lot was trash. At check in the staff did not present a friendly attitude. The rooms were nasty. The room temperature was all over the place. The beds were completely uncomfortable. *The pictures presented on hotels.com were not representative of the hotel. The hotel is dingy. It's by a truck stop and we found out some people entering and leaving were going to a room thats used as a massage parlor. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is definitely an older facility, and was the cheapest option to stay in Newton for a remote-control flying gathering in Newton (also the weekend of the State Fair). If you're traveling and all you need is a bed, a shower, and a reasonably quiet place, this is a good place to stop. The beds are not luxurious, and the "continental breakfast" is very basic. But it was convenient to the RC flying field we were visiting, and it was right off the highway. It was just what we needed when we needed to be there.

The lady at the front counter was very pleasant and nice. The hotel is disgusting. Broken down cars outside, some wrecked, and the property looks like a Beirut war zone. Not very assuring that my truck and trailer would be safe.

I guess I get what I paid for. The room was nice enough and clean. The breakfast was not good at all. It was powdered or chocolate donuts, a crunchy granola bar with juice. You could also have cold cereal or microwave oatmeal, but the microwave was broken and buttons did not work unless you pressed cook time. I would not recommend unless you were in a real pinch.

Hotel was very average. The staff was friendly and we had no problems checking in or out. Breakfast was pretty limited in options. Room was ok, but there were stains in the toilet, hairs on the sheets and stains on the pillowcases, and I could literally hear everything going on on my floor. I did sleep well in the cleanest-appearing bed, but I was very tired, so that helped. The fan mounted on the wall came in very handy to white-out the noise from other rooms. I was sad this hotel was a little disappointing because the location and price were good for what we needed in that moment. Property was clean, however there was wall paper peeling off the wsll by the bed. Lamps were missing the light bulbs so had to switch the one bulb between the lamps to make due. Towel rack in bathroom was missing the bar and brakets were torn from wall. Tissue box was empty. Said it had breakfast but no one there at 6 am. Coffee machine out of order, juice machine turned off, no food. Tile on steps to second floor missing, not safe. Generally not as advertised and pretty disappointing.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Although the cable didn't work when I entered the room the front desk fixed it right away. There were no bugs. However, the bed was as hard as a rock and you could feel the springs. I had to sleep on a blow up mattress bought at the store. All the side lamps were bright so not really the type of light you would want to leave on to walk to the bathroom at night. The tallest lamp kept going out because the plug did not fit snug in the outlet. The front desk changed the light bulb once right away when told it was out. The outlets on the night stand did not fit block chargers. I had to unplug the fan in the room to charge my phone close to the bed. Beware that they have coffee but it is only served during breakfast with doughnuts, cereal or oatmeal. The free parking was well lit and the ac adequate. The property is not maintained well with signs of peeling paint and water damage to the wood doors. Bathroom had dirt on the floor. There was no Kleenex and only three pillows for a king size bed and two adults. The couch was is poor condition and the towel rack in the bathroom was loose. The bath towels were more like the size of two hand towels sewn together. The staff was friendly and quick at the check-in desk.
