The hotel is nice. Great location and views. The only thing is that if you rent a car and want to park in the hotel is 57 dollars a day. But other than that is very nice.

Overall great, the only thing is just some of the "fees" they have, it's never upfront honest, not even with the breakfast price, but they have a great environment, good pool, and you got shopping close, transportation close, and people who work there are super kind

Oceanfront location is the main positive. Be aware the the added resort fee, which includes free beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board is only open until 5pm. So if your flight gets in at 2 or 3pm, you won't have time to take advantage of this exorbitant fee. Also, get your beach towel early before they run out. The rooms need an update, especially the sliding door to the lanai was hard to open. And the deadbolt needed adjustment to work. A plus was they held our luggage for a few hours after check out.

We stayed at this property for a week. We had an oceanfront room which was directly across from Waikiki Beach. We travel to the islands annually and I would have to say this is one of our favorite trips. This hotel is located right across from the beach and in walking distance to dining and shopping. Rooms were clean, cleaning service offered daily. Gym was nice size with a few cardio machine and weights. Pool was small and intimate. Never overcrowded, but who needs a pool when you’re across from the beach! Pros were location, nearby dining options in walking distance, service and staff. Cons were size of rooms for a family of 4, resort fee, parking fee. I would definitely stay here again despite our cons.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and local amenities…. It has a nice pool area and bar, and the room was pleasant… Parking is far from ideal…. Either valet parking at the extortionate rate of $54/ night or self park a 5 min walk away at a similar rate…. It’s at least a 20 min wait for the car, even if you request it in advance it still isn’t collected until you are there even though the parking appears to be on the second floor of the building. Reception staff are a little rude….. my key stopped working through my stay, and I was refused another key because I hadn’t taken my ID to the beach, and had no idea what incorrect phone number and email address had been recorded at check in… despite having a copy of my booking on my phone, basically the computer said no and u think the receptionist would have been happy for me to just sleep on the street! This definitely put a dampener on what would have been a very pleasant stay ….

The resort is an older property but well maintained. Elevator system is not ideal. Waiting for an elevator was the norm. At one point even the escalator was broken. Rooms were clean staff friendly. Parking was expensive but probably in line with other properties.

Great place to stay, very conveniently located next to beach and walking distance to shops/food. Loves being able to freely grab towels for day trips whenever needed. Do not recommend valet, people who used it had long wait times for their car each day. Instead park at Honolulu zoo, 3 minute walk away, pay for 4 hours and get a text later to extend for up to 20 hours at a time.

The front desk ladies are the best thing about the hotel. They have the best customer service. I thought this would be a good hotel that was a bit more budget friendly, but the first room we went to had long black hairs all over the bathroom floor and it looked like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We moved to a better room, which I paid an “upgrade fee for” and it was at least clean. I’ve never slept on plastic pillows that were probably 20 years old. We awoke at 6am to people above us opening and closing their balcony door. Then shortly after doors banging closed. zero sound proofing. You hear EVERYTHING. We decided to leave and head to the Marriott. The hotel was great about giving us a refund, Hotels.com was horrible to deal with in trying to get a refund and I spent hours - they said they would offer us a fraction of gold key cash or something, just to make us go away. I had to escalate to a few different supervisors to get it sorted.

The twin fin is a nice hotel walking distance to the beach, dining, and stores. They even have a pool. The people at the front desk were always super nice. And would check on you to make sure you're enjoying your stay. The only things I didn't like well before leaving I saw there was dust under bed, while looking to make sure i didn't leave anything behind, as well as the bathroom vent which is an easily fixable problem other than that everything was great.

The first room we got to had fleas. We were in the room for only a few minutes before we noticed them all over our feet. They were so small. I thought it was just dirt until they started jumping around. Both of us got about 20+ bites each on our feet and legs. This was both our first time experiencing fleas. The hotel gave us a different room which was nice, but they didn’t seem too concerned about the fleas. Then our last day there the emergency evacuation alarm went off at 04:30 am. We waited a little bit before leaving (10 minutes ish) to see if it was a false alarm before leaving. Then as we were leaving they came over the speaker and said it was a false alarm. I expected more the price it was. Very disappointing.

