Disappointing due to renovations which are major

Excellent stay! We only planned to stay a week then stayed for another week because we loved it so much! Highly recommend this hotel, will absolutely stay here again. It’s on the beach and it’s so nice falling asleep listening to the waves.

The stay at the Outrigger was horrible. I will never stay at this hotel chain again. Staff was very rude, except for Holly at the pool and AJ at hula grill. No assistance with requests, ordered bell service to pick up our bags and they never showed, ordered a taxi to airport, the front desk never put the order in. Room was very old, the carpet was dirty, the bathtub was 1/2 the normal size of a traditional bathtub AND when taking a shower it felt as if you were going to fall through the floor. Water was dripping from bathroom ceiling onto a slippery tile that was very dangerous. The room smelt dingy. The pool is nothing like the pictures, very small. Duke’s food was horrible but Hula Grill food was great. Overall a horrible stay and very disappointed. I spoke to hotel manager and all I got was “I’m sorry”. No offer to compensate. I paid close to $750 for the night and honestly, it was worth $150.