Hotel room cleanliness was not the best. Room service does the bare minimum, only cleaning most used places in the room. We paid for plane and hotel as a package through Expedia, when checking into the hotel we got hit with an extra $450 in “Hotel Fees” which was not mentioned anywhere. Hotel bed sheets had some sort of red/brown stain after room service, very interesting.

Location gets 5 Stars, however cleanliness gets 3 stars, condition of the room 2 stars. The rooms are extremely small (at least where I stayed, 6th floor), it's old and dirty, with carpet stains all over. After our room got flooded by water coming through the ceiling!!!! we were moved (at my request) to the 15th floor. The room on the 15th floor was in better condition, cleaner and a better view.

The ocean view from my room was absolutely stunning, and it was definitely the highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel had a strong, unpleasant odor throughout, which made it uncomfortable at times. Additionally, I noticed some German cockroaches in the lobby which was concerning. The cleanliness also left much to be desired, as we found areas that were not properly cleaned. It’s such a shame because the location and view were fantastic, but I think the hotel could really benefit from addressing these issues to make the stay more enjoyable.

We booked a king suite with a view. It was on the top floor and had twin balconies with a great view of Waikiki. Conveniently, the restaurant by the pool has great food, good service and live music in the evenings. Hotel seems a little dated, but the elevators are fast and quiet and the room was clean. Beach is actually across the street, but this is a little more quieter area of the beach. We will be back.

Check in situation was very confusing. No one on the main floor was there to tell us where to go and when we got to the elevator we didn’t realize you needed a key to access the reception floor. Room is very bare bones with most of the tv channels not working when you want to decompress before bed. But the bed and pillows were fantastic, very comfortable. We had a room with a balcony and you could hear everything going on outside. There was no soundproofing.that being said the view was beautiful and the location was great.

Room is very bare bones with most of the tv channels not working when you want to decompress before bed. But the bed and pillows were fantastic, very comfortable. We had a room with a balcony and you could hear everything going on outside. There was no soundproofing.that being said the view was beautiful and the location was great.

We have staying at this property for the last 3 years we have visited. It used be great but has sinced declined massively. We booked an extended stay this year so we were disappointed with what we received. Not sure if it's SOP for hotels to give guests that are staying a long time the worse room but that is what it felt like. We had to do a room change since the first room we got didn't have a properly locking front door. We had to wait 2 days before another room was available. Some of the issues we faced were: leaking bathroom faucet that needed to be closed a certain way to shut off, balcony sliding door that was misaligned so couldn't close or lock unless one person pulled the door in and another person pushed the lock down, the microwave was extremely dated with peeling paint inside and it was analog, hair dryer was extremely old and smelled of burnt hair if used, overall the room was also not very clean with stains on the bottom of curtains, bedside table extremely sticky. We brought up the misaligned door and leaky faucet and nothing could be done since it would mean major construction. Needless to say this was our last stay at The Twin Fin.

The best part of this hotel is the ocean front views ! I would definitely upgrade if you are able. The location is great for highway access, the zoo, shopping and the Waikiki wall. While the room we stayed in wasn't excessively large, it fit our family of 4 perfectly. The beds are small and could use an upgrade. We all loved the water pressure in the room, it was fantastic after a long day at the beach. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap smelled amazing and made my hair feel wonderful. The Tiki Bar and Grill was okay for lunch, the pork sandwich was delicious and their fries are on point. We only used the pool once for a short time, we mostly spent our time on the beach. Good walking distance for free parking. My biggest complaint are the elevators, you have to use your key card just to access the elevator bro your floor and they can become very jam packed. Otherwise, the staff are lovely and overall we were very happy with our experience. Highly recommend the Twin Fin.

Great views from the balcony if you have the full ocean view. The location is ideal with the beach across the road and so many places to eat so close. Lifts are very slow. Property is dated for what they charge. The room fridge froze everything and the above floor was leaking on the bathroom ceiling.

The Twin Fin is right across the beach, which is great! The beach is also fantastic since it's blocked-off, so it makes the water nice, calm and safe. The Hotel itself needs updating, it felt a bit run-down. We had joining rooms, which was nice, but but rooms lacked anything exciting. Beds were not too comfy, sheets were worn out and one of our bathroom door locks did not work. Both balcony sliding doors were hard to open/close and outside noise was very loud, even though we were on 23rd floor; we can hear strong winds coming in through slider and street noise from the road below. Not having complimentary breakfast was a drag, but we knew that getting the room. Overall, it's nicely located, but the hotel/room itself was not that great.

Just a warning to future visitors; the views and comfort are exquisite, but be prepared for the noise pollution. The one-way road between the hotel and the beach is one of the noisiest roads I’ve encountered, even at 15 floors up, but this is unfortunately outside of Twin Fin’s control.

This hotel is in a prime location- right across from the beach and within walking distance of all kinds of shopping, dining, etc. The view from our room was spectacular. However, the rooms are outdated and we experienced an issue with the keypad on our door repeatedly falling off. Additionally, we found "items" from the previous guest under our bed. The keypads on a few elevators did not work and the wait to get an elevator was annoying. The hotel is very busy and seems to be popular with the college crowd- if you're looking for quiet this is not the place. If you're just looking for cheap beachfront and not planning on spending much time at the hotel, it's fine.

Great location of the hotel was just a little disappointed on it's the ocean view that I booked. It was on the 5th floor which partially overlooked the ocean. The rest of it was a roof and birds that was very disappointing.

We had an amazing stay. This place is a great value, just go in with the right expectations. If you’re expecting high end, you’ll want to look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for quality, value, and ocean views, this checks all the boxes. First, The balcony ocean views from the room is great. Watching the sun rise and seeing all the early morning surfers with a cup of Hawaiian grown coffee really sets the day off to a perfect start. The bed was super comfy, especially after a long day of beaching and walking around. Take advantage of the provided sunscreen, towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, etc which were all a nice really nice value add. The views from the coconut club are beautiful and the daily fruit/granola offering was my favorite. We did have a couple of maintenance issues during our stay, but they were very quick to resolve them and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and plan to on our next Waikīkī visit.

I do not recommend staying at this property. At first, everything seemed great the staff was friendly, hotel was clean, everyone was helpful. A few days into our trip we were out having breakfast and I got a charge for $601.00 and $403 from the hotel. Upon arriving I went to the front desk to ask what the charge was for. They told me it was a fee for smoking in the room. Mind you we don’t smoke and the smoke report says we were cooking in the room. I asked them for more info in regards to that since we were at breakfast when the report was placed in our room. According to the hotel staff, the security guard, and assistant manager they don’t go physically go and check if someone has smoked. They say they have alarms which send data to an algorithm and tells them about changes in the air quality indicating someone could be smoking. I asked them to investigate further, I asked for maintenance logs, cleaning logs, etc. they refused to provide any proof as to the allegation. The hotel assistant manager Jackroy specifically told me “I’ll be honest with you, 100% of the time no matter the outcome we do not refund any money for fees.” None of the staff wants to help and attempts at getting the information for someone higher have failed. The assistant manager says he’s the highest person at the hotel. Now I’m stuck with fraudulent charges and they ruined our trip. The same night they had our key cards locked so we couldn’t get our things. Horrible experience

The valet service was sub-par. Sometimes it took over 20 minutes for them to retrieve my car. In addition, for some reason on my last night they returned my car to the budget office on property without my permission. I did not rent the car from that location. I found out after waiting over 40 minutes for my car on the day I was heading to the airport. I had to trust that the Susie (the manager) would take care of everything as I was running out of time to get to the airport. Susie was great. She took care of getting me to the airport at no cost and making sure my rental car was returned.

This is not my first time staying at The Twin Fin. The staff is always accommodating! I love the text messages checking up on the stay. It is extremely convenient. Tiki’s Bar and Grill on the 3rd Floor by the Pool is excellent as well. You can view and go to the beach with towels and chairs, have multiple shops available, and just overall walkable to everything Waikiki Beach! Highly recommended.

Either valet parking at the extortionate rate of $54/ night or self park a 5 min walk away at a similar rate…. It’s at least a 20 min wait for the car, even if you request it in advance it still isn’t collected until you are there even though the parking appears to be on the second floor of the building. Reception staff are a little rude….. my key stopped working through my stay, and I was refused another key because I hadn’t taken my ID to the beach, and had no idea what incorrect phone number and email address had been recorded at check in… despite having a copy of my booking on my phone, basically the computer said no and u think the receptionist would have been happy for me to just sleep on the street! This definitely put a dampener on what would have been a very pleasant stay ….

DO NOT GO THERE. This hotel absolutely awful. We were charged a huge smoking fee even though none of us smoke and no one smoked in that room. They gave us a generic "report" that proves absolutely nothing, and when we asked basic questions like when the detector was last calibrated, they said that information is confidential. Really? The manager was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. It honestly felt like he was reading from a script. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he's getting commission off of these false fees. That's how shady it felt Afterward, we found tons of reviews from other guests saying the same thing, they got hit with this same $500 charge with no proof. We thought it wouldn't happen to us. It did. This is daylight robbery. No evidence. No smell. No photos. Just a hotel abusing faulty machines and hiding behind nonsense to squeeze money out of guests. Avoid this place like the plague. Unless you want to check out, feel violated, and have $500 stolen from you for absolutely nothing.

This was a wonderful choice for ease of access to a variety of locations. We were able to walk anywhere in Waikiki from the hotel and had plenty of shops to visit our food to try. The staff were great.

We booked a king suite with a view. It was on the top floor and had twin balconies with a great view of Waikiki. Conveniently, the restaurant by the pool has great food, good service and live music in the evenings. Hotel seems a little dated, but the elevators are fast and quiet and the room was clean. Beach is actually across the street, but this is a little more quieter area of the beach. We will be back.

Location is perfect for beachgoers. Tiki’s is a vibey Restaraunt with live music and great views. We really loved using the credits provided for beach chairs, boogie boards. Initial walk in feel was kind of grimy with the escalators looking gross, but once you realize it’s a beach hotel with great access you get over it. Would stay here again!

The staff was extremely friendly, they kept my room clean with plenty of towels, the ocean view was fantastic and the pool was a lot of fun. They offer a lot of fun activities for the whole family. The tiki bar had great food good drink drinks and live entertainment. I definitely will be going back and staying again.

The staff was extremely friendly, they kept my room clean with plenty of towels, the ocean view was fantastic and the pool was a lot of fun. They offer a lot of fun activities for the whole family. The tiki bar had great food good drink drinks and live entertainment. I definitely will be going back and staying again.

Over all, it was a good stay in a good location. Only complaints were that the bed didn’t have fitted sheets on it and the blanket was very thin. Also, don’t pay $25 for the breakfast. It was very small, choice of three entrees and poor selection of pastries. The first pastry I bit into was full of mold, luckily they said they would refund me for the breakfast. Many better options right outside.

Utsikten över havet var underbar. Bra poolområde. Frukosten var god, men skulle gärna haft bröd och ost.

We stayed there 2 times this year, I love the close access to beaches , stores and the favorite of restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. They offer beach towel and give to access to Beach Candy store down stairs for free beach chairs, boogie boards , umbrella’s and other items for day use . Pool is clean and warm, with pool service . There Goofy’s restaurant has great food , we ate there for breakfast and Dinner , super friendly staff. I always get ocean front room too, love the view.

I would love to hear your. Let me start off by saying the staff was very accommodating. When we checked in, they even let us check-in early. But afterwards when we got into our room and hearing about a potential hurricane we were skeptic The sliding door in our room could not be closed completely. And for 2 days, we heard wind drast. That was a very loud, howling sound that we told the front desk that it would need to be fixed in, or we should be moved because we could not get sleep. All night on top of that, it rained inside the room, just to clear the air on it to where it would be living around everybody. And just apologized to the guys in case they had to answer any questions on top of that. Our AC went out, as you know, having an 88 and a 89° day back-to-back with a low, AC made us very uncomfortable. Saddened and felt disrespected by not allowing us to move into another room We've been to Hawaii many times but this particular incident was a horror story. Thumbs down on this trip, guys. So it it was a failure and a horror story Stay for us.
